Relaxing Holiday in Sunny Collioure

This was a perfect play to stay for our getaway on the Mediterranean. The apartment is spacious and well appointed. We had absolutely everything we needed for our two week stay. Daily breakfast on the terrace was a special treat. The apartment in centrally located close to shops, restaurants and the beach. Gilbert was very helpful getting us oriented and making some good recommendations. The apartment is located within easy walking distance from the bus stop and the train station making it a great base of operations for exploring the area. I would highly recommend this location.

Clean, well-kept, convenient to everything

Collioure is the small French town many of us dream of--on the Mediterranean, with a small harbor, winding streets, pastel houses with red roofs, beautiful plane trees, waterfront cafes. This pleasant apartment is unbelievably convenient to everything and has what you need to prepare simple meals. After you become accustomed to the three flights of stairs (!), you realize that being on the top floor gives you lots of light and a spacious terrace. Josy and Gilbert were very helpful, and insisted on refunding money because they felt we'd been overcharged when a friend of ours joined us for a few days.

Tramontane is a fabulous apartment, ideally situated in the heart of Collioure so that everything’s is accessible by walking. The apartment is well equipped and extremely comfortable and benefits from air conditioning which is great in the warm weather. The mezzanine bedroom is large, the bed comfortable and plenty of storage space. The apartment also has a beautiful terrace with comfortable furniture and a canopy, so you are able to enjoy your meals in the fresh air.Gilbert met us at the apartment and was friendly and informative, with lots of suggestions about things to do, as well as some great restaurant recommendations.Communication with Gilbert and Josy was excellent throughout and they were always quick to respond to any questions.I highly recommend the apartment and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if we visit Collioure.

Eine Wohnung mit Dachterrasse ganz im Zentrum

Wir haben Collioure vor der Hochsaison erlebt und es sehr genossen. Die Geschäfte ganz in der Nähe, das blitzsaubere Meer auch nur ein paar Schritte entfernt. Die Wohnung im obersten Stock ist geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Geeignet für Menschen, die selbst kochen. Die Dachterrasse bietet genügend Platz zum Geniessen der ruhigen Morgen- und Abendstunden. Es gilt zu beachten, dass die Treppen zur Wohnung und zum Schlafbereich recht steil sind. Gilbert und Josy sorgen sind aufmerksam und hilfsbereit um ihre Gäste. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wohnen im romantischen Stadtkern

Die Unterkunft entspricht absolut den Angaben und die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Es ist alles an Verbrauchsmaterialien wie Spülmaschinentabs, Zewa, Gewürze usw. vorhanden. Der Balkon ist uneinsehbar, also gut zum Sonnenbaden geeignet. Die Wohnung ist im dritten Stock, es läuft einem also niemand auf dem Kopf herum. Das Auto muss ca. 5 Gehminuten entfernt geparkt werden, dafür wohnt man eben mitten im romantischen Stadtkern. Es gibt Langzeittickets fürs Parken. Mindestens 7 Tage, wir hatten 14 Tage für 80€ gewählt und hätten noch ein Ticket für 1 Tag gebraucht, das gibt es leider nicht, da hätte man am normalen Parkautomat für 32€ Tickets ziehen müssen. Es gibt 2 Sätze Wohnungsschlüssel, was sehr praktisch ist. Wir können die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

A stair case climb that was too much

Unfortunately, the three flights of stairs were very long, steep and the 2nd and 3rd also were winding, The very steep climb in the flat to the bed level above meant we had to abandon this flat. It was too much for two Seniors. Our hosts provided a wonderful solution by making a another unit in the same building (one straight set of steps) available for our stay, but without an outdoor space. Thank you Josy and Gilbert.

appartement avec terrasse au coeur de la vieille ville.

appartement situé dans la vieille ville rue piétonne animée en journée mais très calme la nuit. terrasse vue sur les toits et les collines, table chaises transats , un vrai plus. l appartement est très bien équipé. Petites plages a 2 pas, restos et commerces egalement.Gilbert le propriétaire très accueillant et de bon conseil. Nous avons passé une très agréable semaine.

Très bel appartement

Nous avons passé deux semaines dans cet appartement fort bien équipé et très propre. Il ne manquait vraiment rien. La communication avec Gilbert et Josy, nos hôtes, a été parfaite. Nous avons été accueillis avec de bons conseils et une très sympathique attention, une bouteille de Banyuls ! Les conseils que nous a prodigué Gilbert à notre arrivée nous ont bien servis pour visiter les sites d’intérêt qui ne manquent pas dans cette région absolument splendide. Nous tenons à remercier sincèrement Gilbert et Josy de nous avoir fait passer un séjour agréable. A faire ou à refaire sans hésiter en juin ou septembre, là où la foule est un peu moins dense.

Oase der Ruhe mitten im Zentrum

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche in Collioure im Appartement von Gilbert. Alles war wie beschrieben. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet alles was man so braucht war vorhanden, super Ausstattung und sehr sauber. Sehr freundliche Begrüßung durch Gilbert mit Tipps zu allen unseren Fragen- merci beaucoup.

Un séjour parfait!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour. L’appartement est conforme à la description. Il est très bien situé, à deux minutes à pied de la mer, en plein cœur du centre. Parfait pour les familles : des jeux, de l’espace. Il y a aussi un petit parc pas très loin. L’accueil a aussi été très bien! Nous recommandons!

Perfect!

We had a wonderful holiday in Collioure. The apartment was perfect - well equipped and right in the heart of the town really close to everything. The balcony was a big bonus as it was private and sheltered and a real sun trap! We enjoyed some lazy afternoons playing cards with beer in hand soaking up a bit of sun! The boulangerie opposite does the best baguettes - the kids could even wander over on their own to buy our breakfast and we could watch them from the balcony. We loved the town and surrounding areas, it really is one of the prettiest places I have ever visited. We had some great authentic tapas at La Treille and a few drinks / moules frites at the café on the beachfront is a must. We enjoyed walks around the town and up to Fort St Elme for the spectacular views. We visited Perpignan by train which is worth a trip and various other coastal towns - we recommend a trip to Paulilles which has a lovely sheltered bay. Gilbert, the owner of the apartment, was very helpful and friendly - he met us at the start and end of our holiday. All in all a great trip and we will definitely be back!

Great appartient, great location, warm welcome

We have just returned from a week’s stay at Tramontane in the centre of Collioure and would highly recommend staying at this apartment! It’s right in the heart of Collioure but feels ‘above it all’ on the third floor terrace with views over the rooftops. Gilbert met us on arrival to show us around and provide lots of useful information on walks, restaurants and the surrounding area; we felt very welcome. The appartment is clean and well equipped- we found everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The shower is good, with lots of hot water, the bed is a good size and comfortable (which is rare in holiday rentals!). We wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Many thanks Gilbert and Josy!

Collioure gefiel uns sehr. Die Wohnung ist sehr zentral gelegen, top eingerichtet, wunderschöne Terrasse, alles OK. Die 'l'OSTRA-Bar' im selben Haus ist auch empfehlenswert.

We loved our stay at this great apt in Collioure. Definitely would stay here again and recommend it to others. I've never used HomeAway before, and am used to everything being included in Airbnb, so be aware of extra costs upon arrival.

Séjour exceptionnel

Nous avons passé un formidable séjour au coeur du vieux village. Une location idéalement située, parfaitement équipée et confortable. La terrasse est le petit luxe qui fait la différence. Le propriétaire est très agréable et ne manque pas d'humour ! Un grand merci Gilbert.
