First, the location was great! Beach, and restaurants! And the amount of space in the apartment was great! Now for the reality. This apartment is NOT luxury! The ceiling lights are hung with bare wires, worn furniture, NO KETTLE OR TOASTER! This is a place for Summer rentals only, there’s NO HEAT. SANDRA was the bright spot in this apartment situation. She went above and beyond to make us comfortable. She brought an electric oil heater and it made a world of difference!
Bare wired lights everywhere!
On suite bathroom, worn cabinets, shower head is old and didn’t put out water properly.

Disappointing

The word “luxury” in the listing is misleading because you will find the basics that have become worn with age and use. For example, the lighting is bare bulbs hanging from wires in the living room, bedrooms and bathroom. Be aware there is no internet. The heater will heat the living/dining area We found communication difficult with the owner, both in terms of language, helpfulness at and timeliness of responses. The family that cleans the apartment is very accommodating and does a good job. The location is within walking distance of most of Quarteira. .
