Mar-Bel Sol

Stayed for 8 nights with wife and 11 yr old. Top floor apartment so quiet at night and all residents respect 'quiet' notice at night.Great little pool-side restaurant onsite and plenty more within few minutes' walk.Location great (20 min walk to Marina; 15 min walk to Family Golf Park).Would recommend highly.

Short stay

Big airy apartment, nice views, quiet area. Bit far from activities as dad is elderly but we made the most of the apartment, really need a car

Sorry it was a bit far for your dad, we can understand that for an elderly person a car may be preferable. We go twice a year and don't hire a car as we find the 15 minute walk OK. For travelling further afield we can recommend Bolt.

Great stay

We really enjoyed our stay at this great apartment. The apartment itself was very clean and had everything we needed, We really enjoyed the fact it was on the fourth floor great for sitting on the balcony enjoying the views down to the marina. The bar /restaurant on site was very good often had live music on ,food was good great if you didn’t want to go to the marina. Just a short walk was a spar supermarket and another couple of bars /restaurants a really great location. I would definitely recommend.

Comfortable and great location

Very nice spacious apartment, lovely balcony overlooking the pool and with sea view, family run pool bar/restaurant a great asset with really friendly staff and reasonable prices. Pool has been refurbished since last year so very good. Beds comfortable and showers great (although shower screen would be better than curtains), apartment was spotless and all the kitchen equipment you need for your stay. Letting agents very helpful and friendly. Location of apartment is excellent, about 15/20 walk to the Marina.

Algarve

I read the listing wrong, so my bad, but in this day and age that was first time never had wifi, which is pretty much a must these days. Apartment was great, and we bought a SIM but didn’t work well either.

Cheeky getaway

The property was perfectly located in between the Old Village and the Marina. Supermarket and cafe serving fabulous food 2 mins walk away. Even though we had everything we needed, AC in both bedrooms would have been better and in this day and age a wifi connection really is a must. The apartment was a bit tired and in need of an update, beds were hard and uncomfortable and a shower screen rather than curtain would be more hygienic. Despite this, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and communication with the owner was great.

Mar bel sol 42

Bon emplacement

Why they chose this property

We chose this property because of its location. Having teenage children we wanted somewhere they could stay without the need of a hire car. Once transferred from the airport everything is within walking distance, or an excursion can easily be arranged for attractions further afield.

What makes this property unique

Our apartment has a light and airy feel and being on the top floor has superior views of the surrounding area and out to sea.
