Restored stone house in a pretty village in the heart of the Périgord Noir

The house has 2 bedrooms, a living room (with armchair, sofas, 80cm flat screen TV), a fitted kitchen, a bathroom and 2 WCs. You will be able to take your meals, if you wish, on the terrace-pergola. The house is located in the beautiful village of Carlux, in the heart of the Périgord Noir, 15 minutes from Sarlat. You will find in the village a bakery, a grocery store, a bar-restaurant, as well as a peasant hall offering products from farms in the region. Carlux also has a doctor, a post office. Within a radius of a few kilometers you will have access to many sites, classified villages (Domme, La Roque Gageac, Beynac, Rocamadour), gardens (Eyrignac, Marqueyssac, Cadiot), caves (Lascaux, Fond de Gaume, Rouffignac, Lacave, Padirac ) and castles (Millandes, Beynac, Castelnaud, Fénelon). Many activities will be offered, swimming and canoeing at 2 Kilometers in the Dordogne, hiking trails (the G. R 6 crosses the village), cycle paths, hot air balloon flight. The village and its surroundings also offer good restaurants and farm inns. Village markets and farms offer excellent regional products, including goose and foie gras.
Sheets, pillowcases and towels can be hired on request; their payment will be made at the entrance to the house.
