Adventure in the Front, Serenity in the Back

Discover the ultimate getaway at our cozy cabin, nestled on our private 2.5-acre lot in the heart of all the action. Enjoy the best of both worlds: easy access from the highway with the peaceful seclusion of a wooded property—no traffic noise, just the sounds of nature. Whether you’re looking to play, relax, or even work remotely, there’s plenty of space for everyone.

Step inside and you’ll find a welcoming open-concept living space, perfect for gathering and entertaining. The vaulted ceiling creates an airy, spacious feel while sunshine shines through tall surrounding trees.

The three generously sized bedrooms offer plenty of room for vacationers to spread out and relax. Two full bathrooms provide convenience and comfort for all guests.

Step out onto the covered deck in the back, where to a cozy firepit—ideal for evening s’mores or stargazing (please adhere to burn ban guidelines in peak summer months). The spacious covered front patio extends the living area outdoors, wine barrel gas firepit, complete with yard games, a BBQ grill, and an outdoor dining setup for memorable meals in the fresh mountain air.

Summer Adventures Await
Soak up sunny days and warm evenings with endless opportunities for fun and relaxation. The property’s wooded trails are perfect for biking, and you’re just steps away from the private Roslyn Ridge pool—our guests enjoy member access (small per-person fee). Winter Wonderland
When the snow falls, the adventure continues! Build memories sledding down the large hill right off the back porch, snowmobiling from your doorstep onto scenic trails, or exploring the lake and mountain vistas. After a day in the snow, warm up by the campfire, relax in the soon-to-be-installed sauna, or gather around the patio’s wine barrel gas fire. Please note: our gravel driveway is long but flat, and we provide plowing in deep snow, but we encourage preparation and proper vehicles. Follow Snoqualmie Pass driving conditions for a smooth arrival.

Lovely stay at the cabin

My family was here over Christmas. 6 of us and one toddler had plenty of space! The setting is great and the cabin has everything you need. Even an extra fridge for large groups! I’d recommend this place for families traveling together and looking for a casual place to relax that is kid friendly. Thanks for the great stay!

Girl’s Weekend

I stayed here with a group of girlfriends and we had a great time! The cabin is large and slept all 7 of us easily. The hot tub was great and the place has plenty of privacy. The owners communicated clearly with us and were nice enough to let us check in early and left us a bottle of wine. It is close to downtown Roslyn, where we had fun at The Brick and Heritage Distillery.

Fun family memories!

Tyler and Emily are great hosts. This is the second time we’ve stayed at their cabin. We love that it feels private and enjoyed sledding right on the property followed by some hot tub time. Hot tub was clean and spacious. You definitely need a vehicle with AWD/4WD to get up the long driveway.

Perfect cozy cabin For family gatherings

We live with in Coeur D Alene and my Brothers Family in Bellingham. Like to meet half way. This is the perfect halfway point. Private location and cozy with lots of room for 9 of us. Super close to Roselyn. Kids sledded and had a blast. Will come again!

Great Getaway!

A group of friends and I rented this property to ring in the New Year and we could not have asked for anything better. The location was close to Seattle and had two small towns in close proximity for any additional food that we needed. The house was large enough to sleep 6 adults comfortably. Tyler and Emily were more than accommodating and were wonderful to work with. They allowed us to get into the house several hours early so we were able to watch the UW Bowl game!! I would not hesitate to rent this property again!

family fun

Great house, great location. Two families with small children stayed and enjoyed over the new years holiday. House has a great layout for up to three families, although kitchen table seats 8-10 max. Very clean, warm quiet house. Sledding hill in the back yard is a hoot for the little ones. Lots of great hikes within minutes of the place, and very convenient to Roslyn to enjoy the local "flavor". Also, within 90 minutes of Seattle, so easy weekend getaway. Owners are very responsive and emailed to make sure everything was ok...which it was. Thanks for sharing your great place!

Great last minute get away!

We dicided on a Thursday to head over for some snowy fun. Fortunately we were able to find this great rental! Tyler and Emily were very responsive to our last minute needs and made sure we were all set up for the weekend. The place couldn't have been better. The sledding just off the back door and a warm up in the hot tub made the weekend perfect for the grown ups and the kids! We also appreciated the late check out on Sunday! It's always hard to get the kids and bags packed up by 11am! Late check out made this a breeze and definitely relieved some stress! Thanks for a great weekend. We hope to return soon!

Relaxing getaway

Throughout the process of deciding on this cabin, reserving, and preparing for our arrival, communication with the owners was excellent. They were very flexible with us, which we greatly appreciated. The location was great - right in the middle of all the events we were attending but not noisy or near traffic. The property was really nice and secluded with lots of trees around. I wish we'd had time to use the hot tub and fire pit, but our schedule kept us too busy. They're nice amenities, though! The cabin was very nice, although somewhat dated. Some of the furniture was a little uncomfortable but not so much that we didn't enjoy our stay. There were ample towels, pillows, and blankets for cooler nights and/or larger groups. Water pressure in the hall bathroom was really poor but the main bath was better. The cleaners need more attention to detail. Throughout the course of our stay, we found a baking tray full of tater tots in the over, half of a muffin (no wrapper or container of any kind) in one of the cabinets, and a piece of candy (again, no wrapper) in one of the drawers. I'm glad there weren't any critters drawn by all this garbage left behind by previous guests! Overall, we enjoyed the stay but I'd recommend an update to some of the furnishings and a new cleaning service.

Great Escape from Home Cabin Fever

No cabin fever at Grizzly Den! We had a wonderful, secluded, and peaceful spring break. For a three bed two bath the cabin is large and the beds are comfortable. With easy access from the Seattle area, any season we would stay again.

Wonderful place, photos don't do it justice

Lovely area, and the cabin was more spacious than I expected -- all the bedrooms are large and roomy. My teen and tween loved the hot tub. Living room is wonderfully warm and cozy for a family movie or game night. Two big bathrooms were perfect for our family of four. Roslyn is very charming, and will be even better post-COVID (that said, most everyone was masked up in shops). Communication from host was terrific.

We had a great time!

This property was great! We loved the open concept, nice home and lots of bed space. We loved the comfortability and amenities of this home!! A couple down sides were...the king bed was too soft and the two queen beds were too firm. The driveway/outdoor space was pretty dirty. We all didn’t like dragging in wet dirty shoes into the home...kinda felt bad. But...with all that said...yes, we would book again. And we are grateful for the experience/family time. THANK YOU!!!

Cozy weekend stay in the snow

Tyler and Emily were great hosts, communicating with us if we had any issues. The house was just as the photos showed and, honestly, felt even bigger than in the pictures. We had the maximum number of guests and never felt cramped. The hot tub was working well, which is always a huge plus when traveling to the Ronald area in the winter to do some snowshoeing and skiing. Would definitely stay here again!

Great family getaway

Great cabin with huge bedrooms tucked off the main road. The owners are very responsive and put care into their property. Only downsides were the towels being a little threadbare and the hot tub not working (which the owner gave us a head's up about). Overall, I would recommend this cabin, especially for families!

Quiet, comfortable getaway in the woods

Our extended family enjoyed a wonderful weekend here celebrating my mom's 80th birthday. The house was spotless, with a big open family area/dining area/kitchen. Each of the 3 bedrooms felt extra roomy. Having 2 fridge/freezers was a bonus. Lots of space to park all of our cars and a small boat. We spent most of our time on the back deck, enjoying the woods and the breeze. My mom has difficulty with steps--this house worked well as there are only 2 steps up to the main door, and then everything is on one level. Note that there is no a/c for summer visits--we brought fans, which worked well during the day. At night, we enjoyed the cool breeze and the sound of the wind in the trees. Very easy access from the Seattle area.

Nice and spacious with a great yard

We had a good time here although a lot of things weren’t working. The fire Alarm went off every time someone had a shower, the freezer wouldn’t close, the dryer didn’t work and a few other things. However the hot tub and yard were great.

Cool cabin in the woods

Nice place, plenty of space to sleep, modern enough for your needs. Secluded enough for privacy, great outdoor fire pit. Also close enough to Roslyn and Ronald for groceries and restaurants yet far enough away where you still feel like you are in the woods. I would rent again for sure.

Cozy and clean.

The only reason it's a 4 star and not a 5 is because we like to cook a lot and there wasn't the greatest selection of cookware(large skillets, etc). Also, there wasn't enough dinner plates for 12(but there were other options so it wasn't a big deal) even though that's how many the cabin sleeps. Overall great place though!

Family fun in the snow!

We had a fantastic visit to the Cascade Den and can't wait to come back in the summer and next winter. The home was very comfortable with a lot of options for configuring kids and adults alike. The hot tub was fantastic after an exhausting day full of sledding and snow fun! The hosts were very accessible and helpful with any questions in advance and during our stay. All the little details are thought through, and we felt very welcomed and at home. The location can't be beat - secluded but within 10 minutes to the adorable Roslyn visit. Thanks so much, Emily and Tyler!

We’re Seattle locals who live for those over-the-mountain weekend getaways with our three wild and wonderful kids. Growing up, we spent countless weekends hanging out at cabins in Cle Elum, Lake Wenatchee, Chelan, and Whidbey Island, plus camping all over Washington—so the love for outdoor adventure and all things PNW runs deep in our veins. Married for fifteen years, we’re all about chasing trails, splashing in lakes, and soaking up every bit of nature and local vibe we can find. Honestly, we can’t wait for all the fun (and chaos!) the years ahead will bring!

Why they chose this property

Landing a cabin in the Roslyn area was our dream for ages—and after five years of searching, we finally scored our perfect funky hideaway! We wanted the best of both worlds: close enough to town for spontaneous coffee runs and brewery stops, but just a quick hop to the lake and hiking trails. This spot nails it—smack dab in the middle of all the action and adventure.

Space was a must, too. We needed room for friends, wild kid shenanigans, and those epic, memory-making weekends together. Bonus: we’re members at the Roslyn Ridge Activity Center, just a stroll across the street and up the path, where summer means swimming, tubing, BBQs, tennis, and volleyball from May through September.

If you know this area, you get the magic: the colorful history, the legendary Old #3, The Brick, local breweries, quirky shops, the old mining trail, and miles upon miles of wilderness for motorized adventures. Cle Elum’s got its own treasure trove of restaurants and shops, too. Ten years in, and we’re still high-fiving ourselves for picking this spot—there’s no place we’d rather be!
