About this property

townhouse with wonderful views and private garden

please use the "information" function before booking. The house is the end unit of a townhouse complex. Because of its location the unit is completely independent and private. the house is totally restructured in avril 2017.The access to the house is through private stairs that lead directly to the front yard from the parking lot (please note that a parking spot is assigned and reserved to the unit).The front yard is meticulously landscaped and in addition of a flat green of around 300 square meters there is a wooden gazebo equipped with a dining table for 8+ people, and a built-in barbecue. On a side of the yard, protected and screened by bushes there is a convenient outdoor shower.
The view from the front yard is breathtaking as it spans from the gulf of Marina di Grosseto to the Argentario promontory and the Giglio Island. Further west it offers an incomparable view of the uncontaminated marshes and the maremma plane (known for the very unique Italian cowboys: “butteri”). Just across from the front yard you can enjoy a privileged view of the medieval village and its castle that is reachable by walking in minutes (about 300 meters).
The beach is about 800 meters walking, but keep in mind that the shortest path is rather steep and can be challenging, especially in the hottest hours of the day. In addition to the organized beach at the bottom of the hill there are many other free beaches lined up along the pines groves and reachable by car in few minutes.

Absolute bliss

We went for a two week stay in may and fell in love. What a perfect accommodation. The view is absolutely amazing, the scenery, the historical towns, the beaches, everything is top notch. All amenities needed in the direct vicinity and the weather was also great. The owners are incredibly lovely people who take pride in welcoming you to their holiday rental and do so with excellent communication in detail and with a lot of attention. We can not recommend this property enough and will definitely book this one in the future once again. Very very well done and see you soon!!!

Wir, 3 Erwachsene und ein Baby, haben eine wunderschöne Woche hier verbracht. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet, schön eingerichtet und hat eine tolle Lage mit phantastischem Blick auf den Ort, das Merr und die Umgebung. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und kümmert sich viel, damit die Gäste sich wohl fühlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren jetzt das zweite Mal in dem schönen Haus von Massimo und Paola Muzzi in Castiglione della Pescaia. Wir genießen besonders den phantastischen Blick auf die Altstadt und die Bucht von Castiglione und den schönen mediterranen Garten des Hauses. Die Vermieter sind sehr sympathisch, freundlich und zuverlässig. Massimo hält Kontakt per WhatsApp und beantwortet sofort alle Fragen. Das Haus selbst ist sehr geräumig mit 3 Schlafzimmern und 2 Bädern und ist schön und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Strände und gute Restaurants sind in der unmittelbaren Nähe. Wir werden das Haus gerne wieder buchen!

A pochi passi dal centro storico. Vista indescrivibile per bellezza ed ampiezza.Casa ristrutturata da poco, bagni molto belli. Attrezzata in modo completo e dotata di ogni confort. Aprrezzata anche dotazione tecnologica con smart tv , home teather ed una linea internet con fibra molto potente. Il proprietario non è sul luogo ma fornisce utili suggerimenti per godere al meglio di castiglioni.

incredible view. very nice garden. the medieval village is only 300 meters away and does not need a car. house completely renovated and with every comfort, very clean. we also appreciated the technology: smart tv, very efficient wifi and home teather ... as written on the site there are 40 steps to access the house ... but when you arrive you do not want to go down .. thanks Massimo and thanks Sandra. we hope for the next year

Einfach nur super

Ja das war mal ein wirklich perfekter Aufenthalt in einem wunderschönen Haus, das keine Wünsche offen ließ. Das Haus liegt auf einem Hügel und bietet einen überwältigenden Ausblick auf Castiglione und das blaue Mittelmeer. Die Einrichtung des Hauses ist liebevoll und geschmackvoll - alles da, Geschirr, Gläser, Töpfe, Pfannen; es fehlte wirklich nichts. Geschirrspülmaschine und Waschmaschine gibt es auch. Im Außenbereich der schöne, gepflegte Garten mit vielen Möglichkeiten zum sonnenbaden und zum essen. Es gibt 2 Grills eine Außendusche und jede Menge Sitzgelegenheiten. Vor allem abends ist der Blick auf das erleuchtete Städtchen und die Bucht wirklich romantisch und kaum zu überbieten. Castiglione selbst ist ein gewachsener kleiner Fischerort mit vielen Möglichkeiten zum essen und trinken. Die zahlreichen (auch freien Strände) mit glasklarem Wasser haben uns ebenfalls sehr gut gefallen. Also alles in allem Top! Die Vermieter sind wirklich reizend und man hat gespürt, daß ihnen viel daran liegt, das wir uns wohlfühlen. Und das haben wir. Danke lieber Massimo und liebe Paola. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

super Rund-um-Betreuung durch den sympathischen, aufmerksamen und freundlichen Besitzer aus Mantua, der sein phantastisches Haus übrigens auch selber gerne nutzt. Auch vor Ort erstklassige Betreuung durch das Personal: kurzer Anruf/whatsapp/email, und jedes Problem ist behoben - sogar meine kaputte Auto-Kupplung noch am gleichen Samstag Nachmittag! (wo gibt es so etwas sonst?) Erstklassige Lage mit bombastischem Rundblick über die Bucht und das ganze Archipel, direkt an der quirligen alten Stadt (5 Minuten zu Fuß). Komplett ausgestattetes, gepflegtes modernes Ferienhaus - und dazu jede Menge auch ungewöhliche Tipps abseits der ausgetretenen Touristenpfade. Ich habe mich noch nie von so vielen freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Menschen so gut umsorgt und aufgehoben gefühlt. Besser geht es nicht!

wonderful house...also in winter

we spent our Christmas holidays in this house. we were 3 couples of friends. the house allows you to have adequate privacy. everything is new and working (excellent heating). the house is equipped with everything and very clean. the beautiful old town is only 300 meters away and does not need to use the car to visit it. even at sea you can reach it on foot in 10 minutes but the return is tiring. from the house you can enjoy an incredible view !!! the owner lives far away but on there are Sigra Sandra and her husband to satisfy every need. recommended !! thanks Massimo see you soon. seven time in Castiglioni and second year i this house. fantastic view, quiet in the night and only 300 mt far to the medieval village. this year we have find a totally restructuration with charme bathrooms.....best balance price/quality . Schönes Ferienhaus mit tollem Ausblick

Kompliment! Es ist ein gut eingerichtetes Haus mit einer tollen Gartenanlage mit Grill. Der Kontakt vor Anreise als auch bei Anreise waren sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Die Zimmer waren sehr gut eingeteilt und die Küche funktionell eingerichtet. Es war alles sauber und es hat nichts gefehlt. Der Garten mit zwei Sitzplätzen und grossem Grill war das Highlight. Jeden Morgen mit diesem Ausblick beginnen ist einfach super. Das Haus ist in 10 Gehminuten vom Zentrum erreichbar, vom Parkplatz führen ca. 50 Stufen zum Eingang. Wir (5 Erwachsene mit Labrador) haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder das Haus buchen. Vielen Dank!

Grandioser Blick vom Garten

Der grandiose und beeindruckende Blick vom weitläufigen Garten, in dem sich bis zu 8 Gäste durchaus auch mal aus dem Weg gehen können, über die Maremma, Castiglione und das Meer ist das Beste an dem gemieteten Objekt. Dazu ist die Gartendusche einfach eine Wucht und die Ruhe sehr wohltuend. Die Einrichtung ist zweckmäßig und das zur Verfügung gestellte Geschirr sicher ausreichend bemessen. Man merkt andererseits dem Mietobjekt deutlich an, dass es schon in die Jahre gekommen ist, die ein oder andere Reparatur ansteht und einige Geräte vielleicht auch mal auszutauschen wären. Wenn man dies jedoch nicht überbewertet, so bleibt das Objekt ein tolles Rückzugsrefugium zum Relaxen und zu sich selbst finden mit phantastischen Ausflugsmöglichkeiten einer überaus reizvollen Maremma.

Ein traumhafter Ausblick auf eine einmalige Kulisse. Das Haus eignet sich hervorragend für Familien. Hunde sind auch willkommen. Unser Hund hat sich sofort wohl gefühlt, denn auch der Garten ist ein Traum. Laue Sommernächte, Grillabende - Erholung pur! Die Vermieter sind sehr hilfsbereit und für Fragen immer erreichbar, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
