This was an excellent property for our 7 family members. Plenty of room, beautiful view of the street. The neighborhood is very local and in walking distance to all the major attractions. The hosts were very attentive, answered all our questions in a timely fashion. I’d recommended this for a family wanting to visit Paris.

The location was phenomenal for our stay in Paris a block from Rue Montorgueil and a couple minutes walk to Les Halles. We’ve stayed in this area before so we knew it was where would be this time. The apartment has five beds and multiple bathrooms that worked great for our party of six. There is ample seating in the living room and kitchen to enjoy time together when not exploring the city. The apartment does not have air conditioning but this was not an issue (despite the heat wave) due to the orientation of the building getting only morning sun. Fans in the rooms were enough for us to stay cool.

Excellent features: Spacious, excellent location and well stocked. Interesting style and layout of the apartment. Very sour features: No closet for visitors staying for more than a week. Floor boards and kitchen tiles need to be fixed. Summertime is not the time to be here since windows need to be open. Noise from neighbors, street and nearby emergency service station happens at all hours. Ceiling fans are absolute minimum to combat brutal heat (even 25 C is pretty warm).

Quaint Parisian apartment located close to shops, restaurants, ice cream shops, central Metro lines, with an easy walk to many sights of Paris, such as Notre Dame and The Louvre. Appreciated prompt communication with host. Enjoyed staying in what felt like an older neighborhood of Paris.

We really enjoyed our stay. It's a very comfortable apartment in a great position. We were three adults and two teenagers and the space was great. My bed was super comfortable but my daughter complained that her's was far too soft. That's the only complaint.

This apartment is in an excellent location - walking distance to a few different metro/RER stations. Tons of restaurants around and cattycorner to a Carrefour, which was really helpful. The apartment is quirky and charming, complete with squeaky floors and small rooms. One of the rooms with a single bed had only a curtain for privacy, and the other room with a single bed had no doors at all, and people sleeping in two of the double bedrooms had to walk through that room, which made it challenging for the person in the single bed to rest with zero privacy. The two children in our party stayed in these single bedrooms, so it wasn't a big deal for us, but something good to know for future guests.Other reviews mention that the apartment is filled with books, knickknacks, etc., and that's true. The drawers in both bathrooms were stuffed with cosmetics, clothes, etc. I opened a drawer to find old passports and other paperwork, which was very strange. It feels more like you are housesitting in a friend's unique apartment vs renting your own space. This is not the typical experience I'm used to on Vrbo or Airbnb, but we didn't mind - it didn't hinder our experience. It may bother others, though. We stayed in the middle of a heatwave, and the building does not have air conditioning, but we had plenty of fans and survived. Our family of 5 had a great stay in the apartment. Plenty of space and convenient location with easy walking distance to major sites. The only downfall is that there is street noise in the middle of the night and very early morning. Otherwise it was perfect. House has all necessary amenities.

Delightful Apartment

Couldn’t have been happier at this very cool apartment. Comfortable beds and 2 1/2 baths was very nice for our family of four, plus a washer! The location was excellent, with all the restaurants you can imagine nearby and convenient to metro station. The owners were extremely accommodating and very responsive. Highly recommend.

Wonderful apartment in Les Halles and close to the Louvre

Everything about the apartment was wonderful for our family of 5. Bruno was very easy to communicate with and was prompt in replying and answering our questions. The apartment was very comfortable and artsy. It was roomy and well stocked for cooking. The location was great! One block to the Metro and within walking distance to the Louvre and Seine. There were many cafes, little stores and restaurants in the area. We can't wait to return to Paris again!

Charming and central flat

We were four adults and four children (3-8yo) staying in this charming flat. The flat was big and clean with 4 bedrooms, a livingroom, a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, a small shower room and a small extra room with a toilet. Our kids especially enjoyed all the toys. The owner was very kind and helpful. The flat was situated in a very nice and central part of Paris. The street had lots of cafes and restaurants and the parallell street had even more. The flat was a block away from the Metro and train station (Les Halles), which is also a huge shopping area, as well as a park where we also found a playground. It took us 5-7 min (without kids) to walk to Le Louvre and 5 to George Pompidou. We really enjoyed our stay and would very much recommend the flat!

Spectacular location and accommodations

The first impression that we had was that the pictures of the property did not do it justice. The combination of character, layout and overall coziness helped make our two week stay in Paris an extremely enjoyable one. I don’t think the location could be any better. We were minutes from the nearest grocery (Monoprix), and metro - not to mention a 15 minute walk to the Louvre. The energy of the surrounding area was amazing but not overpowering. There is even a nearby park where our kids could play basketball, football and table tennis! The owner was very kind and attentive. We’ll be looking for this property the next time we’re in Paris.

Perfect Parisian apartment for a large family

This is a huge and beautiful apartment for a large group at an exceptionally comfortable location in the heart of Paris. It is about 10 min walk to Louvre and Pont Neuf. It is in a pedestrian area with countless restaurants, cafes, bakeries, supermarkets, butcher shops (two of them) and a seafood shop, all within 3 min walking. Note the street downstair will transform to a lovely open market on Sunday. It is also about 3 min walking to les Halles RER/M/bus stations, one of the largest center stations in Paris which will get you to anywhere of the city through the various options using public transportation. The apartment self has the perfect floor plan for a large family (me, my husband, two kids and my parents). Separate 4 bedrooms comfortably for 6 of us. It is amazingly quiet at nights as all bedrooms windows opens to the courtyard but not the street. I have to mention the apartment has 2 full bathrooms (with both toilets and showers) and one half bathroom (with a toilet). This setup is life-saving for a large group like our family. I was concerned about the hot weather as we arrived on a day with 33 degree as it doesn’t have AC. We found it so pleasant and comfortable. No need for AC at all. The apartment is full of characters, beautiful decor and warm traces of living and memories. Books and a piano. The huge living room. The big dinner table. A fully functional kitchen with everything you could think of when it comes to cooking. Yes, a real coffee machine and a full size refrigerator and a dish washer. It is my dream apartment in Paris and I felt so lucky that we were able to stay here.

Wonderful location

The property was in a fantastic location. It was clean and lived in which we really enjoyed. There were plenty of bedrooms for our family of 5 which is not usually found in big cities. The only thing we would consider an improvement would be to get more fans. As the temperature increased we really needed fans to stay cool in the apartment. Other than that it was great!

Great location

Our family (2 adults, and four children from 7 to 19) stayed for 9 nights in the apartment. This location of the apartment was perfect. We were able to walk most anywhere in the city and Metro connections is near by. The apartment is also steps away from restaurants, supermarkets, unique clothing shops and great bakeries. It is a beautifully and well outfitted home. The owner is very responsive and helpfull, made the check in process extremely easy. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

Perfect Paris place...

Great location with Metro 100 meters away, bakery around the corner & small market across the street. Beds were excellent for all 5 of us, plenty of hot water, kitchen with spices and coffee, washer with soap... Overall a great place to call home for a Paris vacation. We all got excellent sleep as the nights were very quiet. No noisy neighbors. No garage dumpster banging at 6am. A street level restaurant was 25 meters away but guests were quiet by 10 pm. Also, it was not a problem for us but it is a spiral staircase up 3 flights to this apartment....

Great location-lots to do do

My family (wife and two children 11 and 15) stayed for four nights. The apartment is very Parisian and in an excellent location just a few minutes from Les Halles. We were on the third floor-so it was a rather warm during the recent Paris heat wage. But, fans were brought in whichhelped. The apartment is spacious and had everything we needed. Any issues were promptly dealt with. Supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants and and stores were abundant and within easy walking distance. This was a diamond in the rough and we would definitely stay again.

Great stay for a family of 7

Traveled with my family and parents and the home was very cozy but comfortable. Everyone had private bedrooms. There was one bedroom that was partitioned off the living room with room divider but it worked out fine for my parents. Grocery stores, bakeries, unique clothing shops were just outside our door. And on Sundays, there is a farmers market right on our street. Great location for shopping and not terribly crowded!

Phantastische Lage, große und bequeme Wohnung, unkomplizierte und freundliche Vermieter.

Zuhause in Paris. Wir waren 10 Tage mit bis zu acht Personen in der Wohnung und kamen gut klar. Die Wohnung ist groß und bietet Rückzugsmöglichkeiten, ausreichende Bäder und WCs und einen großen Essbereich. Es ist altes Haus und einige Details sind etwas labil, könnten Wartung und Liebe gebrauchen und sind gewöhnungsbedürftig (Fenster). Die Lage ist sensationell und super zentral. Dafür ist es auch nicht zu laut. Wir haben die Zeit in Paris und in der Wohnung sehr genossen.

Lovely Parisian apartment with lots of character in the perfect location.

Madame Tessiot was very helpful and made our rental and arrival quite easy. The apartment was old with great character, ancient bare ceiling and supportive beams. Windows open on the street. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. The most perfect location 7 minutes walk to the Louvre, 1 minute to the Chatelet (RER and Metro connections everywhere), and hundreds of cafes and restaurants on pedestrian streets within easy walking distance. There is a 3 story walk up to the apartment, but, as seniors, we enjoyed the walk. We kept the windows open most nights which helped with breezes aided by fans. One downside: there is some street noise late in the evening, so if you are a light sleeper—consider ear plugs. We didn’t bother. Overall—very enjoyable stay, with a real Parisian vibe, in the Perfect location. Thank you Madame Tessiot.

Lots of room, great location!!

I’m just getting back from this short 4 days in Paris with my 2 daughters and 3 grand children ages 3,5 and16. We had plenty of room to sleep, cook, eat, play and rest. Our 3 year old fell in love with the little hobby horse, she found it as soon as we entered and it was her friend throughout! I learned how to make espresso on the espresso machine! Plenty of cafes, patisseries, boulangeries and shops right under our sunny windows..and oh, but I will miss the bells of St Eustache!! Steps to train station, walk to The louvre, Notre-Dame, this was the perfect apartment, a real Parisian apartment. I hope I am able to come back someday to Paris, and I hope Sophie is still renting this charming apartment!!!

Casa accogliente in una zona deliziosa

La casa è grande e spaziosa, in una posizione comodissima. È una casa vissuta, non glaciale come le case nate per essere affittate. È come essere ospitati a casa di un amico partito per le vacanze. L'unico neo è che è un po' rumorosa; due i motivi: è di fronte alla caserma dei pompieri ed è uno con i solai in legno, quindi scricchiola. Detto ciò il soggiorno è stato molto piacevole. Molto disponibili i proprietari.
