It is away from the hustle and bustle of Sintra but easily accessible to all the sites by a ten minute bus ride. The house is great and very clean, kitchen with enough equipment for making dinner. We enjoyed the little bar/grocery store one block away for getting to know the locals and for those little neccessities readily available. Being in a neighborhood was an enhancement for me. Thanks Maria for a very nice stay!

left us sitting in the car for several hours

unfortunately, our house could not speak any English in my Portuguese is very limited. For some reason, she did not understand that we are waiting in front of her property at the designated time and kept saying she thought we were scammers. VRBO tried to help me by calling her and she thought they were scammers as well. when she finally arrived and let us into the property, it was absolutely filthy with cold pizza and trash everywhere. She rushed around to try to clean it, but then left us outside again. It did not feel it was gonna be clean enough to stay there. The pictures unfortunately look nothing like the actual property. I think she was disappointed, and so are we. VRBO helped us get a refund.

Adoramos a nossa estadia de forma geral. O sítio onde o alojamento está localizado é de uma autêntica paz e visão sobre a natureza onde se respira profundamente ar puro. Le logement est idéalement situé dans un quartier calme, avec possibilité de se garer facilement et proche de SINTRA. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les 2 restaurants pas loin. Logement très bien agencé. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour.

Huis dicht bij Sintra en stranden.

Huis ligt dicht bij Sintra met het treinstation naar Lissabon. Tevens vindt je op 15 minuten mooie stranden. Het huis zelf is wel toe aan een upgrade, vooral de patio en keuken. Wij hebben er een mooie week gehad

FABULEUX !

Tout dans la location de Fernanda est super. Nous avons eu Fernanda par l'intermédiaire d'Abritel car elle a eu un problème de voiture et nous avait laissé les clés dans la boite aux lettres et lors de notre départ, nous avons fait la même chose. Sans l'avoir vue, nous avons reconnu en elle une dame charmante et prête à tout pour nous satisfaire. Encore merci à Fernanda. Shame about the dogs!

Unfortunately this wasn’t quite the relaxing romantic setting the listing suggested. The walls between the adjacent property must be paper thin, sadly the neighbour rescues dogs...fair to say at one stage I actually thought the dogs where in our Villa as the noise was so bad. The location is quite nice, shops and restaurants locally with some nice views. The property is a little tired in places, the cooker packed up halfway through cooking a meal which isn’t ideal!

TODO FANTASTICO EN ESTE ALOJAMIENTO

La vivienda está muy bien ubicada, cerca de la Autovía, de Sintra, Cascais, Estoril, Cabo da Roca. Fernanda es una anfitriona encantadora. Nos dejó leña para la chimenea, y tuvo un detalle de bienvenida (botella de vino twany oporto y chocolates). Las camas son comodisimas. Totalmente recomendable

Superfreundlicher Kontakt und wunderbares Häuschen

Wir waren im Juni hier zu dritt und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Es war alles da, Kaffee - Spül- und Waschmaschine und der Kontakt mit Maria war super - sie hat uns gleich ein bisschen was über die Umgebung erzählt, ein kleines Abendessen eingekauft und uns mit dem etwas komplizierten Mautsystem weitergeholfen! Das Häuschen liegt etwas abseits vom Touristentrubel, wunderschön im Gebirge und nur etwa 10 Autominuten entfernt von herrlichen Stränden. Für sechs Personen kam uns das Häuschen allerdings etwas zu klein vor und wir hatten kein deutsches TV (was lediglich wegen der Fussball WM etwas schade war :-P ) Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!!

Très jolie maison, bon séjour

La maison est très propre et accueillante (il y a tout ce dont on a besoin si on arrive comme nous tard le soir). Il y a au rez de chaussée la cuisine, le salon et des toilettes, au 1er étage 3 chambres avec lits doubles et une salle de bain avec baignoire et toilettes, et un salon d'été au sous-sol (avec appareils de sport). Fernanda est très prévenante: un panier garni nous attendait à l'arrivée. Merci à elle ! Le quartier est résidentiel et très calme, et une pastelleria au coin de la rue fait du très bon pain. 2 gros bémols cependant : un des lits grince affreusement au moindre mouvement, et ... les chiens du quartier et surtout ceux du voisin (maison mitoyenne) sont très bruyants et nous ont souvent empêcher de dormir (soit le matin très tôt, soit le soir ).

Excellent. The property had everything that we required and was in a great location.

We had a wonderful holiday. The host was very helpful and the accommodation was comfortable and well equipped. There is so much to do in the area. Lots of historic buildings and beautiful beaches within a short drive. Best to visit Sintra early in the morning because it does get crowded later in the day.

Una semana inolvidable

En verdad la casa esta en una situación perfecta para poder conocer todo el centro de Portugal,esta cuidada hasta el ultimo detalle, y con un gusto exquisito, lo mejor el trato de los propietarios, los cuales se portaron fantasticamente y nos dieron mucha información de la zona, si volviera a Portugal sin duda regresaria a la casa,Fernanda gracias por todo, un abrazo.

La situación de la casa -...

La situación de la casa -con El Palacio de Pena y el Castillo dos Mouros enfrente-, la decoración y limpeza de casa , lo completa que está - no le falta de nada - , lo cerca que está Lisboa, son suficientes motivos para recomendarla. Pero además Mª Fernanda, nuestra anfitriona, es la amabilidad y bondad personificada , una gran persona. En resumen: es una excelente oferta para visitar Sintra y Lisboa.
