This traditional, stone holiday cottage is built against the rock in a tiny lane above the 16th-century riverside of the small village of Couze et saint front. One of 2 row, : 1 bed 160cm x 200cm and 2 beds 90cmit has been renovated in country style with some typical antique furnishings, It is just a few minutes' walk from local restaurants and many shop you will need. In the neighbouring village of Lanquais, the leisure lake - overlooked by the château - is particularly suited to families and children, with spacious lawns. The bastide of Lalinde, and the Dordogne's attractions are within easy reach. Climbing, walking, horse riding and golf nearby.

All you require for up to 5 people ,great value for money

The location of the property is perfect for discovering the surrounding area this our fourth visit so I think that speaks volumes .the owner always leaves a jar of strawberry jam or marmalade which is delicious.

Very quirky gite with lovely courtyard which you can enjoy if the weather is nice, unfortunately we had a wet and cold weather so had to light the wood burner to warm up. Lovely restaurant in the village and markets close. Lovely hose who is very helpful.

Sehr angenehme, gut eingerichtete Ferienwohnung

Freundlicher Empfang, die Vermieterin ist bei Problemen oder Fragen auch jederzeit telefonisch zu erreichen. Das Haus liegt im Dorf, hat aber durch die geschickt angelegte Terrasse viel Privatsphäre und Charme. Im Haus findet man alles, was man braucht, es ist sehr sauber und alle Elektrogeräte sind hochwertig und gepflegt! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Charmant, le gite ou on se sent bien !...

Dans un cadre de verdure, tout proche des bords de la Couze et de la Dordogne, ce gîte spacieux et confortable est idéal pour un séjour reposant. Bien équipé à l'intérieur, comme à l'extérieur, très propre et bien entretenu .L'accueil du propriétaire est très chaleureux, de bon conseil pour des balades , commerces et restos à proximité. Nous y retournerons avec un grand plaisir dès que possible pour continuer à découvrir ce coin ravissant ! Une semaine ne suffit pas….

Endroit magnifique, logement parfait

Une maison magnifique avec de belles prestations. Décoration moderne et agréable. Une belle cuisine, une literie très confortable, mention excellent pour les oreillers!! Un patio agréable et intime avec un salon de jardin . Un cadre parfait où la journée et la nuit il n’y a pas un bruit...Une propriétaire charmante et toujours dispo si besoin. Une place gratuite pour garer la voiture à côté du logement. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans le logement. Merci à vous pour ce premier contact dans cette belle région de la vallée de la Dordogne ! Un grand merci !

Super maison bien située

C’était la deuxième fois que nous louions cette maison, et nous sommes toujours autant ravis. La maison est toujours aussi agréable, bien équipée, décorée avec goût, la terrasse est parfaite à toute heure de la journée. La proximité avec la vallée des châteaux et bastides en fait un emplacement idéal. Les deux boulangeries du village et les commerçants sont un plus. Les contacts avec la propriétaire est toujours simple et sympathique: elle donne de bonnes adresses. N’hésitez pas une seconde à passer des vacances au gite de Claire !

Comme chaque année nous sommes venus goûter aux charmes du Périgord:. la location le gite de claire est impeccable, très confortable, propre et rationnelle. A lovely house very well équiped and quiet near the canal dordogne by cycling. Spontaneous trip for a family meet up cycling for a week. Couze offers shops, bars, campsites, and bike hire. Couze s its along the flat river Dordogne and canal routes. Possible to get away from traffic for relaxing cycling if you have family with you right along flat Riverside route

Amaizing, quiet, weather beautiful, rest, bike...

The weather was amaizing in this September. We came to cycle on the small roads of Périgord. We climbed the quotation of Trémolat, the roads of Bergerac, Issijeac, Mauzac. Ann, the owner had welcomed us warmly, giving us maps, and good restaurants. The week was too short to make everything. The village is timeless, quiet and practical with shops nearly. We eat outside on terrase and to tidy up bikes in complete peace.

Voici un séjour authentique: la situation est idéale dans le village Médiéval de Couze, à proximité de tout le centre historique des papeteries - Tous les ingrédients d'un bon séjour sont réunis: La décoration et le confort du logement - un wifi qui fonctionne un restaurant à proximité "L'auberge des Marroniers", très bon et au rapport qualité prix vraiment honnête, et le personnel y est agréable. La gastronomie est vraiment un atout de la région. - Pas de nuisance sonore (situé dans une petite ruelle à l'écart). - Il faisait 27° durant notre séjour , une température très agréable. La maison est bien isolée et nous avons bien dormi. - L'hôte est accueillante et souriante.. à recommander.

« Splendide, vélo, calme, restaurant, repos. Le temps a été splendide en ce mois de mai. Nous sommes venus faire du vélo sur les petites routes du Périgord. Nous avons gravi la cote de Trémolat, les routes de Bergerac, Issijeac, Mauzac. Ann, la propriétaire nous avait accueilli chaleureusement, nous confiant des cartes, et itinéraires, des restaurants. La semaine était trop courte pour tout faire. Le village se trouve hors du temps , calme et pratique avec ses boutiques de producteurs proches. La terrasse nous a permi de manger dehors et de ranger les vélos en toute quietude. »

Très bien située sur les hauteurs d'un village classé, à 5 minutes à pieds de la boulangerie/presse/restau et de la place du marché , cette jolie maison de pierre remplit parfaitement son rôle. La pièce à vivre est agréable, les chambres sont fonctionnelles et confortables, la salle de douche spacieuse avec ses deux vasques. Bref l’endroit est propre et bien pensé. Située sur une placette, la ruelle est calme et peu passante, vous pouvez garer votre voiture. La place de l’église est situé à 100 mètres. Le patio est idéal pour tous les déjeuners/diners en extérieur et la bronzette.... Nous recommandons vivement cette maison d'un très bon rapport qualité prix.

C'est avec un immense regret que nous avons quitté cet hébergement où tout a été pensé pour qu'on s'y sente bien. La rénovation est une parfaite réussite car réalisée avec goût et sans ostentation. La literie est très confortable. A l'extérieur, nous disposions d'un " coin repas" sur la terrasse et ...nous avons pris des repas à l'extérieur. Mais nous avons particulièrement apprécié la gentillesse, la générosité et la discrétion de nos hôtes qui savent aussi se montrer disponibles pour donner des idées de randonnées ou de visites dans cette belle région qu'ils connaissent bien. De plus la documentation est abondante, récente et très bien classée par thème. à recommander sans modération....

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour en Dordogne dans cette magnifique maison. Elle est très confortable, soigneusement décorée avec un raffinement et goût ;même dans les petits détails ce que nous avons beaucoup apprécié. A noter que la literie est de qualité ce qui est surtout très important pour nous. Assez spacieuse même pour un long séjour avec beaucoup de rangements. La propiétaire est très attentive et disponible dès le moment même de la demande de renseignements, le chaleureux accueil, jusqu´au départ. Vraiment charmant. Nous gardons cette adresse précieusement pour une prochaine visite dans la belle région de la Dordogne.

Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit: Pour commencer, l'emplacement est parfait, près de l'aéroport mais dans un joli petit village typique et à une courte distance de toutes les meilleures choses à voir dans la Dordogne. La maison est magnifique et possède tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin. Il y a une grande zone pour s'asseoir, manger à l'extérieur ou à l'intérieur. La décoration est agréable ; c'est un mélange de rustique et moderne. C' est calme, très confortable et bien équipé. l'endroit est impeccablement propre. Probablement notre truc préféré est l'accueil. Ann est chaleureuse, accueillante et organisée pour tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Nous y retournerons sans hésiter.
