This apartment offers two beds of very good quality: On the mezzanine pretty thick mattresses and down two places, a large contemporary room, luxurious ,.This non-smoking apartment is on the 2nd floor of an old building typical of the Marais with a beautiful height under ceiling 3m60. Without vis-à-vis, it is adjacent to the famous department store Bazaar City Hall and you will find the place of the town hall downstairs. It offers a rare clarity, in central Paris. A few minutes walk, you can discover the place des Voges, the Notre Dame de Paris, the Louvre Museum, the Sainte-Chapelle, Ile Saint Louis, the Quays of the Seine and its booksellers. By metro, bus or RER, you can visit: the Musée d'Orsay, the Eiffel Tower, Versailles Castle in Disneyland (RER B).

We (Mom, Dad, and Child (7)) enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment. Conveniently-located just outside one of the Hotel de Ville transit entrances, this apartment is in the middle of the vibrant Marais neighborhood. We wanted to make some meals at home and we were happy to learn that the kitchen was fully-stocked with pots, pans, a drip coffee maker, cleaning supplies, cups, plates, and a water filter. The refrigerator is on the larger size (though you won’t need to buy much since there are so many wonderful restaurants around). The host was gracious and took the time to explain everything to us. There is no laundry, but we located a laundromat not too far away and it worked well for us. The only thing I would caution is that there is no fan in the bedroom so you must sleep with the windows open to get air circulation. As stated above, the street is vibrant, so if you have any sensitivity to sound, bring ear plugs. We had a great experience and would recommend this apartment to anyone traveling to Paris.

Perfect location near the metro, Notre Dame, the Seine and the Marais. We had a wonderful time exploring nearby sights. The apartment itself is beautiful and well appointed. The beds are comfortable in both the master bedroom and the loft sleeping area. The kitchen is very nice, perfect for making tea and warming up takeaway. We found it to be very relaxing and a good place to rest in between our packed itinerary. The shower temperature is very sensitive to get just right, but once you do is enjoyable. Karl is a wonderful, communicative host and had a lovely friend show us everything about the apartment on our arrival. She also gave us excellent tips for apps to use and restaurants nearby. Citymapper is a great app for finding your way around. The two cafes on the corner are both great; Troquet du Temple had my favorite croissant in the city; very soft and buttery, and Copain makes a delicious flat white and has incredible pastries and quiche for takeaway. Other restaurants in the area that we enjoyed in the Marais were L’as du Falafel (incredible- has ruined me for all other falafel places) and on the same block, Chez Hanna (get the Shawarma Plate). Further down the metro line at the Bastille station, you can walk to two other amazing restaurants, Chez Janou (make a reservation and get the chocolate mousse) and Bistrot des Tournelles. Both fantastic. Overall, this was a fantastic place to experience the heart of Paris and an easy place to travel around the city from.

Amazing location

Karl's apartment is in the perfect location for walking around and taking in all that Paris has to offer. It's beautiful and airy and clean. It can get loud outside due to the bars and bistros in the area but the windows keep it very quiet. We loved it!

Great apartment in a great location

The apartment was in a great location, only a few steps off the metro and walkable to many sights, shops and restaurants. Karl was there to check us in when we arrived. There apartment was very clean, well decorated and will appointed. We had one request while we were there and Karl was very responsive and corrected it immediately. Would definitely book again.

Wonderful apartment in the center of Paris!

This flat is incredible! We loved the location and it had everything we needed and more. It was perfect for our family trip. Karl was a great host and gave us wonderful recommendations for our stay. Amazing property!

I can't think of a better location to stay to access all of the major and less well known sites in the center of Paris. There is a metro stop at the front door and another line 5 minutes away. The property is even nicer than the photographs describe. Definitely recommended.

Perfect

The location of the beautiful apartment is perfect with a metro stop, shopping, bakeries and restaurants only a few minutes away. Even a gluten free bakery is around the corner. You can walk to the Hotel de Ville, the Centre Pompidou and to Notre Dame and all the other sights you can easily reach with the metro. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely book this apartment again!

Amazing first trip to Paris

We were a party of four and there was a perfect amount of space for us. The location of this apartment is great, surrounded by shops, cafes, restaurants, metro stops, and more. This apartment is decorated beautifully and the bathroom, kitchen, closets and living room were very comfortable (space wise) and accessible. Karl was an amazing host and was very easy to communicate with, very knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely recommend staying in this apartment. You will have a wonderful trip!

Perfect City Flat

As someone who books multiple VRBO properties annually, Karl's place was actually nicer in-person than in photos. Located in the Hotel de Ville area with a Metro station within 10 meters of the building, logistics is a breeze. The quiet, clean, well-kept flat itself leaves you wanting for nothing - from the spacious bathroom to the fully-stocked kitchen (which I suspect very few will use to its fullest potential since eating out is one of the highlights of a Paris trip) to the 2 separate sleeping areas (a BR with a door and a loft space) - it feels complete and does not require a lot of stairs to reach. Do not hesitate to book this property.
