New apartment, spacious, very well equipped, tastefully decorated with modern materials. You need comfort, privacy and space, this apartment of almost 100 m² very well designed, offers the possibility to have 3 double bedrooms with 3 private bathrooms. A 270 d° view on the mountain and the valley in a row, no opposite. A large and deep terrace facing south. In the only residence of the resort equipped with a private parking in the basement. Access to the SPA, the indoor swimming pool, the Hammam, the Sauna, the weight room, the outdoor jacuzzi, the day-care center, the bar, the leisure area and the 24-hour reception, accessible from the apartment, without leaving the apartment. The resort is entirely pedestrian. Accessibility to the 650 km of slopes of the Portes du Soleil: France and Switzerland in one resort. Departure and arrival at the residence on skis. Ski school, children and adults close to the Residence. Equipment hire stores in the Residence. Heated ski and boot room. Two restaurants in the Residence. Possibility to have breakfast or bread delivered in the morning. The ski school for beginners very close by, the little ones can go to the lessons by horse-drawn sleigh.

Great stay

We had a very good holiday in a very nice and spacious apartment. The owner was though full, the location is great (both for skiing and dinner) and the pool is a great addition. We will definitely book again.

Excellent location but getting a bit tired

I've stayed in this block approx 6 times and now the furniture is getting a bit tired, sofas etc. But the location is excellent as are the facilities.

Lovely location

The property was just as pictured, and our host was so pleasant to deal with. The receptionists at Pierre Vacances were so polite . Nothing was a problem. We had groceries delivered to our apartment by the local Sherpa. It was a very relaxing, pleasant stay.

Lovely apartment - highly recommend

Very easy for families. Nice size, high quality, nice spa area, ski literally to the front door of the boot room - ski out is a small walk for Avoriaz but only 100m - or ski out to the bottom of a green run and take the lift to Avoriaz central area. Boot room is so easy and big lockers Close to loads of restaurants The supermarket is 5 min walk. Parking is easy in the basement Ski hire is a 30metre walk from the front door which is perfect. Best discount is online so book in advance. Also a great ski/ sports shop attached so be careful as lots of nice stuff in there!!! Owner was always quick to reply and good instructions how to get in. We will def come back :-)

30th birthday celebration.

The property was of a high standard and well equipped. The views were outstanding with a spacious balcony. The en suite showers were very luxurious . The building had beautiful facilities including gym, pool, sauna and steam room. The boot room was easy to access and was wonderful to have heated lockers for ski/ snowboard boots. The check in process was a little confusing as we didn’t realise we had to go to another building to check in and it was poorly sign posted. We had to ask for extra apartment keys and there was only 2 sets of keys for the boot room which was awkward with a large group. The apartment was perfectly positioned for ski in and ski out but there was quite a steep incline to walk up and down to access the rest of the town. We were very disappointed to find the diagrams and descriptions of the bedrooms were incorrect. We were expecting two of the rooms to have a queen bed and 2 singles in them. This would have accommodated our group, with no one having to sleep in the communal area. Unfortunately the reality was that two bedrooms only had single beds in them. So we had to use the sofa bed. The owner was not very helpful in responding to our complaint. The apartment reception understood what we were saying as we went to check we were in correct apartment.! Thankfully VRBO listened to our concerns and after several days of communications we were offered a credit note to use against future bookings.

We are renting this apartment since 2013, exactly with the same description and pictures for the last 14 years. We have rented to about 70 different families : english, scottish, irish, american, german, sweden,....all of them have always well interpreted the description made on Homaway, Hamolidays, Abritel, VRBO before and after their stay. The apartment is for 8 persons with 3 separated bedrooms : 1 with double king size bed and private bathroom and wc, 1 with king size or double single beds and a private bathroom with wc and 1 with king size or separated beds and a third bathroom and wc. Plus a sofa bed for 2 in the living room. So there are 8 places not one more excepted for babies beds. The pictures are showing the 3 bedrooms , 2 pictures are from the same bedroom, showing it from the entrance and a reverse one to show the bathroom. This person is the only one to have made a misunderstanding. The curious thing is that she tried 2 days before the stay to ask me to welcome an additionnal person for being 9, but I answered it was not possible because for the apartment is for 8 ( I have her mails) and not for 9.When she said I was not helpfull but I was not in a position to add one extra bedroom by magic. We are PREMIUM hosts for 14 years with only very positive comments so I am very hurt that somebody might suggest that we have made a fake ! I leave you to be the judges of where is the truth in that bad comment. I am sorry for her but she made her own. misunterpretation by herself and not due to a wrong description in Abritel site. She ain wrong all the arrival instructions we give are very clear, she is wrong if you need more keys you asked to the reception desk, she is wron,g the reception desk is knowing us very well and they are very helpfull...

This was a truly beautiful, spacious apartment with an amazing view. All amenities on door step!

Avoriaz is a lovely resort particularly for families with horses trotting around and no cars. The Amara location is excellent and includes underground parking. The apartment looked over the valley towards Morzine and gave the most incredible sunsets. The property owner was superb, responding to all questions quickly and in a useful way. Highly recommend!

Tout est bien prévu pour le ski (local à ski directement relié par l’ascenseur), tout est fonctionnel, pratique et de qualité, le coin cuisine, les salles de bain et sanitaires. Spacious apartment in a great location, wonderful views and very good facilities

We had a week in Easter with great snow - a 3 m base in the resort. Easy access to the ESF ski school (150m) , skiset ski hire next to the building and great facilities for children in the building. Close to a good slope for tobogganing into the evening sun. Great views from the building. Rare (for Avoriaz) indoor parking or easy drop off with airport transfers. Sherpa supermarket (open at 8.00) and boulangerie patisserie (open at 7.00) are close by and very reasonable prices. Skiing is fabulous - Avoriaz can be a bit busy by the intrets lift after morning ski school drop off and around lunch time but you can get away from the busiest areas quite easily and the Portes de Soleil area is vast.

This is a fabulous apartment

This is a beautiful apartment; probably the best we’ve ever stayed in: big rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, plenty of seating, lots of shower/bath facilities and great views. There was also a washing machine in the apartment which is very rare and most welcome. Access to the lift and the heated ski locker was very easy. Skiing conditions were as good as any in 40 years skiing. On arrival we were dropped off by taxi (ski-lifts.com) right under the block in the car park which was very easy. To get to the main ski area you simply ski down the Proclou run from outside the ski locker and then take the TSD Proclou chair lift to the plateau (~15 minutes) giving access to the whole area. Or you can walk out of the back of the ski locker and onto the Beginner’s Plateau at the back of the block then down the Boulevard des Skieurs. To ski back to the apartment you simply come down from the area at the top of the Proclou lift, aiming for the square (not the round) tunnel under the road skiing straight back to the ski locker without stopping or poling. The ESF rendezvous is right at the back of the apartment and very easy to get to. We did the Portes de Soleil circuit. Apart from a 100m walk across the road in Morgins it was all skiable and very easy. The trick was to navigate to the Gabelou lift in Chatel which goes up and then down across the road meaning you don't have to take a bus at all. Lots of social media say that the circuit is difficult and takes all day. Even in the blizzard conditions that we had and a vin chaud stop it was only half that. All the local restaurants were good. There are two actually in the Block and several more 10 minutes walk away.

Une semaine parfaite de relaxation. Les skis aux pieds. Les équipements sportifs à disposition. Un appartement spacieux. Un accueil appréciable. Un petit souci? La réception est disponible pour répondre efficacement au besoin des vacanciers. Les garages au sous sol sont très pratiques pour décharger et charger les bagages. Petits et grands avons passés une merveilleuse semaine en famille.

Merveilleux séjour😍 Très calme, grande terrasse ensoleillée, équipements au top Idéalement placé: proximité de tous commerces, aux pieds des pistes, Parking accès direct (rare à Avoriaz) , casiers à ski avec un système chauffage pour vos chaussures ( que du bonheur 😀). Après ski de rêve : sauna, hammam, piscine (gratuit) . Massages, jacuzzi en plein air avec vue féerique ( payant) . Pour ceux qui aiment le ski ou pas , c' est l'endroit idéal pour se détendre .

Great apartment in brilliant location

Really lovely spacious apartment - well located within a superb resort - thoroughly enjoyed our week there and owner very helpful and great to deal with. Swimming pool a bit chilly but facilities overall very good. Couple of minor problems when we arrived but swiftly dealt with by apartment managers. Apartment very clean and in good condition throughout - everything just as described on the listing. Highly recommended.

Stayed here for a week and had a brilliant holiday - apartment is really superb, very spacious, clean and well maintained with the most amazing views. Location within the resort is very good and facilities are great - although the swimming pool was a little chilly! Couple of small problems speedily sorted out by apartment managers. Owner really helpful and great to deal with. Would highly recommend.

At the jonction of Swiss and France, closed to the lake of Geneva, the climate is soft and good and the level of snow is always very high. The "Portes du Soleil" skiing estate is very large and you could pass from one country to the other by the montain tracks.
