Villa Emmeline is a prestigious seaside retreat with 5 bedrooms and a sofa bed, each with their own en-suite bathroom, and a further bathroom next to the kitchen and outdoor shower by the pool.

The two-storey villa with a large and well-kept garden stands overlooking the valley leading to the Gulf of Alghero.

The view is incredible.

From the bedrooms the view is lost towards the sea.
The property is located about 5 kilometres from Alghero on the road leading to the village of Olmedo, just outside Alghero. A distance that even in the height of summer can be covered in a maximum of about ten minutes. Ideal for 5 couples, a family or a group of friends.

The size of the villa is such that it can easily accommodate 12 people, 10 of them with their own suite and en-suite bathroom. A wireless satellite Internet connection is integrated into the villa.

Central air conditioning. Security gate.

Supplements: (on request)
- Beach towels with an extra charge of 10 Euro per person per stay.
- Periodic cleaning (on request) must be paid extra (15€/hour).
- Bed linen and towels (€ 15 per person for each change in addition to the weekly change already included in the price).

The deposit will be refunded on departure provided that the house has not been damaged and is returned in order.

It is allowed to the host or the maintainer to enter for the maintenance of the installations.

We do not accept extra guests, compared to the number communicated.

Pure magic

This is the greatest holiday home I’ve ever stayed in. It was absolutely gorgeous with huge comfy rooms, a gorgeous view, and a magnificent pool. We had a few small issues but the property manager was incredibly helpful and responsive. This was one of the best vacations my family has ever had!

Greate house

Beautiful large house with a spectacular view! Just a few comments - Baby cots were faulty - A lot of barking from the neighbors dogs - No hot water in the kitchen - and it took a long time for hot water to come in the baths - There could well be more garden furniture around on the various terraces - That would be fine with multiple sets of gate openers and keys to the house

Amazing sunsets

Very large spacious villa and pool with amazing views especially sunsets.. Away from Alghero but close enough to visit. There were problems with getting some hot water, broken toilet seats leaking air conditioning onto floor, flooding showers due to clogged drains, erratic gate opening and poor quality crockery. These are not things you would expect from such an expensive villa. But despite these minor inconveniences it was a very enjoyable stay.

Beautiful house with panoramic sea view

The house is very large, comfortable and nicely decorated. Panoramic sea view. The bedrooms are spacious, each with a nice bathroom. There is air conditioning in every room, hall and kitchen. There are 2 fridges in the kitchen, which is very convenient. The only small minus is in my opinion - too few dishes - glasses, shot glasses, bowls for cereals with milk, coffee cups, platters. The pool is very large and was a great joy for all. The house is located a few kilometers from Alghero, surrounded by nature. A car is necessary, but we loved this location. We had a great holiday.

Wonderful Views Villa

Wonderful Views of hills & sea, fantastic pool, quiet rural location. Lots of rooms with of bathrooms to match & lots of terrace space for the evenings. A couple of areas for improvement: it could do with a little more pro-active maintenance (lights, bathroom locks, etc) - we did have an issue with the pool lights tripping out but they were onsite the very next day to fix them. The garbage disposal system is a challenge as you are expected to sort it all & then take it all into town, a 15min drive away & we spent an hour looking for a collection point without success as the one they advised was no longer there. The WIFI could also be better & the kitchen could do with a de-clutter as it has a lot of stuff piled into drawers, etc. Upon arrival, we were surprised to learn that they took an electric meter reading & said that we would be charged for it's use over & above the rental price due to previous people taking advantage of the air conditioning & running it day & night. Fortunately, we were able to minimise the use of this & there was no charge for this at the end of the rental period. The local owner, Joseph, was excellent & very responsive to all our contact & facilitated a very welcome earlier check-in (early flight). However, the booking agent, prior to the trip, did take a number of days to respond to queries - citing that it was their busiest time of the season (of course). These minor issues did not detract from what was a very enjoyable stay in a high end Villa !

Thank you for the nice review Mr. Clive, we are really glad you had a nice holiday. We will always be happy to have you as a welcome guest. Personally, I understand the inconvenience of separate waste collection, but in Sardinia we follow the rules indicated by the municipality, which indicates precise times and locations for recycling rubbish. Therefore, the link was correct, but the time you went was wrong. With regard to the kitchen, it is equipped with everything necessary for cooking, as we prefer to add rather than remove utensils. Regarding electricity, it is clearly stated that it is charged at 0.40€kwh so that there is no unnecessary waste, and this also serves to make people aware of the real cost of electricity which has increased dramatically. Finally, regarding my answer, which was not immediate, it can sometimes happen that I may answer not immediately, especially in high season and especially if I had already answered the same question about the impossibility to do an early check-in. We try to help our customers, when possible, by anticipating check-in and postponing check-out, but this is not possible in high season due to the short time between arrivals and the professional handling of cleaning staff. Nice Villa stunning views

Very nice villa - hospitality very good. Located a little out of the main town so you need a car to drive to the beach and for food. Overall a fantastic holiday great part of the world :-)

Dejligt sted...

Super lækkert hus, med masser af plads til 10 personer, dejligt pool område med stor pool, toiletter på alle 5 værelser. Fantastisk udsigt udover Alghero fra terrassen og generelt dejlige udeområder. Lille minus er at der kun er spise bords møbler på en terasse, så borde skulle flyttes mellem terasserne!

Magnificent Location and Views with a few flaws

The location of the house and the views from the different rooms are spectacular. The house is set in a really nice garden (which has a park-like feel to it) and the giant infinity pool was one of the biggest and nicest we have had so far. Also, a big plus is the fact that each bedroom has its own bathroom with shower and from 3 of the 5 bedrooms you can directly access the veranda and pool area. There are also multiple options to eat outside, each with a stunning view! Communication with the rental agency was easy, although they do not seem to be located directly in Sardinia. The local contact spoke okay English. Unfortunately, there were a few downsides. When we arrived, one of the rooms we had counted on was not prepared to due water leakage, which we had not been informed of before our arrival. A maid came by to set up the room the next morning. Also, the water went off 1.5 days before our departure (couldn't be fully fixed, we were without water for our departure). The house itself is nice (mainly due to its amazing location and its size), but not stunning as there are some rather minor but obvious construction flaws (e.g. small plastic pipes sticking out of the wall, electricity went out twice, no railing available for stairs). Just something we did not expect for this price tag.

You has been the first guest of the season and unfortunately at the beginning of April we have had a very bad weather in Sardinia, and because of the storm the electricity went off twice, but this was a Municipality problem not related to our property. Anyway also if outside was very cold the house inside was hot because of the good heater system and you have had problem with one room only one night. Please accept our apologies. The stay was perfect. A beautiful place and wonderful accomodation

The Villa is amazing, spacious and the infinity pool is beautiful. We loved the BBQ's looking out over the Med. Maria was helpful but Guiseppi was the local contact and he was just brilliant. He gave us a guide of the villa and made sure we were o.k. for the stay. Alghero is lovely and the beaches are wonderful.

Beautiful idyllic setting

The house and garden were much better than the description on the site. The view is simply stunning and relaxing and the breeze is always fresh. What a beautiful place. The house was beautifully decorated and the thick walls kept the hear out, and the pool with fantastic views and the garden with the flowers were magical! The location is perfect, close to the town of Alghero but far away from the crowd, only few min drive to get to all these marvelous Sardinian villages but very quiet. The owners were very nice and helpful but also discreet. We love this place. We wil recommend it to all our friends but we will also go back there in the near future. Thanks Maria.

Great family holiday

We were a family of my wife and I . three sons and partners , 3 grandchildren and our daughter in law's mum. We had a great time. Roomy villa on two floors in great position overlookng valleys and the sea beyond. View as described in info. Plenty of space for sitting inside or on several terraces. I think we were first of the season so the villa took a couple of days to warm up - it was very cold at first. the fifth bedroom only used for four nights was dark with no outside window and the sofa bed uncomfortable - all the other bedrooms were fine. We had fabulous pizzas from the outside pizza oven but it needs a fair amount of wood to get going - you may need to get driftwood at the start of your holiday. the kitchen was large with almost all you need. It needs a few more mugs and a second coffee machine for larger groups. We all got round the dining table. a cot and high chair were provided. the swimming pool is fabulous but probably was too cold to get value (150 euros extra) in Mar and April though grandson went in three times. We would have liked an information portfolio about the property on site, on how to use the heaters, advice on pizza oven etc and what to see nearby. Being out of season, roads were quiet and beaches often empty. Most sites were open and restaurants could always be found though some were still closed for the winter. Overall a great visit enjoyed by all. thank you.

I'm so happy that you have had such a great time, and was a pity that at the beginning of March weather was quite cold. Fortunately the house is full conditioned (hot/cold) and so you could stay warm even if it was cold outside. Thanks for the advice regarding coffe machine and mugs, right now I'm personally going to buy more stuff for the kitchen. Regarding the last bedroom, actually you were such a large group of people (14) and our house is settled for max 12 people. For this reason we had to open the extra bedroom that face on the second living room and is specially made for extra people. Our greatest concern is that customers feel comfortable, so we're happy to read your review and roll up our sleeves to get our service always better. Perfekter Sonnenuntergang auf der Terrasse

Alles in Allem ist die Villa so wie beschrieben. Also wirklich eine wunderschöne Unterkunft. Fast perfekt, bis auf ein paar Kleinigkeiten. Am Pool waren leider zu wenig Liegen und die die es gab waren leider sehr billig. Es gab nur einen Sonnenschirm, jedoch wurde nach ein paar Tagen ein weiterer aufgestellt. Bei den Schlafzimmern gibt es leider wirklich ein Thema, welches man schon vorher wissen sollte. Es gibt: - Zwei wunderschöne Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett und großer Terrassentür. - Ein Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett, aber mit kaum Licht von außen. - Ein Schlafzimmer mit 2 Einzelbetten, aber mit Terrassentür und genügend Licht. Die Einzelbetten sind leider so gebaut das man sie kaum als Doppelbett zusammenschieben kann. - Ein sehr kleines Schlafzimmer ohne richtigem Fenster. Für Kids oder Jugendliche geht das noch irgendwie, aber als Erwachsener würde ich mir dieses Zimmer nicht gefallen lassen. Wenn zb. 5 Pärchen gemeinsam die Villa buchen wird dies mit Sicherheit ein Problem sein. Ansonsten war der Kontakt sehr nett. Es wurde immer rasch geantwortet und alle sind sehr bemüht.

Magnifique

Villa Magnifique avec tout le confort, piscine et jardin juste splendide et une vue unique sur le Capocaccia.....très proche de Alghero, idéalement située. La villa a 5 chambres avec chacune sa propre salle de bain, et dressing: 3 très belles chambres avec vue mer et piscine, 1 chambre très bien mais sans vue et une dernière chambre un peu moins bien car il y a un canapé lit et pas vraiment de fenêtre, idéal pour des enfants. Super accueil et conseils de la part de Guiseppe!!!!! Merci nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances.

Sehr schönes Haus

Die Villa ist so schön wie auf den Bildern hier auf Fewo-direkt. Die Lage ist Top, ca 15 Min. von der Altstadt Alghero welche ein Besuch wert ist. Wir waren die ersten im Haus seit September daher war wohl für Kleinigkeiten eine gewisse Anlaufzeit nötig ( 5 x Stromausfall, kühle Räume und ein defekter Warmwasserheizer welcher jedoch Zeitnah ersetzt wurde). Bei Fragen oder Problemen konnten wir jederzeit den Host- Vertreter kontaktieren welcher sich gewissenhaft und zügig um unsere Anliegen gekümmert hat (Riesen Pluspunkt). Die Küche ist mit allem nötigen ausgestattet und verfügt sogar über 2 Kühlschränke mit Gefrierfach. Auf der Tollen Terrasse konnten wir wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge geniessen. Der Pool ist sehr grosszügig und sauber. Von den 5 Zimmer sind zwei sehr grosszügig, hell und mit Pool/ Meersicht. Zwei Zimmer haben leider fast kein Tageslicht und in einem dieser zwei steht nur ein Klappbett zur Verfügung. Im letzten Zimmer sind zwei einzelbetten, welche jedoch zusammen geschoben werden können. Jedes Schlafzimmer verfügt über ein neues Badezimmer mit Dusche und WC.

Dear Mirjam, Thanks a lot for your message. I'm happy that you liked the house. I know you was the first arrival of the season, and this huge, beautiful house need time to run properly. We have fixed the problem with one of the 5 water heater. Please feel free to come again and I will personally do a discount for your inconvenience. We set up bedrooms as per your request, but usually we have 5 bedrooms with double beds inside. It has been a pleasure have you like hosts! Hope see you again dear.
