The host was very nice and met us at the property. She gave us a tour of the apartment and explained everything for us. She also provided some good snacks made by her mother and a bottle of wine. The location is perfect for visiting Cortana and many other small towns in the area. We had a wonderful time during our stay.

We loved staying in Fratticciola. The apartment was perfect for us (a couple). Many places outside in the beautiful garden to sit. The owner was very friendly and chatted to me in my broken Italian. The village was quiet- the best sleeps we have had in a long time. Would gladly stay again at this location! I was sad to leave here.

We had a wonderful time during our holiday at Casina del Bibo! Anna Maria and Lorella gave us a warm welcome, they surprised us with wine, fresh fruits and lots of local products. The appartment was very clean and comfortable, the airconditioning worked perfectly and there were mosquito screens installed in most of the windows. The location of the appartment is ideal. We went to a lot of different cities like Arezzo, Siena, Montepulciano and Perugia during our stay of 14 days. The town of Cortona, which is 15 minutes by car, was very nice to visit for a few times. The appartment is in an a quiet village, but many facilities like a supermarket and restaurants are close by. Our stay at Casina del Bibo surpassed our expectations and we would recommend it to anyone who wants a comfortable quiet place to enjoy their holiday, but who also likes to explore the surrounding towns and countryside.

This was a beautiful property in a small classic Tuscany town. Everything about the apartment was charming, as was the garden on the grounds. The kitchen and bathroom are small but efficient and we had no trouble when making our own dinner with ingredients bought from the Coop grocery store (a 10 minute drive). The location was perfect for our day trips to Cortona and Lake Trasimeno. But it was truly the hospitality of the hosts that made it so special for us. We were greeted with their own vintage of red wine, home-made cantucci, and bruschetta. The host was so friendly and made our stay absolutely wonderful. Would highly recommend.

This was a perfect stay. Picturesque location, close to Cortona and wineries and shops- we even walked to one of them. Best of all though was the kindness of the host who left us wine, salad, bruschette and cantucci. We would LOVE to come back one day!

Tuscan getaway

Our stay at Casina del Bibo was perfect and an ideal location to discover the beautiful countryside of Cortona.The house was rustic and charming and our hosts included some of their homemade wines for us too.

It was an enchanting whole apartment typical rustic Tuscany/Umbria…if you are Aussie and in Italy for a while and cooking for yourselves you might want to buy a set of tongs and a spatula. Fraticciola is a short drive to Cortona Conad a huge shopping centre where you can buy everything…there is a large fridge/freezer, 4 burner gas stove, washing machine..the hosts are lovely and very kind..hose outside to clean the car…we spent a week and used it as a base to visit Siena, Perugia, Orvieto, Assisi, Arezzo…highly recommend! Exactly what we were looking for

The place is clean, charming and cozy. We were met with vin santo, cookies and bruschetta. They have guide books which really helped us out and we had a fun time choosing which room to sleep in. Very relaxing stay.

Fantastic stay in Tuscany

This is a charming house in a small town outside Cortona. Easily located near all the things you would want to see in the area. The host treated us like family and had homemade treats and wine waiting for our arrival. The house is perfectly suited for 4 people to stay and had a lot of charm. If you are looking to escape the hustle of daily life and relax this is the perfect location.

Perfectly located home base for Tuscany.

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The house and its surroundings are absolutely beautiful—peaceful, well-maintained, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hosts were truly wonderful and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Their attention to detail and hospitality really made a difference.The location is also very convenient, with a grocery store just a short walk away that’s well-stocked with all the essentials. While the bathrooms are on the smaller side, it wasn’t a problem for us and everything else more than made up for it.Highly recommended—we’d love to come back!

Just a wonderful stay and host

We enjoyed the serene and beautiful landscape around us. We didn’t rent a car so just relaxed in our beautiful apartment and walked the trails and shopped the local grocery who had so much great produce and food. Lorella and her mother were wonderful and so kind. They had Tuscan snacks and wine on our arrival and even surprise treats. I highly recommend staying here.

Lorella and Anna Maria were wonderful! They had a small platter and bottle of wine on the table waiting for us at check in. The apartment was cozy and had everything we needed. It was close to Cortona and all that Tuscany has to offer!
