The building and the appartement need some refurbishment. Details among others: only three glasses (one was broken and useless) for a rental flat which is supposed to accommodate 5 people….

Disappointing stay

On the positive side the unit is spacious, WI-FI works very well and there are markets very close by. Negatives: the online checking was arduous, it took 3 days for one of my group to be able to check in and the numerous texts and even phone calls were ignored to the point that I was very upset and concerned. Communication with Host left a lot to be desired. The dining room chairs had no covers, in one bedroom, the 2 night lights did not work, beds need to be replaced, the coffee maker handle comes loose, lighter to light gas stove had no juice (had to go to market to buy one in order to have coffee in the apartment!), only 1 coffee mug, the others were espresso size and the tub backs up.

Excellent Location, Large Apartment, Great Price!

This apartment is in a perfect location and the check-in process was easy and quick! It's located in a quiet neighborhood, but only steps away from restaurants, shopping, the metro and the waterfront. The beds were super comfortable, the wifi worked excellent, the kitchen was well appointed and the property manager was quick to respond to several issues we had. I would recommend a new hot water heating pot - one is losing its coating inside and the other only works periodically. In addition, the shower head holder does not stay up unless at the highest setting - it should be repaired. We stayed in the property 19 days and the only thing that was bothersome was the building occupants were sometimes loud above us. It's an older building and wood floors above, so we heard every movement of people and furniture. In addition, to some loud voices, but that is a small complaint for a great property. We would definitely stay again!

Very good apartment

The apartment is confortable, clean, nice furnitures and decoration. It has a good location, close to the Port, the Rambla, the metro. Very close by, you can find a grocery store and cafe restaurant. A parking is near the apartment. You have to leave the car inside. Be careful if you leave your car outside. I left my car outside for a few minutes in the morning. I didn't see the machine to pay for the place for less than 2 hours and the municipal pound (grua) took my car. It costs me more than 200 euros. So you can leave your car in the parking, it will cost 36 euros for 3 days if you leave your car, and go to the desk(not at the machine, it is more expensive). The apartment is very nice. You can warn the tourists about the municipal pound (grua) in Barcelona, which takes your car very quickly,if you are in a green zone ,

Very unhappy and disappointed with his apartment.

Not much. Very disappointed with the overall quality of the apartment. Very unhappy and dissatisfied with this apartment. The small room by the entrance smelled so much like cigarettes that we had to keep the door closed for the whole stay and could not use it. The balcony door was broken and would not lock, which was especially unsafe for my young daughter who could easily open it and be in the balcony unattended. There is a coffee table in the living room whose top very heavy glass was loose, making it also really unsafe, especially for children. Chairs were old and stained. Baby chairs were also old and presenting food stains. The overall state of the apartment is very old and no room was properly clean. The kitchen was missing essential appliances and utensils, let alone that many of the plates and cutlery were dirty from previous guests. The WiFi stopped working one day before our stay ended and would not be fixed in time before we left. So again, I’m very unhappy and disappointed that we chose to stay in this apartment which made our Christmas 2024 not a happy memory as we expected.

Adequate Lodgings near La Rambla

Pros --Neighborhood was quiet, 10 minute walk from La Rambla (shopping/restaurants). --Small supermarket next door --A number of restaurants on the same street --Great communication from property manager and easy access to property Cons Neighborhood had many closed store fonts with lots of graffiti. We never felt unsafe, but the ambiance was low. --Apartment was extremely hot when we checked in. It took 12 hours to completely cool the apartment to a tolerable level. --Main bed was very small for two people. Kitchen furnishings were at the lower end. No soap or shampoo provided. Shower nozzle was broken from wall, although they fixed it on last day. Rear patio door would not lock (we were on 6th floor, so not overly concerned someone would enter the apartment, but you never know.) I believe they have since fixed the door. We were told that we "must be quiet" during our entire stay, which is fine since we were just a couple. But the joke is that a child on the floor above us cried or ran around all during the day making all kinds of noise. But he did sleep well at night! Overall, we had a good time. But this apartment was more in the "acceptable" range, well below what we expected after ready other reviews.

Spacious and Comfortable

This is my first time visiting Barcelona. I highly recommend this apartment. Extra space for family, close to many sights, yet quiet and peaceful. Great staff that helped with "to do" suggestions.

Spacieux appartement très proche du centre-ville

Cet appartement situé Vila i vila 19 au 6ème étage d'un bel immeuble est près pratique d'accès, soit depuis la gare de Barcelona Sants ou de l'aéroport par le métro automatique ligne 9 qui permet en suite d'arriver à la station Paral-lel du métro (ligne 2). Pour info, le billet aéroport/métro coûte 4,50 € (par personne), ce qui est nettement moins cher qu'un taxi (environ 20 €) quand on a pas trop de bagages. Bien accueillis à notre arrivée, nous avons pu apprécier le calme de la rue, tout en ayant un balcon de petite superficie mais permettant d'avoir une vue directe sur la mer et la place Colomb. Sur ce point, c'est dommage de ne pas avoir mis une petite table pour pouvoir s'asseoir dehors. L'équipement est excellent, sauf que la TV ne comporte aucune chaîne française, mais la bonne qualité de la liaison internet permet d'accéder efficacement à des contenus en streaming via une tablette ou un ordi portable. Depuis l'appartement, on rejoint à pied très rapidement La Rambla, Port Vell et aussi les plages à pied via Barceloneta. Très pratique. On peut aussi rejoindre le parc Montjuic en prenant le téléphérique depuis la station de métro Paral-lel à dix minutes à pied de l'appart. De nombreux commerces sont à proximité vraiment réduite, dont un magasin Lidl très bien approvisionné. Le seul petit point à signaler (c'est pour l'agence) serait au moins de mettre à disposition des arrivants une bouteille d'eau au frigo. On aurait même pu espérer une bouteille de vin espagnol en cadeau d'arrivée. C'est une attention dont nous avons souvent pu profiter dans d'autres locations via Homelidays.
