We're certain you'll love this charming 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom villa which has a spacious interior and lawned garden, with superb views over the Algarvean countryside and the ocean. Villa Paraiso is close to the centre of Montechoro and the busy road of Oura ( the stip ) and neighbouring resorts of Albufeira, Praia D'Oura and Olhos D'Agua are all within a short drive. A choice of restaurants to eat are easily reached on foot . Villa Paraiso is ideal for small or large groups alike and has WIFI and court tenis included so you can get more out of your holiday.

Villa Paraiso is a delightful 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom villa with a private swimming pool surrounded by an outdoor space . There is a brick BBQ complimenting a table and chairs on the shaded terrace for enjoying an alfresco meal. The gardens are also fully bordered by hedging and fencing to ensure a good deal of privacy.

Living space

From the entrance hall, the spacious open plan lounge and dining area is ahead, with comfortable seating, a stylish feature fireplace ( firewood not supplied )and a dining table and chairs. The fully equipped kitchen is adjacent which has sleek wooden units, plenty of work top space and a breakfast table. Patio doors from the lounge/dining area open onto the partially shaded pool terrace and garden.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

On the right of the hall is 1 twin bedroom, and one double bedroom.
A separate WC completes the ground floor.
Upstairs, Villa Paraiso has a twin bedroom and a double bedroom, each with an en suite shower room and patio doors onto a terrace where you can enjoy the views over the extensive surrounding countryside and the Ocean.

Excellent place to call home away from home.

We just loved this hilltop villa. The location was perfect. So nice & quiet. We could easily access main roads & do day trips along the Algarve. The outdoor bbq & pool were definitely the favorites. The inside space was great for 8 people. Lots of room to spread out. The driveway gate was a little tricky, but we managed it. Communication with the property manager was excellent.

Family holiday

Property was very big with all facilities needed. We rented a car and found the location great for exploring the area. However No aircon made sleeping a bit uncomfortable. We tried windows open was then faced with mosquitoes biting all night and noises from barking dogs and a cockerel in next doors garden through the night. None of the adults in our party slept well.😏 I would recommend packing mosquito nets and earplugs.. Meat and drinks from the local supermarkets on the bbq was nice sitting by the pool watching the sun set.

Early season stay

Prachtig groot huis, en mooie tuin met prive-zwembad. Het huis aan de overkant van dezelfde straat heeft een tennisbaan waar je gebruik van kunt maken.Over het algemeen waren wij zeer tevreden. Wij waren er 12 nachten en halverwege werden de bedden en handdoeken verschoond.Een aantal punten van aandacht:-Je hebt wel een auto nodig om naar het centrum te gaan, en ben je er in echt hoogseizoen, kan parkeren weleens lastig zijn.-Huis en zwembad zijn onverwarmd. Wij waren er net te vroeg, vanaf half mei is het denk ik al een stuk lekkerder.Wij hadden de indruk dat wij de eerste huurders van het seizoen waren. Daardoor:-rook het nog muf in de voor-/zitkamer alwaar banken staan met dekens erover. Voor een zomervakantie is dat niet de plek waar je wilt zitten, en dat hoeft ook niet, zo groot is het huis!-Op de avond van aankomst kwam er eerst bruin water uit alle leidingen; na enkele minuten laten doorlopen is het water helder gebleven gedurende de vakantie en het water kan ook dusdanig heet worden vanuit een boiler, dat we met alle kranen aan legionellapreventie hebben gedaan.-In de bijkeuken, alwaar de wasmachine staat, hing een scherpe schimmellucht komende uit het wasmiddelbakje.Bovenstaande punten hadden voorkomen kunnen worden met goed onderhoud.Er lag geen enkel stofdeeltje in huis, het oogt dus heel schoon, maar de tegelvloer is wel wat plakkerig aan je blote voeten.

Heel mooi, comfortabel en groot huis

Heel fijn huis met terrassen voor een gezin. Met zijn zessen geweest Zwembad was ook heel fijn. Huis was schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Tennisbaan was bij de buren (hotel) 2 huizen verderop, maar hebben we geen gebruik van gemaakt Overal erg dichtbij zodat we niet veel met de auto gereden hebben Paar kleine dingetjes die nog nagekeken moesten worden zoals een terrasdeur van de slaapkamer die niet goed te openen was en een douchekop die het niet goed deed. Echter over het geheel genomen een heel erg fijn huis. Uitzicht over Albufeira en de oceaan is ook heel erg mooi!

Claudia and David the property managers were great to deal with but the house is in need of some upgrades. No heating except small space heater and fireplace which when it is damp and cold does not work to warm the house up. The dryer would pop the breaker if you ran the dishwasher at the same time and the dishwasher needs to be upgraded as the silverware does not stay in basket handle to open it is broken and the rollers for bottom tray gone as well. The main concern tho was the fact that there were no smoke detectors in the whole house, i am guessing this is because of the wood stoves smoking upon lighting. Also the listing shows a tennis court which is actually on the property on the other side of the street which is owned by the same person. We could not use this as we would of had to disturb the owner who had a lot of company. Great location and a shame that they built this place with no heating or hvac. Other than trying to get warm until the weather warmed up some and trying to get things dry the house is nice.

property was neglected. pictures not updated. no mention on listing that we had to buy firewood for the fireplaces. No instructions on how to operate fireplaces. BBQ not clean, bird poop all over the outside. toilet tank leaking, pots and pans filthy dryer filter filthy, possible fire hazard. property should not be rented during winter months as it is not heated and the heater that is listed is useless. Managers shocked that it was rented out and eventually offered us another villa. very disappointing, didn’t stay in Portugal but paid all of our stay. Requested a credit,but not forthcoming.

Very nice

We had a lovely experience at Vila Paraiso. Owner David was very nice, the place is very big. We loved that every room had it's own bathroom and toilet. The outside area is also very nice: a lot of sun, the water is cool and the terrace is nicely placed out of the wind. The area is quiet, but the vibrant town of Albufeira is a 8 minute Uber-ride away (very cheap!). Definitely a high recommendation!

Passámos uma excelente semana. A casa é super espaçosa com áreas mto generosas para 2 famílias com crianças. A área da piscina é bastante agradável. A televisão devia ser maior e com melhor imagem dado o tamanho da sala. De destacar o anfitrião sr. David que, numa escala de 0 a 20,merece nota 20. Foi inexcedível respondendo na hora a todos os pedidos que fizemos e deslocando-se várias vezes à propriedade. O melhor anfitrião que alguma vez tivemos.

Falta de manutenção

O maior problema desta casa está no facto de não ter ar condicionado, pois a casa é extremamente quente, a falta de manutenção da casa é gritante, lâmpadas fundidas, tomadas que não trabalham entre outras coisas…o frigorífico é muito pequeno para uma casa que comporta até 8 pessoas, em resumo uma experiência a não repetir…

Eine sehr schöne Villa mit viel Platz! Die Lage ,etwas Abseits vom Hauptgeschehen Albufeira's, ist ideal um Ruhe zu genießen. Man benötigt zwar eine Mietwagen, aber der ist schon bei Landung in Faro günstig zu bekommen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter David war hervorragend, dem wir an dieser Stelle nochmal herzlich danken wollen. Alles in allem ist diese Villa mit tollem Pool nur zu empfehlen! Sollten wir nochmals in diese Gegend kommen,werden wir nicht zögern diese Villa erneut zu buchen!

Large property, pretty location.

Late arrival due to our own poor navigation but check in easy. Lovely villa, much bigger than expected. Plenty of room for two families to share or separate if needed. Kitchen area with plenty of pots, pans cutlery etc, and nice bbq outside. Pool was cold as unheated but probably nice in summer months. Car needed due to location but still only 10 mins drive from shops and beach areas. Nice walking areas, ideal for finding firewood for cooler evenings. The neighbours do have a vocal cockerel/rooster but this didn't wake us. Bedrooms and bathrooms all big with lots of storage space. The whole setup was perfect for a homely holiday base, cozy evenings of games and a super game of hide and seek! Both David and Claudia really responsive to the one query we had and lovely to meet. We don't tend to holiday in the same place twice but would consider it for this property and location.

Amazing Villa with stunning views

Exceptional property, that exceeded all expectations. 4 big bedrooms, 3 ensuite! A wonderful open plan kitchen area with direct access to a sunny pool patio area with BBQ facilities. Quiet and rural location, but only a few mins from the beach . Our Villa manager David was so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for him . We loved the location, with a hire car easy to get to albufeira, just 5 mins to the beach. Overall, a brilliant place and an excellent location in the Algarve.

It is located between the fashionable Marina of Vilamoura and the lively town of Albufeira, both with fabulous beaches. The resort of Olhos d’Agua and Oura known as the Strip , with its wide selection of restaurants, bars and discos is within a 5 to 10 minutes drive.
