Comfortable 2 bedroom top-floor apartment, having an open-plan layout, with the views of the blue Mediterranean just below you. From inside the lounge area, the feeling one gets is of being on a cruise liner with the little boats down below. The name of the apartment is derived from the colour scheme that this lovely little home projects. In winter, when heavier linen is required, we also use zebra print sheets, and the result is quite magical and inviting.
Coral offers 2 bedrooms, with the main bedroom having a double bed, whereas the spare bedroom has 2 single beds (at the same time, the single beds can also be joined together to form another double bed, thus easily accommodating 2 couples. The main bedroom also has its own en suite bathroom. The bedroom also offers a back balcony where one can hang their washing, or even enjoy the morning sun.
The spare bedroom also has enjoys the morning sun as this streams into both bedrooms for most of the day; there are no other nearby buildings to the back of the bedrooms, meaning that one's privacy is practically guaranteed.
Coral also offers a well-equipped kitchen which is located adjacent to the combined dining and lounge areas. Whether you are watching TV, or entertaining yourselves, or even cooking away in the kitchen, the views of the blue sea are just metres away. The kitchen is also fully equipped with gas cooker, gas oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, etc.
A table with seating for 4 completes the open plan dining area which also forms part of the lounge area.
The lounge is also equipped with TV, cable TV reception and internet wifi. Beyond the lounge/dining area is a large and wide balcony which overlooks the seaviews of St. Paul’s Bay. The lounge is also equipped with a double sofabed and another single sofabed, thus allowing the apartment to host a maximum of 7 people (additional bed/s can also be added if required by a large group). Two armchairs also complete the lounge area. The balcony adjacent to the lounge area is also be equipped with chairs for our guests’ entertainment.
Coral is completed by the main bathroom (which also includes a washing machine),
One major attraction about Coral is that it also offers a private roof terrace with even more views, and this practically receives the sun for most of the day. This is equipped with sun-loungers, table and chairs, barbeque, floor mats, and equally important, expansive seaviews.
Coral is also fitted with 2 air conditioners, one in each of the two bedrooms, which can be used both for cooling and heating. At the same time, all other rooms are equipped with ceiling fans. In winter, a gas heater is provided for the cooler evenings.
Coral is located on the 3rd floor and is served with an elevator.

The hosts Paul and Josanne were excellent and very responsive. We did have a slight issue upon arrival and after a few calls and texts with Paul and Josanne we managed to get ourselves in to the property.
Our first impressions of the property was that it is dated, cold and not too many creature comforts. The kitchen definitely needs updating, knobs were falling off the cupboards and there was no fridge door handle, the oven definitely needs to be renewed, not the best kitchen for self catering but we made do.
The view you got from the living was amazing. It had big glass doors you could see right out to sea from the comfort of your seat, this is why you would book this property!
We arrived on a chilly day and the heater in the open plan kitchen, living, dining room was not strong enough to heat the size of the room. I contacted Josanne and within minutes she replied advising she would get us a bigger heater and the next morning we had one delivered along with a lovely hamper of prosecco and fabulous goodies, a lovely touch.
We love the sun and unfortunately the sun never arrived on the front balcony so we could never sit out there. The small back balcony got the sun until 12.30 and the roof terrace got the sun until 1.15pm. We were given the impression that the roof terrace got the sun all day, however it looks like a new tall building has been built since the photographs were taken and this now blocks the afternoon sun.
The apartment was nice and spacious and suited us for our 17 night stay.
The location of the property is really in the heart of things, with lots restaurants and shops right on the doorstep. Also there is a fabulous delivery service around as well so no trouble getting take outs, you can sit at the dining room table and enjoy your food with amazing views!
We wouldn't choose to stay in this property again in the winter but would consider it for a summer stay.

It was a pleasure having Keith and Fiona as our guests, and we wish to thank them for their review. Admittedly, the apartment is not 5-star, but while we continue to upgrade this to an even better standard, we continue to maintain our prices very competitive, proving to be less than other with the same facilities and views. In our introduction to the apartment, and the area, we always include that all of St. Paul's Bay and Bugibba are north facing, and so the sun can never reach the front balcony at this time of the year; thankfully Coral does have a back balcony, which not many other apartments can boast, where you manage to catch the sun for close to 6 hours a day during winter. The sun is obviously at its lowest at this time of the year, and so the roof also suffers marginally (we do not think that one would really want to be up on the roof in the late afternoon, because even if it's sunny, as it would still be cold at this time of the year). The doors to the balcony were recently replaced to allow our guests to enjoy the full view of the bay and harbour, and even if the sun does not reach the balcony, it certainly provides for a fantastic view below and beyond.
Coral continues to be a popular place, thankfully not only in summer, not only because of the views or the comfortable price tag it carries, but also because of the reviews we receive, and so we once again thank Keith and Fiona for putting in their views. It has been a rough 2 years when we hardly had any guests because of the pandemic and have slowly started to rebuild our business once again only as of late, but that did not mean that it stopped us from making the place even better. We will certainly look at the issues mentioned in the review and correct as many as possible. The cooker/oven has just been replaced with a new electrical one, making it easier for guests to use.

Quelques ventilateurs ne fonctionnaient pas mais Paul nous a dépanné d’un ventilateur sur pied.
Manque conséquent de prises, deux seulement ds le salon salle à manger dont une qui ne fonctionnait pas
Robinetterie fuyante , une des deux salle de bain avec peu de pression.

When we found out that one of the ceiling fans and the steam iron were not working, we immediately supplied you with new replacements on the same day; we would have also done likewise with the oven dish had you informed us. We are sorry to see that no mention is made of the views that the apartment offers, something which all other guests always mention in their reviews. Once again we thank you for staying with us.

Thank you for your kind review. Once again it was a pleasure having you as our guests. The apartment is about 10 to 15 minutes leisurely walk along the promenade to the piazza of Bugibba on one side, and another 5 minutes to St. Paul's Bay harbour on the other side. It is also just 7 minutes walk away from the main road where most of the shops are located, and so find Coral to be perfectly placed as it is in a prominent area with the best views, but at the same time, it is also in a quiet area (the piazza and the main road tend to get quite noisy, not only during the day, but can be particularly worrying at night). Once again, a big thank you.
Very nice apartment very clean. The hosts were very easy to talk to, and helped in anyway they could. Amazing scenery and beautiful sunsets. Would definitely recommend this place. We had a wonderful time.

Allt fungerade bra. Lätt att få kontakt med värden. Enda minuset att kaffemaskinen läckte vatten, påpekade detta för värden men fick ingen ny. Annars var allt jättebra. Värden fixade även bil som plockade upp oss på flygplatsen.

Me 3 friends stayed for music festival, Apartment was a good size with balcony looking out to the sea with amazing views. Also had a roof terrace with unbelievable views. Apartment wis big and spacious, very clean also, would deffo go back!

We had a problem with the lift (apartment on 3rd floor) on 4th day of our stay but quick call to Paul and problem solved later that day
Aircon in both bedrooms very welcome as daytime temps were around 32 degrees every day
Apartment ideally situated for walking to restaraunts and bars and for day trips from the harbour
Balcony perfect for before and after dinner drinks

Didn't really suit us.
There's nothing really wrong with the apartment: it's big, well located, the owners are friendly and helpful. We had a couple of problems. Firstly it's very cold in Winter; there's a gas fire, but it can't warm a tiled room that big with very poorly fitting patio doors. Secondly, you really don't want this apartment if you're at all serious about cooking! The oven doesn't work (though the hob is fine), the knives are really poor quality; it's even a struggle to make coffee, as the filter machine doesn't work and the stove top espresso maker doesn't have a handle: bit of a challenge to pick up without oven gloves! I'm sure other people will love this apartment, but it didn't really suit us.

We are sorry to hear that these guests had some issues but these were dealt with promptly. Winter is cold anywhere (and unfortunately the weather was anything but kind, with gale force winds, storms, and incessant rain, especially on coastal areas, such as the Coral apartment, during that particular week) and so the apartment is fitted with a gas heater in the lounge area, plus it is also equipped with 2 air conditioning units, with heat pumps, in each of the two bedrooms. The gas bottle did finish during the course of these guests' stay and although it is a fairly easy thing to swap one with a new one (already supplied in the apartment), the guest stated that they did not want to do this and so requested for us to visit them and have this done for them, something which was done without any problem. The oven does work, again, it takes a matchstick to operate this. There are several (three different ones) coffee machines, and so if one was broken (which it shouldn't have been), the guest could still use another.
We wish we knew earlier that the guests were unhappy because we could have easily transferred them over to one of our other apartments, but they made no claim for this during their stay. What the guests did however fail to mention was that they exceeded their electricity allowance (because they presumably used the air conditioning heating extensively) and which we did not charge them for, and also we kindly accepted their request to check-out very late afternoon instead of 10:00 am (again at no extra charge to them), even if this meant bringing in the cleaning girls (at an added expenses to us) after they left to have the apartment ready for the next guests later that evening.
It would have certainly been decent to have mentioned the extra perks we allowed these guests.
We have nevertheless taken note of the guests' review and will act on replacing the pot immediately.

Perfect location with a perfect view.
Myself and six friends stayed in this apartment, we were attending the lost & found festival so we needed to be close to cafe del mar for logistics. The apartment was central in St pauls bay with beautiful views. 10 minutes walk to bugibba square and 20 minutes walk to cafe del mar. Recommend this apartment if toy are looking to stay in the St pals bay area.

Fabulous Views and Great Hosts
Paul arranged a late night arrival including a pick up from the airport. His son met us at the apartment and showed us everything. They brought us another gas tank for the heater the next day as it was a bit chilly in the apartment. Everything worked well. The views were fantastic. The heaters worked great in the bedrooms. The apartment felt a bit small for our 5 people but everyone had a bed and we did not spend much time in the apartment. For the money we paid it was a superior value. Thanks
