Perfect for families, groups, couples or multiple families; located on a quiet lane in Historic Cape May. Beautifully decorated and comfortable 3 story single family home w/ 3 bedrooms and 2 baths plus outdoor shower, located on a quiet lane in historic Cape May. Sleeps 12- 2 kings, 1 queen, 2 twins with trundles and pullout queen couch. Perfect for large families, groups, couples or multiple families. Be together in the large eat in kitchen or living room yet still have lots of privacy with three floors accessed by spiral staircases. Perfect beach get away, watch the birds in the gardens or cuddle with a good book. Plenty of activities for everyone!

Golf Lane is surrounded by lush gardens and is wonderfully tucked away from the hustle and bustle. It is a quiet retreat and private oasis allowing you to relax on the porch listening to your favorite music, read a book or listen to the birds' songs. It is close to all the activities but is also very private and relaxing.

Fully appointed kitchen; newly renovated kitchen and baths with marble countertops, stainless steel appliances and hardwood floors. Air-conditioning throughout, HD Flat Screen TVs in all bedrooms, high speed Internet and basic cable. Full sized washer and dryer on the first floor.

Cozy up and relax in the fall and winter by the gas fireplace in the living room on first floor. Beautiful outdoor space off living room with access to parking area. Off street parking available and plenty of free on street parking.

Large comfortable bedrooms are located on each floor and accessible by beautiful spiral staircases. Each bedroom has ceilings fans in addition to the AC. Bed linens and towels are not provided. Sleeps 12- 2 kings, 1 queen, 2 twin daybeds with trundle and pullout queen couch.

French doors lead from the eat in kitchen to the first of two outdoor decks/porches for relaxing and enjoying spring, summer and fall evenings, meals and cocktails.

We are centrally located and a short easy walk to the Promenade, Madison beach #9 and walking mall. Stroll, shop and watch the sunsets in beautiful Cape May. We are a block from basketball courts, tennis courts and two playgrounds plus the dog park is only 4 blocks away.

Whether with family or friends you'll enjoy biking to town for ice cream, or out to Sunset Beach for the sunsets and gathering together for many wonderful meals both at home and out. It is the perfect oasis after a day on the beach or sight seeing around town!

We really enjoyed our stay at this house! It had everything we needed: plenty of space, comfortable beds, a quiet neighborhood, a great kitchen, and plenty of authentic nautical-themed décor. And the owners are very nice and responsive!

Beautiful home easily accommodated our family of six. Lots of privacy and plenty of room for all to gather. Short walk and even quicker ride to the beach and access to a well stocked beach box. Great vacation spot!

This property is one of the coolest places to stay in Cape May. The rustic, nautical decor is awesome. The beach is a bit of a hike so we drove but there was plenty of street parking.

Family vacation

This property was perfect for our family vacation. It was spacious and comfortable! My niece was so excited to take the top floor for herself and we loved the spiral staircase! The owner is easy to communicate with and was able to respond quickly. The beach box and tags were a great addition! Loved staying at this house!

Beautiful and comfortable home, great location, quiet and secluded lane

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Everything was clearly communicated and there were no surprises. We loved spending time on the beautiful deck overlooking a quiet lane surrounded by trees and green. Loved how secluded the house felt. We walked to the beach each day thanks to the beach box which allowed us to leave beach chairs and umbrellas there. Super comfortable!

Great place near the beach

Jackie was a wonderful host and we really appreciated all her help and suggestions. Box at the beach was also very useful in storing items for everyday trips. Only thing that made us give 4 stars was the spiral which was difficult for us to go up and down, especially for my elderly mother. Other than that, house is as advertised and good place to relax near the beach.

Simply Wonderful!!!!!

Thank you to Jackie and family for offering their lovely home! The house was more quaint that we expected, in a good way of course. The bedrooms had plenty of room and storage space. The kitchen was well-equipped with all new appliances, pots, pans etc. - everything we needed. Owners recommended bikes for the week which we did and they were great to go back and forth to the beach. The box on the beach was super convenient and definitely one of our highlights - so thank you! Nothing worse then lugging stuff back and forth everyday, so the beach box was great. The place was clean and neat and had everything promised. And the owners checked in and were nearby if we needed anything (which we didn;t!). I would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Stay

This unique and wonderful house was perfect for our family. It is in a quiet neighborhood located close to the beach and the Washington Street Mall by biking or walking. The house was very clean and well-appointed with very comfortable beds. The kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed along with a nice, large outdoor grill that worked great We cooked dinner every night and enjoyed eating on the 2nd floor deck. A bonus: there is an outdoor fan on the porch which was great to use during the day and in the evening. The property is well maintained with beautiful flowers and lighting. There is also a beach box with chairs and umbrellas which was such an added convenience. The owner was very responsive and helpful. They also provide paper towels, toilet paper, sponges, dish towels and dish soap to start off your vacation which is a nice touch. We would highly recommend this property and would stay here again. We had a wonderful vacation in this home.

Charming, Clean, and Surprisingly Spacious

When I first booked this house, I was worried that it would be a tight fit for all of us for a week’s stay. Our group included me and my husband, our 4 young adult children and 2 of their friends. We were happily surprised with the unique layout of this property, which boasts a fantastic outdoor deck where we ate dinner most nights, and also a lovely open kitchen with plenty of seating for the 8 of us. The house is charmingly decorated (one of my kids said, “it feels like we’re on a ship!”) and well appointed. We also appreciated the additional cleaning procedures that the owner took to ensure our safety and health concerns during COVID-19. The house is tucked away on a super tiny quiet street in a pleasant neighborhood that is a 15 minute walk to the beach (beach box was great!) and a 10 minute walk to the pedestrian mall. Would definitely book here again!

Wonderful home in Cape May!

My husband, daughter, son and I really loved this house! It was very clean, beautifully decorated, outfitted with so many conveniences (dishes, cooking pots, utensils, beds, beach box), and in a nice quiet location. Jackie was very responsive, but we really didn't need to bother her much because everything was so well-managed! The house had a great design for us, too - my son had his own room on the 3rd floor, my husband and I had a nice room on the 2nd floor and shared a bathroom with our son, and our daughter had the 1st floor bedroom and bathroom, as well as the living space there for working remotely while she spent the weeks at the beach with us. Perfect! We did find a nice spot to put in our kayaks, FYI: Across the street from the Nature Center of Cape May, there's a ramp that gives you access to Cape May Harbor. You can rent kayaks and SUPs from Aqua Trails Kayaking at that same spot. We did also launch from behind Lucky Bones near Miss Chris Marina - that got us into Cape Island Creek, or you can gain access to the Cape May Canal.

Charming Cape May Getaway

My wife and I and four teenage boys (two of ours and two nephews) had a fantastic time at this unique property. It must have been a barn or something in a past life, but the owners have redone it and turned it into a very cool non-traditional house with two porches and a spiral staircase. The youngest two boys took over the bedroom at the top of the house, which they loved as it felt like they were up in some kind of hideaway. The older teens took the downstairs and spread themselves out across a bedroom and a sitting room with a fold out couch plus they had their own bathroom. We rented bikes and rode to the beach in about 5 minutes. I walked one day and it took me 15 minutes from the kitchen to our place on the sand. Town and shops are less than a half a mile away for easy shopping for food and wine/beer. The owners were super responsive and clearly professional at this. The place was immaculate and specially cleaned for COVID-19. Kitchen is great if you love to cook. They have a huge selection of iron skillets and there is a great grill on the deck outside. A+ place!

Perfect for our family gathering

We just returned from a lovely week in Cape May on Golf Ln. It's a quiet almost-alley street, so little-to-no street noise and wonderful privacy. When we weren't at the beach, we spent much of our time on the upstairs outside deck, although there is also seating downstairs in the shade too! The house design is unique and includes a spiral staircase on the inside that connects all three floors. The ground and second floors are also connected by an outdoor staircase that we used more than the inside one, especially for bringing in luggage and groceries (the kitchen is on the second floor). My father-in-law was originally skeptical of the beach box, but after being there a week and not having to carry chairs and umbrellas and gear back and forth, I'm not sure he will ever let us get a house without a beach box, in the future. The walk to the beach was just about at the limit for our 9, 6, 6, and 5 year olds, so any younger might need a wagon or stroller and/or have someone be willing to drive to the beach. We walked most days, but as they got more tired towards the end of the week, we did drive one or two times. There is free parking along Madison within 2 blocks of the beach, which got us closer. One final thing that we liked were the individual AC units in various parts of the house. This allowed those who wanted it cooler to adjust their own temperatures, without everyone in the house needing to agree on a common temp.

Wonderful Private Hideaway!

I drove by this property last year and said to myself-that's where I want to stay next year and the universe came through for me when I checked VRBO! Jackie was a fabulous host and very responsive. We loved the property and especially enjoyed the outdoor porch space, and we ate at the property more than eating out because of this beautiful useful space and the grill! We also ended up hosting a couple family members for a visit with the extra bedroom, so that was a plus. The washer/dryer made life easy as well! We are looking forward to our return visit!
