Fun location overlooking a plaza near the Vatican. Great for wandering St. Peter's plaza in the evening. Not far from the metro and food options. We needed the pull out beds which turned out to be pretty worn and saggy. The regular beds were fine. Hot water is finicky and one shower is quite tiny. Appreciated the smooth vintage elevator to this upper floor apartment.

We arrived from America and so we’re not familiar with the building number and address system here. That was a little bit confusing in the beginning. Maybe just lost in translation? A very nice priest helped us find which building to enter (God always provides)-and once I understood the very clear instructions, it was so easy. The only negative thing I would say is at one point the outer wood door got closed and the key was a little bit jiggly. I thought we got locked out, but we had the key all along. It just had to be wiggled just right. Otherwise everything was perfecto! I would highly recommend staying in this apartment. It is in a great location! We had no complaints. Host was very communicative and helpful!

The property is in a very convenient location to restaurants and walkable sight seeing attractions. The pull out sofa beds are in terrible condition with rips and dirtiness. The air conditioning was only located in the master bedroom and did not cool well. The rest of the house is not air conditioned. The bedroom with the twin beds had dirty walls and dirty doors and stained headboards on the beds. There is mold on parts of the showers. The shower water was cold. The washer/dryer combo did not work well. The property decor is similar but not as pictured, photos likely taken a while ago and likely just after it was painted as the walls are dirtier and different furnishings. I informed the host of the concerns about the properties cleanliness and had to “make do” as there was no where else available for our family of 7 to stay on short notice. The host I will say, was friendly, however, this property needs a “fix it up” overhaul and deep cleaning. It has potential to be something great if it gets the proper upkeep and cleaning. It really was a great location. We rented a day room across the piazza after checking out of here, until our transfer back to FCO later in the day. The day room cleanliness and amenities really solidified how run down this particular rental really is. I really hope they spend serious time fixing these issues.
