Great location near the Vatican
This was a great location a short walk to the Vatican, many restaurants, shops, cafes, gelaterias, and more. The unit was comfortable and had all that we needed during our stay. The check in process was excellent and communication was quick and effective with the property management. The property is on the 6th floor, with many stairs and only a small (sketchy) elevator. So be aware. The unit has a tiny, European style washer and only drying rack. So plan accordingly. We had expected to have things like soap, paper towel / dish towels, basic kitchen and other bathroom amenities present when we arrived. What we found wasn't much. Not a big thing, but would have been a nice touch and is something we’d seen most other places we’ve stayed.
When we checked in, we were told about quiet hours in the building and the sensitivity to this as it related to VRBO / B&B guests like us. We planned much of our day, including rest time and sleep to correspond and respect the rules. What we discovered is the full time residents didn’t similarly respect these rules. We notified the property manager about concerns we had with loud construction going on across the hall during quiet hours. This was acknowledged, but not much else was done. This left us disappointed.
Overall, the place was good and our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.
