When is a townhouse not a townhouse? When it looks and feels like a luxury stand alone home! This Lake Ozark Retreat is a fabulous 4 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath two story waterfront with 2 master bedrooms and a great open layout. The lower level has a spacious kitchen, dining area and living room that provide a wonderful gathering space for up to 10 adults (and some children). This walks out to 1,000 sqft of patio space, which is partial covered and gives you great views of the lake.

The two living areas also provide lots of room for your friends and family. Decorated somewhat like a Colorado lodge, Lake Ozark Retreat has so many extras, it is hard to list; enclosed screen porch, water trampoline, concrete basketball court, dock bar with large swim area, two outdoor deck areas to relax and play on. Magnificent lake views, in a wide, but not too wide of a cove finishes the picture. Located just minutes from the town of Laurie at the 39 mile marker, this will be your families gathering place year after year! This property also has a sister property (VRBO #455934) if your looking for a larger place for your family reunion, this would allow for 8 bedrooms with 6 bathrooms and two half baths, two docks all connected in one large area. We had an amazing time. The view is breathtaking. The house was perfect for all 11 of us. Plenty of room for everyone. And the dock is absolutely amazing. We spent most of our time on the dock. We really enjoyed the dock being brick. You hardly noticed all the waves. We will definitely be returning.

Family friends 2nd annual trip to the Ozarks

Nice quiet location, everyone really enjoyed floating by the deck. Amazing views and the property is impressive when coming in from the main channel on the boat.

Great place for large families!

Our family of 12 stayed here and had an awesome time! We had plenty of room to spread out, the house was very well kept and filled with plenty of amenities. The location and proximity to the grocery store were also great. Although we didn't really use it, the dock was awesome (we spent our days at our other family's house & dock 2 coves over). We've stayed at different houses over the last several summers and we all agreed, this was our favorite!

Great Family Home

This house worked really well for our family of 11. Gene was great with communication and with information to make our stay more enjoyable. The dock was fantastic. Plenty of seating, fridge for beverages, a bar area where we could set up for snacks(including outlets for crock pots), the lily pad, pool noodles and floaties, were an extra bonus. All in all great trip. Thank you!

Beautiful home with a great dock area!!

My family & I stayed at this beautiful home for the Memorial Day weekend & it was perfect! The house was very clean & beautifully decorated. There was plenty of room for the ten of us to stay comfortably. The outdoor patio gives you a great place to relax & enjoy the perfect views of the lake. The dock area is fabulous! There is a large swim dock area along with a large portion of the dock that is covered that includes a gorgeous bar! This area is perfect rain or shine!! I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking to rent in this area. It is a quiet area & about a 15 minute boat ride to our favorite restaurant/bar...Captain Ron's!! We will definitely be back!!

You Won't Be Disappointed!

This is our 1st time to stay here and it won't be our last! We will never stay anywhere else when visiting the Ozarks. 10 of my family members (adult children and grandchildren) were very impressed with the accommodations and they all want to return next summer...as well as the family members who were unable to come. Everything is 5-star and better! Top-end appliances, beautiful hardwood floors throughout, ceramic in the kitchen and bathrooms, and very clean! The outside patios and large dock were awesome!! The only thing lacking was railings at the steps leading down the hill to the dock. I felt more comfortable going up and down while holding onto a family member. I'm a tad picky and this property definitely pleased me. Most of our time was spent on the dock. The dock had everything we were looking for and then some. I can't say enough about the owners. They were extremely accommodating and prompt in answering any questions and certainly made our trip memorable! (Thank you so very much) I hope you'll enjoy this awesome property as much as we did....and will continue to.

We had a fantastic family (3 generations) vacation week at this house. We loved the house and spent most of our time on the dock fishing, swimming and boating. This was our 14th year and by far one of our better stays. The owners were very easy to communicate with…responded quickly. The kitchen was spacious with anything and everything you could need. The grands loved the fishing. We caught enough fish for dinner for everyone! The only draw back was the climb from the dock to the house..it’s long and steep! Wonderful house would recommend it!

Everything and the kitchen sink!

Fantastic rental experience! Excellent atmosphere, beautiful home, we cooked all of our meals and this was by far the best stocked kitchen with all the essentials. Plenty of pots, pans, table settings and Tupperware for a whole crew. Nice appliances and a double oven made cooking for 8 a breeze. Great bedding! Generous amounts of pillows and blankets. Awesome downstairs living room. Plenty of comfortable seating for all. Very nice dock with a wet bar, refrigerator and chest freezer. Ample seating on the dock to hang out, lay out, or veg out! Host was top notch! Extremely helpful, filled with local info, and available to answer all of our questions. Our group had an amazing weekend and we will absolutely book again!!

Very nice and quiet lake property

This property was very nice and felt like home when we arrived. The neighbors are very polite and helpful and gave us great recommendations. The dock is very large and was a great place to hang out. This place hand all the amenities you would want for a lake house.

Nice waterfront location.

This home had a nice waterfront location with a great dock. Walk to the dock from the house was a lil more than ideal but tolerable. The hot water heater did not keep up with multiple showers going at the same time. After 2 showers we had to wait 30min or more for the next shower to have cold water. The master bedroom toilet cracked from normal use. Gene felt foul play was the cause...??? Without discussing further with us he billed us for the repair. I asked Gene to explain how a person can crack a toilet by using it improperly, he said he had no clue but it had never happened before and charged us $189.40. Not by any means the end of the world, but if we were gonna split hairs maybe consideration should be given to the fact that we all decided it was easier to enjoy our vacation taking turns showering every other day.

Great Mini Vaca with our Family

Wonderful Time

The property was perfect especially for the grandkids. They loved the water mat which kept them busy all day. The steps from the house to the dock were easy to go up and down. The kitchen was big enough for several people to be in at the same time. Having the washer and dryer there made the stay even simpler. We gathered of snacks for the day and head down to the dock, the bar on the dock was a great place to set everything out. They have plenty of life jackets and noodles. They did have blow up floaties but we had brought our own. We would definitely stay again. If you want to rent a boat Pirates Point is the place to go, we hired a captain and he was able to pick us up at our dock and it made that more enjoyable.

Long weekend getaway

We had nine people stay here, plenty of room & beds. The dock is awesome, big, partial roof coverage for shade, the bar top is handy & fridge / freezer. The only drawback is the steps from the dock to the house for older people, but, highly recommended still.

Quiet Cove

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend stay at the lake house. We had a large group (7 adults and 4 kids) and there was plenty of room for us all. The dock was definitely the highlight of the house. There are quite a few steep steps leading from the house to the dock so not the best for elderly or handicapped individuals. The house was situated in a quiet cove which was nice for swimming off the dock. Not very close to a lot of the tourist area so a peaceful area. We would come back again!

We purchased this property in 2010. We have spent many summer weekend and many holidays enjoying our place at the lake. Our Children have loved bringing their friends to the property for many years and now they have become busy in school activities, so we cannot use the property as much. We want to be able to share this wonderful place with others and make this your families destination year after year.

Why they chose this property

We bought this property located just 2 miles from the town of Laurie, MO. This allows you quick access to any supplies that you may need. There is a grocery store, gas station, bait shop, movie theater, golf course and many restaurants with in minutes of our lake house by car. We are also very close to several restaurants and by water, Captain Ron's, Bare Bottoms, Big Dicks restaurant. We have a gas marina at the back of our cove and two more full service marina just right outside the mouth of our cove (Light House Marina and Silver Sands Marina). Our lake house is an open layout to enjoy large gatherings with family and friends. We are located 1/2 mile back in a large ski cove. Our lake house has great view and allows for you to be able to see you children skiing and tubing from our boat dock or many outside gathering areas.

What makes this property unique

This property sits at the 1/2 mile back into Brushcreek Cove at thh 39MM. We have incredible views of the lake, virtually from every room and angle. This property is unique in that the kitchen dining room and living room all open out to a 1,000 sq. ft. outside patio. This is usually where our family and friends gather. Another benefit is that this property has two master suites, and three of the bedrooms are located on the upper floor, if your guest want to get some rest and relaxation.
