About the host
Hosted by Petra \"Le Terrazze La Volpaia\"
Our house was always full of people: relatives, friends, friends of friends, travelers and animals. Therefore, our hospitality is simple, genuine and family.
"Le Terrazze" and "La Volpaia" are the names of our houses.
The name "Le Terrazze" recalls the typical form of agricultural terraces where the olive trees are grown.
The name "La Volpaia" is in honor to the beautiful red foxes that once roamed our land.
Behind "Le Terrazze La Volpaia" there's me, i'm Petra, my parents, my husband and our two kids and our dog.
To learn more about us, please don't hesitate to contact us!
We await to welcome you as our guests.

Why they chose this property
Versilia is located in a strategic location for lovers of art, culture, but also for sports and nature enthusiasts .
A few kilometers are the beautiful towns of Tuscany such as Pisa (30 km), Lucca (25 km), Florence (100 km), Siena, San Gimignano and Volterra (110 km), small centers of art and culture as Pietrasanta (10 km), nicknamed “City of Botero” or "Little Athens", and Torre del Lago (10 km), where every year in the summer season is held the "Puccini Festival", historical centers like Massaciuccoli and its Roman ruins, the castles of Lunigiana, The Via Francigena and Sant'Anna di Stazzema .
For nature lovers the Apuan Alps, also known as the Marble Mountains, are a real natural jewel. The particular calcareous nature of the Apuan Alps has allowed the creation of an extensive network of karst caves, some of these caves can be visited today as the Wind Cave and the nearby Cave of Corchia. Beautiful Lake Massaciuccoli, where you can walk on a path of stilts or boat trips and bird watching. Unusual the new path of "La Buca delle Fate", given a new life recently in the hills of Piano di Mommio. And yet, the Natural Park of Migliarino San Rossore which offers nature trails with experienced guides cycling, horse and carriage.
For those who love sports there is plenty of choice: the Golf, nearby fields of Pietrasanta, Pisa and Garfagnana, trekking on the many paths of the Apuan Alps, canoeing on Lake Massaciuccoli, surfing on the beaches Versilia, diving in Tuscan Archipelago, skydiving in Lucca, hydrospeed the Lima , running or Nordic walking in the pinewoods of Viareggio.
