Gorgeous property with views of stars, lake and lighthouse. Perfect for the fall extended wknd getaway we were looking for. The smell of the cedar and quiet were so peaceful. The gunfire at dawn was not my dog’s favorite but such is fall in Wisconsin:) Really appreciated the log chute to help with moving the kayaks!

We have been staying near the Cana Island Lighthouse for almost 30 years. We love the area! Bailey's Harbor is definitely the quiet side! First time at this VRBO. A special treat for us! Loved it.

Beautiful home away from the busyness of most of Door County.Close enough to get to everywhere we wanted to go. Very spacious with three bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms was perfect for our family. Lots of room to spread out in. Well stocked kitchen. Chris was always quick to respond to questions.Across road from waterfront, but a very quiet road and beautiful views of the secluded bay and the Cana Island lighthouse. We enjoyed walking to the lighthouse and the Bues boat landing and views of Moonlight Bay.Two kayaks are available for use, which was terrific--a bit difficult to get them down the rocks into the water, but we made Chris aware of this and he plans to have this addressed for next seasonWould highly recommend staying here for your trip to Door County and Bailey’s Harbor!

Spend several days with my family in early September. Location was very private and quiet, the waterfront was across the road, but with minimal traffic was super easy to walk over and sit on the chairs and watch the sunrise and enjoy the view of Cana Island. The 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms worked perfectly for our family (myself, younger son, older son and daughter-in-law) Everyone had their own bathroom. Being the early riser of the group I should have taken the loft bedroom and given the master to those who sleep in! Although we did not do much cooking, everything was there for the meal that we did prepare.Unfortunately, we only got to take out the kayaks once, but they were very nice and my son and daughter-in-law enjoyed their excursion. The next day was super windy and we got to watch surfers over by Cana Island, which by the way is a very quick walk! The location was very convenient for us to go to other areas on the peninsula and no drive was very long.If we were to go up to Door County again, I would definitely check to see if this property was available.

Our stay at this stunning house was truly delightful! It provided everything we could possibly need for a comfortable family getaway. The breathtaking views and convenient location near Sister Bay and the magnificent Cana Island Lighthouse added to our experience. We visited in mid-May and this was the first time staying onthe east side of the peninsula. LOVED IT! Peaceful....just what we were looking for. Loved our daily walks to Cana Island and the views out the windows. The well appointed assortment of pantry supplies came in handy when I needed a tablespoon of olive oil. Amazingly clean and comfortable. Our group of 4 wanted for nothing! We look forward to staying here again!

We have stayed in seemingly countless VRBO properties, and this Baileys Harbor house is the best! Beautiful, convenient, and ideally set are just the beginning of our praise for this most excellent of vacation homes.Door County is the most beautiful part of Wisconsin and this house is in the best part - uncrowded, lakefront, lake breezes, and convenient to the hurly-burly of Fish Creek and Sister Bay. Also, it is close to the most beautiful place in this beautiful state: Cave Point. Exposed Niagara Escarpment right on the lake can't be beat.We will return!

The location is amazing! Quietly nestled in the woods with the lake access right across the street. Cana Lighthouse is at the end of the road and great restaurants are less than 10 minutes away in Baileys Harbor. Sister Bay felt so close too! The house was comfortable and clean with everything we needed. We especially loved that the family room had cozy seating for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed our snowy weekend getaway!
