Great place in Barcelona

Clean, spacious apartment. Great access to metro and buses. Quiet neighborhood and walkable to the gothic quarter and La rambla. Easy check in and the kitchen was well stocked.

A couple of things:1) we would have appreciated more towels. We only had a hand towel, each and no wash cloths, and 2) we were short on pillows, and 3) there was no salt or sugar in the kitchen.

There were only two rolls of paper toilet for a family of 5 in 3 days and the air conditioner didn’t worked.

Bardzo dobra lokalizacja

Bardzo dobrze skomunikowane i przyjemne miejsce. Apartament cichy, mimo bliskości dużych ulic. Schludny i przestronny, jednak nieco skromnie wyposażony, jeśli chodzi o kuchnię - brak czajnika, niewiele naczyń, kawa, herbata czy cukier we własnym zakresie, a do tego uszkodzone drzwiczki szafek i brzydki zapach spod zlewu. Jednak ogólne wrażenie naprawdę dobre. Spędziliśmy tam przyjemnie i komfortowo 4 noce będąc rodziną. Druga toaleta w apartamencie dla 5 osób bardzo praktyczna.

Très bel appartement bien situé à Barcelone

Nous étions quatre et notre séjour s'est très bien déroulé. De l'accueil qui s'est parfaitement passé à un bel immeuble et appartement bien confortable et équipé. Les alentours permettent de bien rayonner pour visiter Barcelone. Et quelle belle ville que Barcelone !

House away from touristic sites

Pros: - No parties, bedrooms facing inner yard, no street noise. - Family setting of apartment (baby chair), big dining table, 5 sleeping places - Patio is safe and good for child to play, no height drop. Cons: - Location - very far away from all touristic attractions, no direct metro line to El Born/Catedral, taxi to Barceloneta - 12 euro, bus - 45 mins. Forget cycling, as it's steep uphill and the building is on 5 lanes one way autopista without bicycle lane. Very hard to park unload/load luggage. - Safety micro - On a micro level the safety was compromised by the fact that the entry door can't be locked from inside, there is no safety chain, no safe in the apartment. We were told that the lock can't be changed when we tried to lock door from inside with the key and almost got locked out. As the result there were several occasions when the door became ajar because the neighbors banged their doors. Another time cleaning man walked in with his own key while I was alone in underwear in apartment, next occasion somebody fumbled with the door and when I opened it, there was old lady who mixed up the floor. Our toddler also could easily open it just pushing the handle, which I don't think should be a case with small children. - Internet - there was no internet first two days, there was another black out of around 3 hours at the end of our stay. You can't do anything with it, as it's provided to a whole building, restarting router didn't help. - Management - I'm not sure why the contract wasn't brought for check-in, we were required to travel to the office (6 km away) to sign it during week. It's hard if you have work commitments. You get only one key for apartment while the cleaner and manager have their own. Can be hard if you are all adults, was also hard with the toddler. On an occasion of the door issue we were told that we are a difficult customers and not a good fit

Overall a fair place.

Checking process was relatively fast. The only downside was the internet only worked for about 30 minutes and I guess that because it was a weekend and holiday , it couldn't be fixed. A/C only in the living room, so rooms tend to get a bit hot (June 22).

Lovely space

This is a surprisingly quiet apartment off a busy street that provided a spacious retreat from all the hustle and bustle that Barcelona offers. There is a good selection of restaurants, grocery stores, and parks with play areas nearby. The metro is just 7 minutes away. The house rules are VERY detailed but generally aimed at facilitating your use of the space while preserving the integrity of all the working parts. The check-in process could be streamlined a bit, but really can't complain overall.
