About this property
Gowan Brae Cottage - NEW!
Newly and beautifully renovated romantic cottage for two in the heart of the Blue Mountains, just a five minute walk to Katoomba Village.
Gowan Brae, c1910, evokes the charm and romance of a bygone era. The cottage has been meticulously restored in keeping with its original heritage features. It has 1 queen bedroom and accommodates 2 adults.
Featuring a cosy log fire, French bed linen, elegant furniture and furnishings, central ducted heating, boutique bathroom amenities, fluffy bathrobes and slippers for your stay, Gowan Brae offers the ideal balance between the privacy and spaciousness of your own holiday home, with all the pampering comforts and style of a luxurious hotel.
Ideally located, it is walking distance to Scenic World, numerous bush walks, the Village of Katoomba's town centre, public transport including trains and buses and Katoomba's Aquatic Centre's swimming pool, sauna and gymnasium.
Watch native King Parrots in the secluded and tranquil garden while relaxing on your verandah, or wander through the garden before enjoying the beauty of the world heritage-listed Blue Mountains National Park. Return to the cottage for a pampering bath and then enjoy a fine wine in front of the log fire.

I currently live in Sydney and am accessible 24/7 via phone, text and email.

While Gowan Brae is ideal for honeymooners, we regret that weddings cannot be accommodated.
Guest are refrained from smoking indoors and in the garden due to its close proximity to native bush-land.
We regret that pets cannot be accommodated.
In Autumn and Winter (May to November) warm outdoor clothing is advisable as temperatures can be up to 10 degrees cooler than Sydney temperatures.
