Sunflower Cottage - between Katoomba and Leura

Sunflower cottage is a pet-friendly 3-bedroom holiday house. It is located in South Katoomba, between Katoomba and Leura, two of the most popular towns in the Blue Mountains area.
There is a large veranda at the front with a great view into the valley and out the back is an enormous yard. Off-street parking for several cars. It has one full bathroom and an additional toilet.
Well-behaved pets are welcome with no extra fee. Please be aware though, there is no enclosed yard. Your pets can stay inside the house but please keep them away from the bedrooms.

A Very comfortable house for a few days getaway in the mountains……and we were able to take our fur baby with us. However the property is not fenced so it may not suit all pet owners.

Plenty of room for family and fur baby House was clean and tidy. Games and DVD’s available if you didn’t bring your own entertainment. Bathroom has a screened in spa bath which was not the greatest for an ‘older’ parent with hip issues.

The property was very clean and simplistic but homely. We found the beds very comfortable and the sheets were crisp and clean like a hotel. There was plenty of heating with electric blankets, air-con and fireplace, so we were cosy when needed for our winter stay. The pump wasn't working on the spa bath, but all other things were perfect. Host communication was great, the location and view was lovely, we enjoyed sitting outside for morning tea and the loungeroom was lovely and cosy to snuggle up over a movie. Great having 2 toilet options, just a lovely property to have a get away in the blue mountains and so close to Leura and Katoomba.

The house was clean and in good condition. The only issue was that for four people there was only one small three-seater couch, and the rest of the seating was uncomfortable chairs. I would recommend adding a more comfortable and larger sofa to better accommodate groups of more than four guests.
