Located on River Road at Cliff View between the 2nd and 3rd crossing, this house has gorgeous views of the towering cliffs, and is just steps away from the beautiful Guadalupe River. The "private beach" is a perfect place to sun, lounge, swim, or just relax and watch the people float by! Start your float right at your front door (next door tube rental)...put in up stream and tube exit a number of places down the river that offer shuttle service back! Whether you are watching the goats mingle on the 400 ft cliffs in the morning, or star-gazing on the spacious front deck in the evenings...you are sure to enjoy your stay in this 3 bed/3 bath home at Cliff View.
For entertainment enjoy live music at the nearby Greune Hall, Greune Grove, Grapevine, or White Water Amphitheater. Downtown New Braunfels is only 20 minutes away.
The Disposable Container Law does not apply to our section of the Guadalupe River.
We provide bed linens, pillows, and comforters, but we do not provide bath or beach towels.

Our bad experience was that the bed sheets were dirty; they only made the beds, but the pillows, pillowcases, and sheets were dirty. I had to wash them because they had saliva stains on the pillows and sheets. I spent 4 hours washing them."Not fun," I was very disappointed.The road to get there is winding; I don't recommend it if you have to drive at night. The stay itself was quite good, and the river is nearby. I called VRBO with not results

This is not a truthful or accurate review. My cleaning crew assured me that all linens were clean and all beds made. This crew has worked with me for years. These guests complained about everything including the "winding road" along a river. I immediately addressed every complaint and question they had during their stay through text and phone calls. In the end they did not follow check out procedures, However, I did not keep their deposit. Please refer to other reviews of my property to have a more truthful accurate account.

House was nice and had everything you need. The location was perfect and felt safe with the gated entry. The rock beach area was awesome because you call pull your vehicle up to the water. Tanya was very responsive and very easy to work with.

Great location!

We had a great time staying here! The river is just a short walk away. The house was perfect, we had plenty of room for all of our guests. The only downside were the guest bedroom sheets had a smell, so we had to wash them while we were there. But that was an easy fix! I highly recommend staying here!

Graduation weekend

My daughter graduated from TXST so decided to stay at this rental instead of a hotel, best decision. It was quiet and secured (unit is located in a small gated area with a few other condos) great place for my family to relax before and after the graduation. We enjoyed having our own area at the river, can float and get picked up pretty close.. next door tubes if needed. Will definitely return.

Great Location!

We had 4 adults and 4 kids ranging from 9-13 and this fit our needs perfectly. You can’t beat the location on the river. House was clean and had everything we needed. The owner was very easy to communicate with via text and answered questions promptly. We rented tubes from Mountain Breeze a few doors down and they were excellent. Overall a wonderful trip and we can’t wait to go back!!

Annual family vacay

The house is awesome. We had 4 teenagers and the distance to the river was perfect. The owner was excellent, checked in on us and responses were almost immediate! Housekeeping could be a little better. Floors needed a deep mopping and all bedding including quilts and blankets needed washing. Having the washer and dryer was excellent. We will definitely stay again.

Great place and I would recommend this place to others. Property owner was very nice and a fast response to my questions. House was Very clean, large kitchen, comfortable bed. Easy access to the river. As we had plenty of room to drive down to the river from this house and put in our kayak. We wil be back.

Relaxing spot perfect for our family

This home was just as described and worked beautifully as our spot to celebrate Christmas. We enjoyed relaxing together and walking along the river. Cooked three large meals in the kitchen without issues. Tanya was very helpful and responded quickly to my questions. Hope to return this summer to further enjoy the water and this perfect getaway!
