Unique Montana Cabin Near Glacier National Park and Big Mountain

Unique and totally remodeled cabin near Glacier National Park. It has two bedrooms, one of which is a south facing sun room with a Daybed. There is also a queen size hide-a-bed in the living room. It is decorated with personal pictures of Glacier National Park, and a large topographical map of the Park. There is a nice outdoor seating area with picnic table, chairs, and firepit amongst the pine trees. The cabin sits immediately off, and adjacent to, US Highway 2 with convenient access to Glacier Park to the east, or Kalispell and Whitefish to the west.

This wonderful cabin was perfect for my wife and I, and a great place to headquarter for our daily explorations of Glacier National Park. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for the perfect stay. The location is geat too, just 10 miles to the west entrance to the park. I wouldn't hesitate to book it again.

Great West Glacier cabin

This was our first trip to Glacier. This was the perfect West side location. Close to several small towns and plenty of places to eat. The cabin itself was so fun and cozy. We enjoyed the oitdoor area the most with the fireplace and hammock. It was only 15 minutes from the West entrance so getting up early and hitting the trails was easy. Thank you so much for the lovely place we called a home for a few days

This is a great property. The cabin is cute and cozy. It had everything we needed. It is close to the west entrance of glacier and was a fantastic place to stay.

Perfect space for our family of 3

Cute place located conveniently off Hwy 2 making it a great location to points of interest in the area especially the west side of Glacier National Park. The cabin was clean and had everything you may need for a week, including bear spray and bug spray. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Sweet cabin in an excellent location! We enjoyed our week at Bear Hat Cabin. We LOVED the flower boxes on the windows, super clean space, the nice outdoor space, Marcus’s photography and the Glacier Map that adorned the walls, proximity to Glacier NP’s west entrance and tons of other places (lots to see and do plus close to all conveniences), stocked kitchen and like new grill, additional sunroom space, additional TV is the sunroom too, being able to stream on TVs and having the box fans and having a washer and dryer! Whew! A lot to love about this place!! The cabin sits just off busy Hwy 2 - but we did not notice the traffic noise inside (sleeping with our sound machine probably helped too). Would highly recommend Kathy and Marcus’s Bear Hat Cabin!

The cabin was exactly as described and met all of our needs. We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is located just 8 miles from the turn into GNP, as well as all the amenities we needed. We were just a single couple but there was plenty of room for children. Our IPhone map directed us right to the door.

Perfect location to access Glacier NP!

This was an ideal location for our time in Glacier National Park. It was easy to go back and forth, and the property fit our family well. They had everything we needed for a lovely stay, even bear spray for our hikes! It was convenient to be able to do a load of laundry and relax on the patio after a long day of hiking and adventuring. Highly recommend!

We both live here because of this beautiful place. If you have any questions about where to drive, walk, or visit...ask us!! We love sharing our knowledge about this area with visitors.

Why they chose this property

If you are looking to explore this area we have a comfortable and practical cabin for rent. There are two combination TV/DVD players for the kids or adults, a sun room with a daybed facing south that is perfect for looking out at the woods, a kitchen that is functional and attractive, and no need for a trip to the Laundromat as we have a washer and dryer in the utility room!! There is no cable or satellite TV service but complementary Wifi is available with login information in the cabin.

What makes this property unique

Minutes for Glacier National Park, Big Mountain Ski Resort, Whitefish, and Hungry Horse Reservoir. Use this cabin as you base to explore Northwestern Montana!! Conveniently located on US Hwy 2.
