About this property
Oceanfront Cottage directly on the beach
The Barnacle is a one of a kind cottage only a few steps from the ocean. It’s nestled into a natural swail in the topography which gives it a nice private feeling with to die for views and access to the beach. At high tide you are literally eye level with the water. Cook lobsters, s’mores or better yet both right on the beach.
The Barnacle is best for families of 4 and under, two couples or just anyone who loves access to the water and wants a one of a kind small authentic Maine cottage. There are two bedrooms off the back of the cottage with a queen bed in the master and two twin beds in the second bedroom. Barnacle has a cute and very functional kitchen again with a beautiful view of Flood’s Cove as you prepare your coffee in the morning or other meals throughout the day. There is a dining room table and a cozy living/sitting room and bathroom with shower.
You can use the kayaks and paddle boards provided by Flood’s Cove or keep your own on the beach just a few feet from the cottage. If you are a swimmer you will love the Barnacle for your morning swim or afternoon coll off. There is an outside hot/cold shower provided to rinse off before you settle down to read your book or getting dressed for the evening. The Barnacle can sleep four easily. It has a bath with a shower stall, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area and two large bedrooms. The Barnacle's bedrooms include a queen bed and two single beds. The entire front of the Barnacle faces the ocean and contains multiple large windows from which to view the open ocean as you sit and relax.
