Small and cozy

Two weeks of working remotely couldn't have been more wonderful! Cottage was clean, has many amenities, but it is small! We got used to its size quickly and found it charming and cozy.

Perfect house for the two of us in Dennis Port!

My husband and I had a wonderful time staying at this house. The photos reflect everything accurately. It was very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. The yard outside space was lovely. Close to a variety of nearby beaches. Not far from anything you would like to see on the Cape if you are willing to drive a bit. Just perfect for the two of us. Would love to return one day!

Cape Cod Cottage

The location of this cottage was great for exploring from P-Town to Boston which was the goal of our trip. We didn't spend a lot of time using the amenities, but they looked great, especially the patio table and umbrella. The only issue that we had was lighting. There were no lights installed in the ceilings of the living room or bedrooms which made navigation at night a little difficult until you got to one of the lamps. Other than that we would recommend it.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cottage is on a quiet street in easy walking distance of the beach, neighborhood grocery stores and restaurants. We enjoyed the nice deck with grill, outdoor shower, and large back yard. The updated kitchen is wonderful and all appliances work well. We would prefer a regular toaster to the older toaster oven provided in the cabinet. There is a bright overhead light in the kitchen, but only small table lamps to light the living room and bedrooms. Room air conditioners keep the house cool. We would have liked to also have the option of having the windows open at night. Beds are comfortable and so is the living room furniture. The couch pictured is smaller than the large one that we found blocking access to the front door.

I was extremely pleased when we entered cottage. Everything was clean and just like photos. We had an issue that I informed you about by email. A service person quickly arrived within 20 mins. and quickly resolved the issue. Very impressive! Possible improvements: new mattresses, clean or replace outdoor shower head (trickle spray), brighter bulbs in lamps. You may want to change description of amenities. Keurig coffee listed we brought pods to find a Mr. Coffee pot. Overall wonderful experience. Thank you.

2023 vacation at 39 Holiday Ln

Overall we all loved our stay at 39 Holiday Lane. The house is adorable with a spacious and beautiful back yard. We have just a couple suggestions...there is a need for more lighting, especially in the living room and near the washer and dryer (which we loved). We did notice teeny tiny ants around the kitchen sink, but also saw ant traps so they have been addressed. We loved the outdoor shower after going to the beach, but we did notice that water drips outside when the indoor shower is in use. We absolutely loved the outdoor patio, and having perfect weather, we ate out there most of the time. The living room furniture is lovely and definitely fits the style and decor , but a more comfortable sectional would be perfect in that room. Not a pleasant stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was dark, old, not clean. There were bugs probably from the screens on the windows that were old and ripped. I was sleeping in one of the rooms and an earwig bug crawled on my hand while I was falling to sleep. It was dusty and had cobwebs everywhere. The bath room was too small. We tried to use the washer and dryer but it was in a small closet and there was no light near it to see what we were doing. It was a stressful vacation staying in this house.

Yikes! We have searched our records and do not find reports of any of these matters. We are sorry that you found this charming little home to be so unwelcoming to you. Each year the owner has made improvements to the property. Surely, windows will be one of the next projects. The interior of this home was renovated 4 years ago. And, yes, we will agree that the bathroom is small, however, the total square footage of the entire home is 616 sq. ft. Perhaps a gander on our website will find something a bit more to your liking for next time! Thank you for your feedback.

Reviewer Comments: Apprécions l'état de la cuisine rénovée avec cuisinière au gaz mais une mise en garde pour la sécurité d'incendie. les contrôles sur la cuisinière au niveau des enfants et facilement tournées par une maladresse ou action près de la cuisinière ce qui fait émettre du gaz qui peut faire une catastrophe. Pas d'extincteur visible non plus. Éclairage médiocre dans le salon, les chambres car pas de plafonnier mais uniquement une petite lampe de table dans chacune de ces pièces. Pas de lumière au-dessus de la table à manger. Sombre au-dessus de la laveuse sécheuse. Débarras dans certaines armoires, laissant moins d'espace pour nos objets. Et ramassage des ordures le samedi matin à 7h am et règlements de ne pas laisser les ordures après notre départ nous oblige à quitter le samedi avant 7 h ou de ne pas prendre de petit-déjeuner avant le départ. Les ordures devraient être ramassées après 9h30 le samedi. Pas beaucoup d'espace entre les lits superposés et fils d'araignées au-dessus du plus haut. Difficulté à ouvrir et fermer les stores.

September Week at the Cape

Our week at the Cape was excellent due in no small to the great cottage we rented in Dennis Port. The place was clean, well stocked and located exactly where we wanted it to be. The single glitch was that we called before we went asking whether there was a Keurig coffee-maker there and received no response.

Where should I begin

Outside: outdoor furniture broken chair, umbrella needed back door did not have screen. cleaning,grill old Kitchen pretty picture but equipped as needed Ventilation: Bathroom no fan unable to open window door wood stick and we would get stuck in bathroom Bedroom with the bunk beds too large for room glad we didn’t need the room Multiple windows did to open. Major black ant problem. I was sitting in chair in living room and a black ant crawled down my shirt. I would not recommend this vrbo until these changes have been met. It is not worth the money.

Stay was good, if your back needs a firm mattress forget it, grill was rusted out inside and control knobs were stripped forced to eat out more, coffee pot in picture shows a keurig coffee maker it was not, outdoor shower was nice and large backyard was nice
