Wonderful quiet place. Lots of parking as we had two cars. The night lights were nice at night.

Thank you for embracing the quietness and beauty of our place. Hot showers, as well as access to laundry and barbecue, made this a perfect spot for you!

The property was in a great location away from the city. The room was inviting and very comfortable. The host were very helpful and easy going. It was a perfect spot to retreat to after being in the city all day.

I do not recommend that you stay at this property!
We rented the room based on the photos which are quite good. We had reserved nine nights but left after only three. The room is very dark, the rug is old and stained (we put down beach towels on the rug since we did not want to walk on it in our bare feet). The bed, which was held up by 2x4 blocks underneath, was incredibly uncomfortable. The bureau drawers would fall out if you opened them too far. The two chairs were frayed and stained. The entire room and bathroom need a complete makeover. The pool looked like it had not bee vacuumed or cleaned in six months. I am still hoping to receive a credit for the six night we did not stay there. We ended up moving to The Best Western motel for our final six nights.

Based on our discussion with Chuck, we have refurbished the rug and checked the bed, which no one else had complained about. It seemed fine, but we sense that people who are overweight might be uneasy.
Both rooms had been recently repainted, and the chairs have been thoroughly cleaned.
The pool was not cleaned at the time because I do that and we were beginning to switching classes on line (I teach 3) because of the virus. The pool is now back in shape, completely cleaned, and the pool deck repainted.
We are sensitive to our clients' needs and usually follow up on their suggestions and requests.
Respectfully,
Anne

Host was most gracious, but property was disappointing.
Host Anne met me when I arrived, welcomed me, and showed me to my space. It was a room with its own bathroom accessible from the main house. Because there was an adjoining door, there was some noise transmission from side to side. My access to my space was through the back yard over rocks that were hard to walk on and maneuver suitcases, etc. There were many trees and plants that made the outside space very shady and cold. Pictures showed a pool in the sunshine, but it was quite a ways away from the room. The space inside was in need of major updating including the room carpeting, rugs on top of carpet (trip hazard), bathroom flooring, and furnishings. I had reserved the space for a one-month stay, but cut it short partially because it was so disappointing.
This was a unique and beautiful setting. Perfect to relax whilst house hunting in the area. Amazing wildlife... bobcat wandered through the garden. Owners were very helpful, can't fault the place and would definitely stay there again. Neighbour was superb too. Excellent location
This is my first vrbo stay. I was disappointed, but some of the blame is on me. I was not clear from the listing how small it was. That being said, I could have gotten a motel/hotel and had similar amenities at a similar price. The key plus was the quiet. A couple things of note. We weren’t able to pull the curtain closed, so we used clothespins. It “seemed” not as clean as it could be...little things, for example the mirror, the tp holder, a purple blob of something on the bathroom floor. It would make a better impression with some TLC and maybe renovations. The shower is especially wanting an upgrade. Of note, the weather did not lend itself to using the pool, which might have tipped the scales in favor of this property. Bottom line, renter needs to know what to expect.

This property was actually an attached master bedroom with guest access from back and side gate entry. The room could be accessed from main part of house but it was locked. The room carpet was filthy and heavily worn. The bed was held up by 2x4 and mattress was very uncomfortable. No individual AC/Heat and ceiling fan did not work. The pool could not be used. I liked the property owner but this was a Guest bedroom not an apartment and felt misled by the advertisement and photos.

The people were nice enough, but this was different than I expected. The room is an attached bedroom at the back of a house with entrance through a slider that was difficult to lock and open. It is small with a 3/4 bath and not updated. The ceiling fan did not work so we were rather warm sleeping in February. The pool is unheated so the outside temp needs to be pretty hot to use it.It was sufficient for a bed and shower, but we are used to nicer places.

Beautiful room and setting.
We arrived at 6:00 p.m. and the sun had just hit the mountain just to the side of the house... absolutely beautiful. The room was very nicely decorated and had a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, coffee machine with a great selection of coffees and tea bags. They offered a selection of movies along with the TV, and WIFI. The garden was lit up at night around the pool which was right outside our door. There is a private gate entrance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The right mix of comfort, privacy, and convenience!
If you are looking for a place that feels like Shangri-La yet is only a few minutes drive from all the pleasures Tucson offers, look no further than Casa Feliz.
David and I enjoyed the off-street parking and access to the suite via a path that led through a private garden. Our own chairs right outside our room were a great place to have an afternoon drink, especially after a dip in the pool. By the way, this is one of the few Home Away refrigerators that provided a freezer with ice cube trays--a really nice touch in the desert!
The room itself is spacious with a huge closet, a four-drawer dresser, and two spots to store luggage so it was out of the way. There was a small desk that suited my blogging/laptop needs perfectly. The bathroom, while compact, had everything we needed including a much appreciated walk-in shower.
The host, an expert on the area, welcomed us warmly and gave us lots of suggestions about things to see and do.
All in all, we felt this garden paradise offered the right mix of comfort, privacy, and convenience. We know you'll be thrilled to call it your temporary home while you explore the wonderful city of Tucson.
