About this property

Two Bedroom Paia Beach House Less in the middle of all the North Shore beaches

This is an adorable TWO bedroom house with high vaulted ceilings and shiny wood floors. The house is a half block off Hana Highway, 0.9 miles from Paia town, and within a mile of all the North Shore Beaches.

There is a queen size bed in the first bedroom and a full size futon/couch in the living room for additional sleeping space. Each additional person, over double per room pays $20/night. We make up the futon for sleeping and provide additional towels and linens.

As a TWO bedroom house, the maximum occupancy is 6 people.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE: When the second bedroom is not rented, the door is dead bolted from both sides. The room has it's own separate entrance and you will not see or hear anyone else.

The house is equipped with cable, wi-fi, AC, DVD player and a full kitchen that has everything you need to feel right at home. There is an outdoor grill with a bistro set out front and another bistro set on the back porch where you can enjoy an afternoon mai tai or for dining al fresco. This house is great for a kite surf vacation, surf vacation, family vacation or for people who want to be away from the big resorts and feel like you are living in a real Maui neighborhood for a while.

Beautiful Abode - Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay - the host was fantastic to work with and really took care of us - the home is in a great location, walkable to the beach, wonderful restaurants and the best little market/deli in Maui. The home had everything we needed - beach chairs/towels, coolers, and all the expected amenities. Highly recommended!

Great stay in Paia

Loved our stay. Great location close to beaches, 'downtown' Paia and Maui attractions. We loved ending our days at Tavares beach right down the road from the house after exploring other attractions and beaches. Perfect location in between so many amazing places to visit! Easy to make meals at home or eat in town. The grocery store in Paia is phenomenal, and the small general store down the street was so perfect. We would not hesitate to stay here again! We had so much fun as a family.

Great cottage in Paia

My family of 4 stayed at the Green Turtle Cottage for 2 nights before we flew to the Big Island. It was a great place to stay for a couple of days, we loved the town of Paia, great surfer hippie vibe, close to the summit of Haleakala, and going to Hookipa Beach, and very close to the airport. The cottage is very quaint, has comfortable beds, clean, and nicely decorated. Rhea was very informative and lovely to deal with. Great for a short term stay.

Green Turtle

The property was quaint, clean, comfortable and nicely appointed. It was great that they allowed some non-perishable items to be left from one set of guests to the next, such that things like salt and cooking oil were available. It also made us happier to leave our own left overs at the end knowing it wasn't just going to be thrown away. The view of the sea from this property is very limited, with most of the view from the balcony being of a garage roof, but it was still pleasant sitting there. There is a beach nearby, but with surf and surge and lots of rocks, so nowhere really for children to swim.

Charming

We really enjoyed our stay there. It was clean and very charming. They even tried to accommodate an early check in for us because my husband had hurt his knee. The house was clean and welcoming. I definitely would stay there again, only I hope longer next time. I appreciated the notebook filled with information.

Wonderful Time

My mother, 2 children, and myself stayed at the Green Turtle House. We used the whole home. It is located right outside of Paia, walking distance to a small beach that has large sea turtles sleeping there. It is roughly 0.3 miles from Kuau Market, walkable off of Hana Hwy, safe walk. Great Market to get snacks and deli sandwiches. My kids loved seeing Velvet the black cat, he was a sweet cat. The home had a washer/dryer available to use, small kitchen with perfect amount on amenities. We loved every part of Paia, we could have spent a few more days there. The beaches are amazing. The town is laid back with many boutique shops and local restaurants. Paia is the base to the Road to Hana. Great trip!

Quiet and nice

We stayed here after getting in late from a flight and opened it to find a nice little place! Adequate space, super quiet and nice to have a kitchen. We did the road to Hana the following day and it was great not to have to drive all the way to Kihei, our next destination. For those of you considering doing so it is definitely possible but nice to stay a bit closer. We also were able to stop home for a rest then go to mamas fish house for dinner - super yummy and beautiful views but expensive. It was fun to be able to visit some of the north shore beaches and watch the big waves and wind surfers too. The house is outdated and the bed is hard but we still enjoyed our time here for the aforementioned reasons. Overall I would recommend this spot but do think it is overpriced compared to what we got in Wailea/Kihei area.

Comfortable airy getaway

We had a great stay at this wonderful rental. It was our first trip with our 19 mo. old and it was perfect. Plenty of space and beach toys. While there is a beach and store/deli just a 5 minute walk away, it's not doable with a toddler so we mostly drove to town and "Baby Beach." If you have a little one this is the PERFECT BEACH.

Very well managed lovely, cozy house perfectly situated at the start of the Hana Highway

We very much enjoyed our stay. The only reasons for not rating at 5 stars are the relatively uncomfortable couch, and that as hikers/walkers we couldn’t go anywhere without having to walk on the very narrow highway shoulders
