About this property

Beautiful Four Bedroom Lake Home In The Heart Of The Northwoods

This lovely two story Northwoods Tuckaway four bedroom cabin was designed for our large family. Located just outside the city sitting on beautiful bass lake. It gives you the best of both worlds, a quiet peaceful setting, within minutes of shopping. It will sleep 12 comfortably, has a fully equipped beautiful kitchen with a dishwasher and large antique oak thrashers table. A large cathedral living area with extended deck overlooking the lake. There are fireplaces on both levels, 1 smart TV upstairs,, 1 TV for videos downstairs, lower level has a recreational room and screened in porch. Outdoors we have a playground, row boat, electric motor boat, canoe, paddle boat, 4 kayaks, floating swimming dock and fire pit at no extra charge. There is a gentle sloping sand beach with a walk out pier. We take pride in keeping our property clean and our equipment up to date and functional. Our renters love our home and many come back year after year. Our motto is to please with a reasonable rate.

Looking for a little get away in the late fall, early spring or winter season. We offer discounted rates, weekend specials and monthly deals during the off season. Please contact us for details.

Great Up North Stay

There were 4 of us staying there (2 couples). We enjoyed our stay! The kitchen was stocked for our cooking needs. We enjoyed the water craft. The location was great for going on the bike trails in the area. Thank you for opening up your home!

This was our second time staying at this beautiful lake home with our adult children and grandchildren. There was plenty of space for the ten of us. We enjoyed using the paddle board, kayaks and rowboat. The grandkids had fun swimming out to the raft and jumping off over and over again! The lake is beautiful and peaceful, ideal for a relaxing vacation. Every day we saw numerous deer and loved seeing the fawns with their mothers. We look forward to returning and have already booked a week for summer 2026. Thank you for opening up your lovely home for others to enjoy!

Nice home on a quiet lake. We had plenty of room for six adults and four kids ages two through eleven. The kayaks and raft were a big hit with the kids!

Perfect location for a peaceful family getaway. The home was large and had everything we could need, yet close enough to town that we could make a quick run to the store. The water was calm and we appreciated the paddleboard, and Kayaks that were made available. We have already booked a return trip for next summer.

It was beautiful all the activities that were available boats, kayaks and games awesome. The house could use a few repairs but good condition. In descriptions it stated parking for 6 vehicles you better all have small vehicles to fit. Overall it was AA+++ We made Great memories Thank you will come again.

Great Family Vacation

We enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for 6 adults and 2 children. Weather was perfect so we spent most of our time outside. We brought our own paddle boards and they were perfect for the small no-wake lake. House inside was a little dated and the outside area could use some minor updates and repairs to make it even better. Definitely would go back for another stay. Make sure to bring your own wash clothes, hand towels, hand soap, and paper towels.

2024 Family Getaway

The property was as advertised! Clean cabin with plenty of room and all the creature comforts of home. Outside area and water recreational equipment could use some TLC but we cleaned up the kayaks and beach area to suit our needs. The swimming area is ok and the fishing was pretty good. Nice fire pit down by the lake which was a nice relax area at night. Great location, close to food, entertainment, state forests, and shopping needs. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful place to relax.

Fall Colors!

Came for the fall colors and did not disappoint! It was raining acorns most of the week also. Enjoyed the local deer herd, they really liked the acorns lol! We had nice weather all but one day. Really nice area, went s×s one day, what a beautiful ride!

Great little cabin

This was our first family vacation with our adult children and significant others and our 2 year old granddaughter. The cabin accommodated all of us and had plenty to do had the weather been a bit nicer…but we made the best of the bad weather. Fireplace was a nice option and also a great fire pit out back with hanging swings. WiFi was good and tons of games and DVDs to choose from! Property owner was very responsive to all our needs! Would recommend!!

My wife Sandy and I are retired. We built our Northwoods Tuckaway home for our large family to enjoy and have always rented it when we are not using it. We have renters who love it and come back year after year. They consider it their home away from home. We like that! There is a beautiful small lake, nice gentle sand beach and all kinds of water recreational equipment. There is no extra charge for any of the equipment. WE TAKE PRIDE IN HAVING A NICE CLEAN HOME. One customer said; "You tell it just like it is."

near town---- small quit lake----- good bass & blue gill fishing----we take pride in keep it very clean.----we have all kinds of water equipment, rec.room, 3 T.V. washer & dryer, dish washer, at no extra charge. We have guest that have come back year after year! the say we consider Tuckaway our second home.
