We had a wonderful stay over the 4th of July holiday with our family and dog. The house was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and we absolutely loved spending time on the huge balcony. It’s located in a wonderfully quiet neighborhood, which was exactly what we needed for a relaxing holiday getaway. A huge standout was the communication with the homeowner—they were incredibly responsive, helpful, and welcoming from start to finish. Finding a place that is truly accommodating for both family and pets in such a peaceful setting can be tough, but this home was perfect. We highly recommend it and would love to stay here again!

Lovely stay! Very relaxing and peaceful. Host was very responsive and kind. Went with our grown children and dog. Loved that everyone had their own private space- unexpected and worked out perfectly!!! Enjoyed our stay and recommend for your stay in Pine Mountain!

Wonderful family retreat house

We had our annual family PMC retreat at the Star House. All eleven of us, from 2 to 73, loved it and hope to return next year. Kristin is a responsive, welcoming, and thorough host. We highly recommend a stay here.

A wonderful cabin with so many spaces for everyone

We loved spending Christmas at the Star HouseThe fireplace was wonderful! We could be together or spread out on different floors. Enjoyed every minute of our stay

Mother, daughters, grandchildren trip

We had a great time. Kristin was wonderful and the cabin was close to everything. Easy drive to the snow for sledding. We will be back

Amazing Stay

We had a great time. The owner is super communicative, the place is amazing, clean, and in a beautiful location. We hiked at a trail nearby to waterfall due to a recommendation from the owner and it really was a shining moment in this trip.

Kristin was very accommodating The home is in a good location to unwind The community is small and closely knitted They had a concert at the park and the locals came together to celebrate Labor Day The workers at the club pool were nice At night, Star gazing was a great activity

Beautiful cabin and responsive host

Seven of us and two dogs stayed at Star House for two nights in August. Kristin was a very helpful and responsive host. We all had a great time, thanks to Kristin and the well-equipped kitchen, the charcoal grill, the massive dvd collection, the friendly local restaurants, and the pool at the clubhouse. My only regret is that we didn't have more time.

Great Group Get Away!

The Star House was the perfect vacation spot for our group of friends. The views are beautiful, the cabin is cozy, and the large porch accommodated our group easily. We enjoyed the hiking trails, community park, and quiet neighborhood. In addition, our host was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing and fun-filled stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. Kitchen was beyond fully stocked. The bar was a nice surprise. Location was good. The clubhouse and downtown were great. The area is beautiful. Communication with the host was good.

Star of Pine Mountain

This is a charming cabin. Cozy, quirky, stocked with DVDs and board games to make for fun family nights. The best host communication I've ever had with a rental.

Delighted the whole family

We gathered the family this year for our annual Pine Mountain Club weekend retreat at the Star House. This included 6 adults and 5 grandkids (ranging from 2 to 10). It was perfect for us. Each one loved it and said, "let's come back." Kristin is a proactive, responsive, and welcoming host. We do hope we can return in 2026.

Super cute cabin and great location!

We had such a good time staying in the star cabin! The owner was very helpful and quick to respond to my questions and/or requests. We loved the wrap around porch and spent most of our time hanging out there enjoying the beautiful weather. The rooms were also on different floors so you have privacy if you’re traveling with friends. Overall we had such a great time and the cabin has everything you need! We will definitely be coming back again!

Eva’s family stay

The Host Kristin was so lovely and always available when I needed her . I LOVE the place so cozy, welcoming and just so much to do in the house and at the club . We walked down to the center it was a tuff walk but so worth it . Thank you for all the benefits that cabin had amazing work 🥰

We had a great weekend at the Star House and Pine Mountain Club. It's a small community but there is a lot to do. We went hiking, swimming and played tennis.The Star House was great for our two families. We had plenty of space. The kids enjoyed sleeping in the loft and playing board games on the deck. The house was clean and provided everything we needed. We enjoyed having dinner on the deck and relaxing with a glass of wine.

We had a good time

We enjoyed our stay at the Star House. All necessities were provided for us. We are a family of cooks so we spent a lot of time in the kitchen. The kids played tennis at the clubhouse every day. Our host was attentive and available. Thank you, Kristin!

Amazing star house cabin

This property is a must visit. The home is in the shape of a star, hence the name. The deck is huge and has a large clearing for stargazing at night. The home is equipped with everything you need for cooking and plenty of beds. The owner was amazing in keeping contact with us and getting everything we needed for our stay. The amenities available to us as guest was a huge plus. Kids loved the pool and the adults loved the golf and fishing. Great place for vacation or just a getaway.

Quick and Short Winter GetAway

We decided to spend new years with close family in a snowy place with close proximity to Los Angeles making this location ideal. While there were few little mishaps overall owner is super nice and very helpful. We would recommend this place for a small group of friends or family looking for a quick get away. We would definitely be back in the future if our plans take us back to Frazier Park.
