SPACE: fully private but smallish, one person only, private entrance, new: carpet, paint, bed, bathroom, newly renovated.

FUN AREA, WALK TO Coffeehouses, Groceries, Breweries & all kinds of ethnic and American Restaurants, the famous Gothic Theater, Walmart, Ace Hardware, Swedish Medical, Craig Hospital. 15 minutes drive to downtown Denver and same to Red Rocks, mountain hikes, and more.

LIGHT RAIL: 5 min. walk, Light-rail to/from Airport! Also, to downtown, to mountains, Golden or Littleton. Denver metro finally has a true "hub and spoke" light-rail system.

QUEEN AND ESSENTIALS: Bedding, towels, sheets, pillows, everything you need. If something is not to your liking the owner will try to accommodate, and if nothing else WalMart and Target both just a 5 minute drive.

KITCHENETTE: * double sink * coffee maker * toaster * multi-function microwave-air fryer-convection-oven (works really well!) * new fridge * matching dishes, silverware, cookware, glasses, etc., small table, breakfast nook, see pics.

WASHER/DRYER: laundry room is in your unit, but the upstairs tenant (if the upper is rented during your stay, it may not be) shares laundry but they coordinate it with you and your schedule (and may not need to use it at all: I vaguely discourage it in the upper unit ad)

BATHROOM: recently renovated, new stuff

PATIO, GRILL, GARDEN: gas grill/smoker, shaded table and patio area, xeriscaped garden, desert plants and flowers; if you like to garden you're welcome to help :-)

Close to everything!

This is a great little house. The owner communicated with us really well. We enjoyed our stay. As someone that has stayed there. I would like to let people know the Pizza shop down by Safeway was good. I would recommend starting a note book in the house for places to eat and not to eat. My kids did enjoy the fenced yard. It did need to be mowed, but I understand how hard that is to keep up with during the summer, and with people in the house. The house is literally within walking distance to everything. We were there for a conference downtown Denver so it was nice to be able to walk less than a mile to the light rail, and ride right to where we needed to go.

Perfect for a quiet get away

Exactly what we were looking for. Quiet neighborhood friendly neighbors and Alex was great. 420 friendly patio definitely beat staying at some hotel! Will definitely stay here again when I need a place to stay in Colorado again.

Would be a 5 star rating but there was one hiccup with the internet not being available during our stay. The homeowner was polite and helpful for any questions or issues we had. The location was great to take the light rail into Denver.

Perfect Vacation

Eveything was perfect! Alex is a very nive gentleman and we didnt have any issues the whole 4 days. The game room was lots of fun. Beautiful views of the mountain out the front door and very warm cozy house! I couldn't have asked for anything better for the price! Definetly hope to stay here again!

Perfect location and great owner

The location of the home is perfect for sightseeing and very cozy. My favorite was in the morning when you open the front blinds you get a beautiful view of the mountains. Easy access to downtown denver, red rocks, Colorado springs, and boulder. We had one small issue upon arrival and the owner was a delight right away. I would rent this home again.

Good location and value

House comes as advertised. Nice small house with good access to highway. Was about a $15-$20 Uber to downtown. Most hotels downtown were much pricier per night , so we didn't mind the Uber costs. Alex was very responsive throughout the process. We enjoyed a show at red rocks, downtown, hiking, and white water rafting. It was a great weeekend. Thanks Alex!

Perfect home away from home

Fun and clean house next to everything

I had a few reservations about renting a 420 friendly older looking house but I was very impressed. The house was very clean and smelled clean as well. I am a bug-a-phobe and was very pleased to not see any bugs during our stay. The basement ceiling is a little low but had a great time playing darts and Foosball in the basement. The house is also in a good neighborhood and is close to pretty much everything you would want to do in Denver. I had a few questions and Alex answered them right away. Will definitely check to see if this house is available for our trip next year.

Comfortable older home in a convenient location.

The location worked well for us and the house was amazingly quiet despite being close to major roads. Overall, it was like staying at Grandma's - an older house with a few glitches but comfortable and with character. The owner responded promptly when we had an issue. One nice thing that was not mentioned on the website is the distant view of the mountains from the front window.

Great location in Englewood, CO

As advertised, the house is rustic in appearance, nothing fancy. We loved it because of the location and it suited us just fine. I was delighted to find so many small conveniences like a first aid kit in the bathroom, anything you could want in a kitchen and an excellent coffee pot. Plenty of towels, toilet paper, etc. Our favorite spot was the large dining table where we played dominoes and gathered for meals. Second favorite was the backyard table and very comfy deck chairs. Though noisy from traffic, we felt like we were in an oasis with lots of birds and comfortable temperatures. Magpies cavorted overhead then kept diving into the next door neighbor's yard. Later we saw from the bedroom window that they had a food source there and at least 8 to 10 large, beautiful magpies entertained us. Our family really enjoyed our stay.

Great stay

Check in and out times were strict, and this was clear. The house was as described and the location was very central for Red Rocks and other outdoor adventures. Great restaurants close, the Copper Pot is a must try! Would be nice to have some paraphernalia at the house as it is 420 friendly, but not a big deal. Would stay here again, and the host was promptly responsive to text.

This is not a rental you or your family would want to live in while you are on vacation.

We had no working shower. The owner stated we could wait a day or two to have it repaired. We flew in that morning to not having this accommodate our needs was just awful! The owner was rude stated he would have us removed from the property. The secure key code was a joke. He left the key outside for us to find when we arrived. No way to leave the front entrance to lock it behind you. The umbrella in the back yard was broken. The place was dirty . The back yard was NOT by no means private. Looks good on his website but he does not show you that the fence is broken ready to fall over. The junk all over the back yard . The inside has old exposed spaghetti in the cupboards. The refrigerator was gross. The dishes where dirty. He does not do a walk thru or have anyone greet you when you arrive. The outlets had some kind of duck tape on them . You would have access to one outlet. We had to leave that same night for safety concerns for my family. We have not been refunded for the week . We are still challenging this expense. We would NEVER recommend anyone going to this home. I hope VRBO will do a spot check to confirm this is not a place to be lived in and definitely Not customer friendly.

Great Neighborhood

Had a terrific stay. Alex kept us informed and was just a call away if we needed anything. Loved the neighborhood - it was in a great location that was convenient to restaurants, shopping and highways. If we ever come to Red Rocks for a concert we will be sure to try to stay here, as it is only a few minutes away. You can't beat the amenities for the price...there is even a brand new horseshoe pit in the back yard!

Private, Quiet and Convenient

Using VRBO has completely changed my outlook on city vacations. This house and Alex absolutely MADE our trip. We felt at home immediately! I was a little weary to try something like it but having the privacy of your own home seemed great. Alex was totally accommodating, he sent us clear directions and the rules for the house. There was never any confusion. We had a small (minuscule) issue, he was very attentive and it was taken care of immediately. The location was convenient, close to most highways and we were always well on our way within minutes. The neighborhood is quiet so if lots of people and parties are your thing I wouldnt recommend it, you'll stick out like a sore thumb. For us, it was a huge perk! The house WiFi is great, never had any lag, even with 3 users. We actually ended up purchasing a Roku so we could watch Netflix and what not on the TV and not just on our phones. I am sure more tech. savvy people know how to hook their portable devices to a television, but alas, we do not. There are no complaints for our stay and I have a feeling my next trip to Denver will hinge on the availability of this location! Thank You Alex!

Great Value, Good Location & Very Friendly

This was a great little home away from home for our group. We weren't looking for a hotel, but something a little more cozy. We came to Denver to see two different shows at the Red Rocks. It was a good location that wasn't too far at all. We loved our stay and our host was very friendly.

I've been a private host for many years, the space and patio are well liked by visitors of all types, I've had traveling nurses, young business folks in town for a month or more, skiers who have business in town, all kinds of scenarios! A sincere welcome to this easy going space!

Why they chose this property

Tons of privacy, off-street parking, only 15 minutes to Red Rocks by car, walk to light-rail station (only 4 blocks), full kitchen, big yard and grill. You get the whole house, yard, and driveway, it a great deal.

Easy walk: Dixons Coffee, Gothic Theater, WalMart, Ace hardware, all kinds of shopping, and Swedish Medical and other area teaching hospitals

Take light-rail to downtown, the mountains, Golden or Littleton. Although this is Englewood, it is across the street from Denver, literally on border.

What makes this property unique

The patio / grill space is private, shady, and overall a super nice place to hang out spring to late fall.
