The house wasn't clean. The carpets are old and very badly stained. 2 lounges had stains all over them, so we had to cover the lounges with a blanket before sitting on them. The windows, window sills and fly screens were all dirty. Unfortunately, this made our stay unenjoyable. We wouldn't stay here again.

Great location but shabby amenities.
The property is in a great location but is desperately in need of a deep clean and furniture update. The carpets are stained and dirty. The lounges are old, stained, smelly and uncomfortable. The kitchen cupboards are full of old mismatched appliances and utensils. We enjoyed the location but were very disapointed with the quality.
This house will certainly be our go to when we bring the boat & fur babies to our much loved sussex!! So much room! Seperate the kids or hideaway in your own part of the house!😃
Window seals full of dusty, carpets old & stained, but minor in comparison to the view, space & facilities the home offers!
Park your boat right on the waters of your back garden until you leave!
Only thing I would like to see is the fence moved down to the water's edge in line with the other properties. More room for fur babies & small kids to safely utilise the grass area.
* Side note- Staff @ LJ Hooker also went WAY above & beyond when we needed to stay a extra night due to unforeseen circumstances!

Beautiful location, House needs work
Having stayed at Sussex Inlet in the past we tried a new place. Disappointed with the state of the house on arrival. Lawns very unkept in the backyard, painting tools and trays thrown in the corner under alfresco with one container full of smelly water, house had a bad smell coming from the carpeted area and master room, dishes were dirty and greasy which we had to wash before using.
After reading past reviews it seems things haven't been rectified which is disappointing. Hopefully they improve for in the future as it is a nice area to stay.
We stayed just for the weekend.
It was relaxing and handy to be still close to the shops etc
Plenty of room.
We will go back for sure

Week Away
Lovely large property, fit us well! I do feel that the double bed in the 2nd room could be updated to a queen to make the extra adults more comfy. Great access to the water, however the boat ramp at the property is a bit iffy. But there is a boat ramp not too far away. Overall was a great property to stay at and would book again.
Loved the water view. We saw kangaroos sparring just across the inlet. The property was huge. It was well equipped with multiple everything you could possibly need. The hairdryer was the only thing missing. It was close to town with supermarket and specialty shops, clubs etc. Sussex is a delightfully sleepy hollow where you can relax, fish or travel out to explore. We loved the place.
Beautiful spot and a great house for large groups . The kids adored it and we had a great time . The house is incedibly well set up for in house dining and in an excellent position to explore the beautiful surrounds .
Good holidays place. We have enjoyed it. Will go again. Pre arrival cleaning could improve as some food crumb were found under the dining table, around kitchen fridge and a bit of dirt swipped into a corner in laundry.

Large size
The property is a large size and was quiet.
Cons. The toilets were dirty
There was a dirty tissue on the ground in the walk
in robe
The dishes, glasses and cutlery were greasy and
needed to be washed before use
Not all the tvs worked
Some of the bed covers had yellow stains on them
Aircon in front room only. Bedrooms and rumpus
relied on small floor and pedestal fans (not great
on 40 degree days)
Pros. Handy access to the water
Dock in good repair but narrow access besides the
house

Great property
House was well equipped especially the kithen with all the utensils you need. The boat slip was easy to use and convenient. House was very clean and comfortable. Having to have the sheets washed and dried and be out by 10am was a challenge though. Otherwise we had a great time and the family loved it.

Great!
Being our second time staying at this property was pleased to find it much cleaner. Nice house, pleasant outlook over canal from family room and excellent facilities for a boat.

Well Stocked!
Dishwasher not working well. Both racks need repair. Sometimes dishes didn't clean well and they were really dirty. Overall, well stocked with equipment.

Delightful!
The property was large, comfortable and boasted the most enormous amount of 'kitchen gadgets'. The situation of 45 Thora was delightful and the bird-life fantastic to watch. The house exactly suited our requirements. If anything, we were spoilt by the concerns and attentions of the Hooker staff. The bottle of wine given to me shortly prior to our departure was deeply appreciated. My only observation about the house was that a good clean out would help. Both vacuum cleaners on the property were completely packed which would seem they were not emptied regularly.

Great property!
Cosy, comfortable, close to everything. Loved the jetty to tie the boat up to-slightly tight reversing down the side of the house but we managed ok... or you could go to the ramp and drive your boat up if needed. Our dogs loved it... my only concern was the fences were low-our dogs are big and one jumped over the fence on the last day! Thanks.
