Rose Cottage Boasting of Charm, Charm and more Charm

Newly renovated bungalow with a Vintage feel. This one bedroom, one bath vacation rental has a spacious living room, a work space in the kitchen, a screened back porch, private yard and a stack-able washer & dryer for your convenience. Wi-Fi, cable and linens are also provided.

Walk to The New Village Brewery & Taproom for some unique tap beer or just to look at the stars on Astronomy Night. Tennis courts are around the corner if you like to play tennis and we have a big pickleball community here in Oriental. Lou Mac park, Orientals Old Theater and all restaurants are within walking or biking distance. We have a great coffee shop called The Bean and a Village Gallery for local artist works. The Red Rooster is open on Friday nights as well as the Tiki Bar on the weekends for some live outdoor music.

Wide waters beckon for year-round sailing, cruising, kayaking, canoeing, fishing and for the racing groups, there are regattas just about every month of the year if not every other week in the summer. Come and visit this little piece of paradise off the intracoastal waterway that is known as the Sailing Capitol of North Carolina.

Great Cottage

I would recommend this cabin to anyone who wants to stay in Oriental. We stayed there during the Old Front Porch Music Festival. It was a great location because everything was walkable. The cottage had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Exactly what we were looking for. Wonderful stay in a perfect part of town that allowed us to truly get to know Oriental and all its charms. Easy walk to the fishing pier and park. Just a short bike ride or drive over to the local coffee shop, pizza joint, marina tiki bar, and others.

Cozy cottage

Had such a great time here, really enjoyed our first visit to Oriental and this was the perfect place to be. Appreciated the info before check in and then it was great to have the information notebook on hand as well. Also glad to have dish and laundry detergents provided. We were very comfortable here and highly recommend.

Rose Cottage

This cottage was a perfect fit for us! Quiet neighborhood, porch and screened in porch allowed us nice evenings to relax. We rode our bikes to town offerings and park. Thank you❤️

Lovely City and Friendly Residents

Oriental is a lovely, small town. And of course, being close to the water is great. The house is within walking distance to the water... for most. Unfortunately, not for me. I have osteoarthritis in my hip and knee and it was flaring up while we were there. Husband had to take me in the truck, which made for a couple of lonely days when he had business elsewhere and I stayed alone. What would have made my stay better is being able to rent a golf cart. There are no such places in Oriental. But the cottage has great wifi and cable TV with Spectrum (a big plus). The cottage was nice. It is an old cottage. And we had a few issues while we were there; namely, hot water didn't work very well (had to turn shower off and on while showering to conserve), had a smoke alarm go off, one kitchen light flickered (and couldn't be fixed by just changing a bulb but I found a different switch to use in the kitchen and worked around that problem), and we could leave hardly any food items on the counters because of ants. Also, two windows don't have locks. Fortunately, Oriental is a very safe town. But I did sleep with more lights on than usual. The property manager was as attentive as she could be. But she was limited in what she could do because, as we were told, the house was older and the owner didn't want to address some things. Would return to Oriental...if golf carts were available...but I'd find a different place to stay.

Rose Cottage

Check-in process was simple and the staff was very nice to work with. The cottage is comfortable, charming and in a quiet neighborhood that is just a short walk to the town center as well as to the water. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and it was nice having a tub to soak in! We will be back soon!

Most of the issues DON'T relate to you. Issues with nothing to do or close by. No curtains in kitchen. With crazy neighbor I highly recommend. Again awesome place for short get away. But your company rose above and thank you

Great little, pet-friendly house located near everything. Just a couple suggestions for a bit nicer stay: a few bowls (not sure if the dessert bowls were microwaveable), some wine glasses and perhaps a hair dryer. And some gravel in the parking area to keep the yard from rutting. Otherwise, it was a pleasant two-day winter stay.

Wonderful cottage in Oriental

This cottage was a perfect place for my wife and me to stay on a weekend visit to Oriental. It had everything we needed and was within easy walking distance to the riverfront and downtown. The cottage was clean and check in was easy. Would be glad to stay here again.

Quaint and beautiful

The house was small, but nicely equipped. Perfect for 2 people. It was in the center of Oriental, and convenient to walk to restaurants, shops and the brewery. We will definitely be back.

Lovely stay at Rose Cottage!

The location of this cottage is perfect. It is close to the water and we enjoyed walking our dogs to the pier at night. Nice quiet neighborhood and everyone is very friendly. Cottage is adorable! The pictures don't do it justice! We will definately be back.

Nice, Quaint Cabin

I truly enjoyed my stay. The cabin was cozy and nicely appointed. It was supplied with a variety of conveniences, i.e. cable TV, Internet, shampoo & soap, coffee filters, dish soap, etc. The only thing I could recommend would be a rail for the front steps.
