Welcome to "Lake View Cabin", our renovated Little black 1950's cabin with amazing Lake views, it doesn't get much better then this!!
Location! Location! Location! We are on the Lake side of HWY 89, one house away from beach and Pier.
This cabin has completed our dream by giving us an opportunity to enjoy an amazing panoramic view of spectacular Lake Tahoe all seasons of the year, in addition to affording us just a short stroll(100 yard) to the beach. We love the location and once you spend a few minutes out on the deck, you will see why we chose this property on the West shore, just steps from the beach….. Blue lake views all day long, Mountain views across the lake and surrounding area, pink sunsets on the beach and pier every evening. The night time ending with views of, lit up houses on the lake.
Leave your cars behind.. Walk to our local beach and pier, Sugar Pine Beach, Tahoma market, coffee, the Dog and Bear Tavern, and even Chambers landing for there Chambers punch! Download the "Tart Connect" app and enjoy Tart Connect, free door-to-door shuttle service. A shuttle service offering rides on the north and west shore of Lake Tahoe. Download the app, request a ride and get picked up in as little as 15 minutes! Look on their website for more information.

Across the street is also a Coffee bar, post office, ice-cream shop, sushi. West Shore market is another favorite of mine and just a 5 minute drive. They have yummy sandwiches and a beautiful little market, with a sweet little gift shop. Sunnyside Restaurant, lake front restaurant is next door to West Shore market; another favorite spot.. Super fun spot to eat out on the deck(make reservations), or first come first serve in their bar area. Chambers landing is an easy ride on the bike path or your boat; chambers punch is a hit there. They have a casual deck with yummy cocktails and small bites or make reservations and sit inside the beautiful modern/rustic restaurant and enjoy the lake view.. At West Shore Cafe you will experience the magic of Lake Tahoe's West Shore! Old Tahoe charm, fresh California cuisine(Make reservations). Fire sign Cafe is a great breakfast spot. And many other yummy spots close by; I would suggest looking on YELP.

They seem to do them in the summer and usually post the schedule outside of the park. A meandering paved bike path makes its way along the shore to Tahoe City, down the Truckee River all the way to Squaw Valley. We had a lovely stay in this place. The night sky from the hot tub is amazing, and walking the short distance to the dock to watch the sunrise over the lake was a treat. Well stocked, comfy beds and a good location for all wee wanted to do.
The host and home were both great. We were offered early entry even though we came in late. The directions were easy to follow to enter the property and the house was warm when we got there. During our stay 84” of snow fell and the driveway and roadways were all cleared so we could continue our adventures! It was such a beautiful spot to enjoy the nature around the lake. I would highly recommend a stay at this quaint and lovely cabin.
We loved the cabin. It was the perfect spot for our family of four to enjoy Tahoe. The views were amazing! The cabin was very clean, charming, and well stocked. Jennifer was a very helpful host. She suggested some great spots including Meeks Bay which was beautiful. We would highly recommend this cabin!
This is our seventh stay and we absolutely love this cabin. The location cannot be beat. We loved having dinner on the deck looking out over the lake. We biked from the cabin every single day and swam from the dock every single day. It’s so fun to watch the sunrise, sunset, And we saw some beautiful storm action too. Jennifer is easy to work with. And the new Jacuzzi is pretty amazing. We can’t wait to return!

Julie, Thank you so much for your kind words! We're thrilled to hear you, "enjoyed your stay and that everything met your expectations" for the 7th year in a row. Summer time is my favorite at the cabin! It was a pleasure hosting you, we'd be happy to welcome you back anytime.
Here’s a polished, warm Vrbo review you can copy-paste or tweak as you like:⸻We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was absolutely perfect for our family of four with two kids under 10. The location was exactly what we were looking for: peaceful, quiet, and away from the busy town areas, yet still incredibly convenient. There’s a great coffee shop and restaurant directly across the street. We enjoyed both so much we went twice during our stay. A market and several ski resorts are also close by, making everything easy and accessible. The lake is just a two-minute walk away and you can even see it from the back windows and the terrace. The hot tub was truly the star of the house. We used it almost every day and it was the perfect way to way to relax. Most importantly, we can’t say enough good things about Jennifer. We arrived during a huge storm and she was beyond accommodating. Her communication was excellent and she made sure we had everything we needed. We would absolutely recommend this place and would love to stay here again.
This vacation cabin is beautifully positioned for a lake view. It is clean and convenient to restaurants and markets, and only 8 miles from Tahoe City. We enjoyed our stay here.
We went strictly for hiking, and since most of the more scenic trails are on the southwest part of the lake, it was a perfect location. Small and cozy, just as advertised. There were plenty of supplies left by the owner, and the grocery/ deli was perfect for fixing us up for our hikes. Would definitely stay here again.
This was our family’s second time staying at this cabin this summer! Such a cute clean property! Location is fantastic! We love it so much and definitely recommend!

My best friend and I are both moms of young kiddos and take a yearly trip without the kids. This one was so perfect, snowy hot tub hangs and relaxation. The neighborhood was so quiet, and we walked to the little market and restaurants nearby.
Love this cabin. Recently updated and love the changes. Our 4th stay. Cozy, great location both summer and winter! Love the market down the street as well
Cabin was perfect for our family of four! Exactly as listed! So clean and cute! Great location! We loved the calm of the area vs South Lake Tahoe! We’d definitely love to stay again! Thank you

We live in beautiful Santa Cruz County. The most important thing to us is family, cherishing every moment together. With all our busy lives, Lake Tahoe always seems to be the place we breath, enjoy each other and life a little bit more.
Why they chose this property
We have a family home in Tahoma just up the road and this amazing property has completed our dream by giving us an opportunity to enjoy an amazing panoramic view of spectacular Lake Tahoe all seasons of the year, in addition to affording us our own little bit of private beach. When this adorable cabin came on the market, we were made aware of it in time to make it our own within hours. We love the location and once you spend a few minutes out on the deck you will see why we chose this property on the west shore…..best shore!
What makes this property unique
I took a picture of the rental sign in the past thinking it would be a perfect spot to rent if the other family cabin was too full (we try to book the whole family Tahoe trips together and sometimes there will be 22 of us in Tahoe; and right now there are 15 of us…) My husband and I were looking at the property next door years ago to possibly buy, so when this cabin came available it was a dream come true! My two little boys LOVE crawdad fishing on the pier below, swimming and jumping off the pier when younger and now love, wake surfing on the lake morning and night, snowboard, jump off the big rocks at DL Bliss, ride there bikes on the bike path, travel to other bike jump spots(One in Truckee, incline and South Shore) and family dinners with game night. I love relaxing on the private beach and watching the kids play and soak in the beauty of lake life… I also love walking back to the cabin to bring lunch for everyone down at the beach, or getting a quick snack and cocktails for everyone; and its just a one minute walk down. Its also a great spot for paddle boarding, canoeing, kayaking or getting picked up by the boat at the pier…. Winter time there is door to door transportation to Homewood Ski Resort which we love… All in all, we feel so blessed to have added this gem to our family.
