The cabin is approximately 1/2 mile off the main road and the access lane to the cabin is a little rugged. We recommend a vehicle with medium to high clearance. During the winter months we engage a plowing service. However, if the area experiences ice or heavy snowfall, the road may become difficult to keep cleared and not well suited for 2WD vehicles. As a result, during the winter months (December - March) we require that guests have an AWD or 4WD vehicle.

The host and amenities are nothing but perfect !I’ve stayed here several times and can’t brag enough about the host and the most wonderful tucked in gem in the middle of the woods, that leaves me with nothing but comfort and peace and happiness. it is so serene no matter what time of year you go if you’re looking for a weekend or a week I’ve just solitude and quality time with friends or family. This is the place.!
The cabin is super charming and peaceful. Location is quiet and feels like you are truly hidden from the hustle and bustle of daily life! Loved the fireplace and being able to walk daily in the woods! Look forward to coming back again.
This was the perfect getaway to relax and reset. The furniture was very comfortable and homey. The fires in the fireplace were wonderful. The outdoor deck was great for sitting out and listening to the leaves blow in the wind. This home is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. We loved our stay here and hope to come back again.
We were looking for a true getaway and this amazing cabin checked all the boxes. We enjoyed campfires, walks and a little star gazing. It was extremely quiet and peaceful….the name fits. The cabin was clean, well stocked and i nviting. we hope to return soon, next time for a longer stay.
This property and the history of building it was amazing and intriguing. The location was close to extended family where we attended a reunion. This is one of the most relaxing and comfortable locations we have rented.
What a great place to unwind. The home was clean and well kept. Kelly is great to deal with. The property is a good place to walk around and take in the scenery. There is a creek that takes you to the waterfall. Would definitely stay here again.
We've stayed here several times, and we absolutely love it here. It has everything we need, it's cozy, it's clean, kid-friendly/dog friendly, beautiful view, extremely peaceful, and the owners are helpful and kind. We LOVE it!!
This is our second time and it's been wonderful both times. The cabin is clean and spacious, the property is beautiful and the property owners have made sure you have everything needed for a great vacation.
The cabin was exactly as described. Very nicely laid out with just about anything you might need. On more of a personal preference it would be nice to have a/c as it was really hot and humid during our stay. Overall great time
We have stayed in lots of cabins but this was by far the BEST! The name peaceful pines is very accurate because it’s a calm & peaceful place. It had everything we could want or need for cooking. Beds were comfy & bedding good quality. Thanks so much for sharing this lovely place!Joe & Heather
