We had a great stay! The home is close to the Volcanoes NP, which was perfect for us since we visited the park twice (volcano was erupting). There were plenty of beds for our group of 7 and the house had basic essentials for us to cook meals.

We loved staying here. It's close to a main road, so it can get a little noisy with traffic. However, this place is clean and nice. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Home away from home

Our stay was very welcoming. I love that it was comfortable, nice and quiet. My children was excited that they got to play with the toys and board games that was provided. I liked that the house was clean and very cozy. Everything about it was superb. I don’t mind coming back and renting this place again. Mahalo!!!

Beautiful house with bed bugs

6 out of the 8 guest got eaten by bed bugs! My daughter is covered in bites. Looked up bed bug bites on google and it’s exactly the same.

Hi Deja, the homeowners were glad to have spoken with you about their home not having nor ever having bed bugs, and they wanted to share this additional information. - Living in a tropical environment, they are subject to insects and other living creatures outside their home. - Hawaii is known to have an invasive insect known as the Little Fire Ant, whose bite is very similar to a bedbug bite. - the Little Fire Ant is an invasive species, so your bites may or may not have been from their home. - They apologize that fire ants bit you and hope your family feels better soon We truly go above and beyond for our guests and are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!

Great home

This is a very clean and comfortable home outside of Hilo. We enjoyed having enough bedrooms for the kids to spread out, and cooked in the kitchen for our dinner. The laundry room was an added bonus and helped to dry our beach towels out. The only down side is the location on a busy road was loud at night. We found we had to close windows up to sleep. Otherwise evrything was fantastic and we would stay there again!

So much room for our family of 8. Grateful for all the ceiling fans and windows. Plenty of towels too. Bedroom blinds need to be replaced. Most were broken. Not enough privacy at night!

Noisy and Dirty

It is on a main highway and is very noisy. Also, the place--ceiling fans, pull out couch, counters, etc. were very dirty. Definitely not cleaned well by any means.

This was such a beautiful home. When we first pulled up to the house, we were amazed how nicely manicured the landscape was, you can tell they take pride, not only on the inside but in the outside too. When we stepped into the house, we could immediately tell this house was cleaned to perfection. It was furnished with everything we needed, from the Kitchen having a Keurig to the Bathrooms being fully stocked with towels. The rooms are nice and not cluttered at all, each bed was made with perfection and the matching bed sets in all the rooms took my breath away. The extra blankets in the closet was a bonus. My kids really enjoyed the games and toys. My family and I can’t wait to come back, we are looking forward to renting this house again. Please let the owners know, my family enjoyed there stay and could not have asked for a better house to rent then this one. PS. Neal was very accommodating Thank you for letting us enjoy Your beautiful home! We will definitely be back real soon.

Clean Beautiful Home!!!

The home was exceptionally clean! It had a fully stocked kitchen complete with a Keurig and coffee pods. It was well stocked with towels and had basic bathroom essentials. There was even a deck of cards for the adults in the game closet, what a pleasant surprise! But what surprised us the most, was the matching bedding in all the rooms. The entire home was not cluttered but decorated with a lot of thought and simplicity. You can tell the owners take pride in their home.

Very functional, neat and spacious accommodation

The house was perfect for our stay in Hilo area. Beaches and the Volcano park were easily accessible from here. Wonderful fresh produce street vendor just 2 mins down the street. Grocery stores were also within a convenient distance. The house layout is very functional and the spaces are not cluttered. The kitchen has dishes and appliances one needs to prepare and store meals. The kitchen space is very clean. We loved the auxiliary laundry room and the clothes lines outside. The neighborhood is good. There is some road noise but we got used to it within a day. Lots of towels provided as well. Overall a perfect holiday rental accommodation! Thank you.

Home away from home!

This is my first experience utilizing VRBO and I must say I am very satisfied with the outcome! The house was very cozy and spacious! Our party consisted of 7 adults, 1 child, and 1 infant and this house fit us all PERFECTLY! The house had some toys available that my granddaughter enjoyed it also has board games. Our ohana looks forward to our next trip!

Incredible price and home

Our family of 8 stayed here for a week and a half. It was perfectly clean, all furniture was comfortable and in great condition, the kitchen had very nice cookware and plates/etc, nice toys and games for the kids, excellent laundry room and clothes line. What an awesome place to stay! The house was beautiful! Plenty of towels, bedding, and even games for the kids!! Neal is an awesome host! Great communication with him. And yes, there was liquid soap in every bathroom! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Keurig! Plus water, juice and snacks upon our arrival what a special surprise! Little known secret… there is a True Value store just a mile down the road that has everything you may have forgot to pack, and more! Will definitely be staying here again on our next vacation.

From beginning to end it was great. All the instructions was given days before. Easy to find. Keyless entry. Super clean. Lots of space and no clutter.
