Everyone enjoys a beautiful view but it's not often that you are able to experience one from your front porch or backyard. Well, at Lookout Hill Cottage, you can!

Located just four miles from Luckenbach and fourteen from downtown Fredericksburg, this home is ideal for anyone looking to experience all of the Hill Country's great attractions and then come home to peace and tranquility. The master bedroom includes a wonderful king bed while the second bedroom features a terrific queen. A beautiful full bathroom with a clawfoot tub and handheld shower wand is conveniently located in the hallway between each bedroom. A delightful full kitchen is perfect for creating delicious dinners or just a savory cup of coffee in the morning. Outside, two covered porches are pleasant places to enjoy your surroundings.

*As long as they are 15 years of age or older, children are allowed at the house.

*Due to the steepness of the driveway, motorcycles are not allowed at the property.

Please Note: You are renting a cabin in the Hill Country which means you may encounter wildlife (Snakes, Deer, Racoons, ETC). Please be aware of your surroundings, and take caution while driving at night. You may also encounter the various bugs, spiders, scorpions and mice that live in the country AND sometimes do make their way inside. All properties do utilize pest control services on a regular basis BUT this does not guarantee no pests or bugs will be visible.

Anniversary Celebration

This house was absolutely beautiful and perfect for us! I took my own little videos of all the rooms to have a reminder! The hosts thought of everything. We were there 4 days, could have moved in 🥰🥰.

We have been visiting Fredericksburg for over 30 years and have stayed in many homes. The Lookout Hill Cottage is now my favorite! It has such a warm and cozy vibe and the hosts have thought of everything. They provided a gift basket with wine, chips and salsa, etc. and every sink was outfitted with Fredericksburg Farms hand soap and lotion in different scents. The view is absolutely incredible!! I honestly did not want to leave.

Great cabin

This was a wonderful place to stay. It had everything we could possibly need. the cabin was beautifully decorated and immaculate. The view from the picture window was amazing! Close enough to all the places we wanted to visit and yet very private. Excellent experience!

Amazing

We have stayed here twice now and it has been incredible both times. It's immaculately clean, has everything you need/want, and the views are priceless. In addition the owners left a very generous welcome gift to make our stay even more special. This will be our go to place to stay every time we are in town!

Absolutely loved this place! The owners thought of everything - from a welcome basket of wine and treats to bathrobes to local lotions, shampoos, etc. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook. And the VIEW - just amazing.

Hill Country at its Best!

Wonderful stay--we will definitely return! Thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet and scenic views. We were grateful for the goodies left for us, which were such a treat! Also appreciated the attention to detail and how well-stocked the cottage was; only negative would be that the outdoor grill needs some upkeep.

Cozy home, Superb View

My husband and I, along with our son and his wife spent three days in Lookout Hill Cottage, and enjoyed our time immensely. The cottage has a knockout view of the hills and everything we needed to be comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed to prepare our meals. The location was convenient to all the things one wants to do in the area. We highly recommend this house!

Even Better than Expected!

The property was so charming with absolutely breathtaking views. We woke and sipped coffee to 12 deer just out the back window. They set out the cutest little gift basket. Even with storms and gloomy weather, our stay was so serene. The minute we got there we were really shocked that it was even nicer than we expected! Highly recommend!

The Good Life!

What a beautiful slice of heaven. The house was perfect in every way. Secluded, well stocked, impressively decorated and those views...WOW! The owners truly went above and beyond on the special touches to make this lovely home even more special. My husband and I visit the Hill Country numerous times a year and this is hands down the best rental we have experienced. (PS the hill is steep just as mentioned but it soooo worth it to see those views!)

Perfect little place

We really had a great time. The house has all of the things you will need for the weekend. The driveway is very steep so when it is wet, you will slip. My truck is all wheel drive and we had a hard time if we slowed down too much. We saw wildlife and it was so neat.

Lookout Hill Cottage

We have stayed in MANY homes in Fredericksburg, and this was by far the best. The house itself is adorable, the view is incredible, and the extra amenities the owners left were so thoughtful. They thought of everything you could need and more. I can't say enough positive things about this home and the owners. We plan to make this a multiple times a year getaway. We rested, we shopped, we ate, and then sat on the porch every night and just stared in awe at the view and the stars. It was an amazing stay!

Loved this little Cottage - super close to Lukenbach and not too far from town APPROX 20 mins. Beds are super comfy. Gorgeous Sunset and Sunrise. Only down fall NO shower only tub with low water pressure. Funny watching a grown man bathe :) Overall great stay!

Amazing!

The cutest little cottage! Loved the welcome basket and all of the personal touches. Everything is absolutely beautiful! Enjoyed drinking coffee in the morning with a beautiful sunrise while a few young deer came and visited. Only downfall was the tub. Very low water pressure which made it a little difficult to bathe and wash hair. Other than that, it was outstanding!

Besides being a lovely house and having awesome views there isn't a thing you could possibly want or need in this house except a shower because after 3 joints being replaced and overall decreased movement I am not able to take a tub bath.

Outstanding View

This property is the reason we love the hill country. We come to Fredericksburg often and always in search of property with a view. We have found it. This will be our rental from now on. We love the location, out of town from all the people. But close enough for quick drive to stores. Clean and just perfect size. A little awkward with no shower but I can see why. All the amenities you need. Lovely snack basket and bottle of wine.

georgeous house and view

Great home, furnishings and location. Could not watch the 3 television sets---no clear instructions for guests aged over 60. Low water pressure, no shower. Grill was out of gas. I am sure these little items will be fixed,. as ot is sort of expensive at $300, for VRBO.
