This area is amazing, condo was fully equiped and even had a shared bbq area with a wonderfull view and pic nic tables with ocean view. The landscape and pool area with spa were just wonderful.

Great condo in Princeville 🌸

Condo was clean and complex has a ton of fun amenities, including games, two pools (one for adults only), fitness center, beautiful lookout over the ocean. Our stay was very peaceful and relaxing. Thanks so much !!

Princeville Stay

We have stayed at these condos several times in the past and rented many units from vrbo. The facilities were excellent but the unit itself is badly in need of refurbishment. Furniture old, worn and dirty, leaking bath faucets, dishwasher didn't work, no safe for valuables. Generally disappointing, especially for the premium price.

The room itself is older and a little rundown, but the location in the amenities of the resort make up for it. Things were clean, the bed was soft- a memory foam mattress. Good pillows. I wish this unit would’ve had some minimum spices. We bought salt and pepper and oil and left it, but there was none. Appreciated the beach chairs. Remember, there’s no air conditioning that they had good fans in the rooms.

A nice spot on the north side of the island

The Cliffs is a great complex; the pool area is pleasant and there is a designated “adults only spa” in addition to another spa that kids are welcome to use. Monday nights there is a reception at Four O’Clock for guests in the library area at the corner entrance to the complex. Our unit was managed by Kauai Vacation Rentals but the on-site management also helps if you need something. Check-in and out is easy and the stay is relaxing.

Our stay was just OK

The unit was clean, but very dated. Needs complete remodel: old cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms, few cabinet doors damaged, popcorn ceiling, lanai screen doors falling off the slides, so they constantly need be put back. Plus no condiments in the kitchen except salt and pepper, no shampoo or conditioner - never stayed in any condo, which would not have even "generic" ones.

Such a Cozy Spot!

I loved it here! Traveled by myself for a week vacation from work, family, everything. This place grew on me. It is a bit dated but as each day passed I loved it more and more. Comfortable furniture (couch, chairs, tables, BED). Well stocked kitchen. Where it is located on the property it is really quiet and mellow pretty much all the time. There is no AC but even in August the many fans were totally sufficient. Did I mention that I LOVED it? :)

Perfect spot!

We had an amazing time at the cliffs in Princeville! We spent Christmas here and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas dinner. The barbecue views cannot be beat. It was so nice having a “home” to come home to after exploring on the island each day. Having beach chairs and umbrella was awesome! The Cliffs staff was helpful. Our flight was delayed and we didn’t arrive until 11:30pm, contacting staff and getting into our unit was super easy. Kauai vacation staff were also helpful and responsive, definitely would book again!

Can’t wait to come back!

What a wonderful condo! We have stayed in Princeville before, but never at The Cliffs. If you want to feel “vacationed”, this is the place for you. Close to the tropical, super warm pools with waterfalls and hot tubs. The property has a beautiful view of the sunset, palm tree hammock and so many amenities provides complimentary. My husband and I enjoyed a date with complimentary bikes for a ride to the 1 Hotel Hanalei for coffee, spectacular! Also they provide equipment for pickle ball, shuffleboard, basketball, putting green, and playground. The condo has beach chairs and a fully stocked kitchen. The pull out couch was very comfortable too. Thank you for wonderful stay!

The pictures are not accurate the rug was stained the master bathroom bathtub was not working properly the blinds were torn the vents lamps and fixtures were dirty and we had workers that were working on the top units starting at 7:00 am for 4 days and the property manager and owners were notified not to rent the units and yet they did without notice to us

It is definitely an older condo with quite dated bathrooms and furniture, but we didn't spend much time inside. The pool/jacuzzi area is quite nice and has an adults only section that was nice to be away from the noisy kids. Nice tennis and paddleboard courts, beautiful lawns with great views from the cliffs down to the water. The propane grills were in multiple locations and very easy to use, a nice touch by the property. Not a bad place, we certainly enjoyed our time. Pay attention to all the extra fees, don't get caught by surprise, including the $15 per day parking fee. The cleaning fee was quite high. The property did have 2 nice beach chairs, beach umbrella, cooler chest (not wheeled) and beach towels.

Overall good place to stay

It was nice to see that some of the past comments about negative aspects had been improved upon. Dowels cut to be able to have the sliding doors partially open with some security for one thing. The birds on the back lanai were pretty persistent in wanting to join us. No exhaust fan in either bathroom wasn't ideal. There were some maintenance issues that could be dealt with. Running toilet, cabinet doors hanging loosely, frayed blinds, etc. Washer was very small capacity, but worked well and was nice to have. I would have honestly packed less cloths if I had thought it through. Lack of AC wasn't great, but there were two large fans and two ceiling fans. Still, it was February and never got above upper 70's and it was still warm in the room. Very large room though, plenty of space to move around in. Bed was very comfortable to me (unlike some of the other reviews). Lots of kitchen tools and cookware. Pool and hot tub were very nice and clean. There were two nice beach chairs, a couple of soft coolers, and nice beach towels for our use.
