This house was perfect for our stay in Clayton! It’s beautifully designed and conveniently located close to town and the state parks we visited. The beds and furniture were all very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location. Beautiful property. But bring your toolbox, batteries, trash bags, paper towels.Property could be perfect if it was maintained properly. The batteries were dead in the smoke alarms, so we were woke up in the middle of the night. The alarms were too high to reach and we had no ladder. We had one kitchen garbage bag for five days, no extras. The lock on front door had dead batteries so the door beeped day and night. Finally husband bought batteries and fixed the problem. Otherwise, turn up the tv or fan in the bedroom.

We’re sorry your stay did not meet your expectations. Unfortunately, none of these concerns were brought to our attention during your five-night stay. Had we been made aware, we would have been happy to send someone over immediately to replace batteries, provide additional supplies, or address any other issues. We only learned of these concerns after checkout, when we no longer had the opportunity to resolve them. We did offer compensation for the discomfort you described, which was declined. We’re proud to have consistently received very positive feedback from our previous guests, so this experience is certainly not typical of our property. We appreciate your feedback and regret that we weren’t given the opportunity to address these concerns during your stay.

It was a weekend getaway with family. It’s a lovely property. We had a couple of minor glitches but the property owner handled them promptly.

Beautiful place surrounded by nature! We loved the tall windows! Comfortable, convenient, and perfect for our stay in Clayton. Great place at the end of a quiet gravel drive, yet just 7 or 8 minutes to town!
