You'll love the location and its surroundings, feeling away from all the hustle and bustle yet only a 5-minute drive away from Ohakune. If you're planning something a bit different this trip, try your hand at a horse trek with Ruapehu Homestead Horse Treks located just around the corner. Take your pick from the local cafe's and bars or local shops. Mountain Road, leading to Turoa skifield, is a 5-minute drive away as well so this makes for a great base for any keen snow bunnies!
