This is a lovely cabin in a beautiful area. We had a peaceful and quiet stay - just what we wanted. Cabin has a nice yard for pets to play. It’s also very close to Luray.

Host was welcoming, cabin was beautiful, great location. Description does not mention that you have to bring your own towels and linens. The washing machine smells like mildew pretty bad so we did not use it to wash our clothes. Lastly, the fireplace gives off a strong gas smell, we thought it would burn off but the only thing that stopped the smell was turning it off.

I am sorry you missed all the information about the linens not being provided. We send it with all the check in information and on the amenities list! However in December bookings we include linens on our reservations so this will not be an issue again. I frequent the cabin and have never smelled gas in the fireplace and we have never has a complaint before, I do not know why it smelled while you were visiting. I will bring some washing machine cleaner down and flush our machine thanks for the insights.

What a fantastic stay. The place is beautiful and extremely clean. It has that fantastic wood smell, is comfortable, has WiFi, a great TV, and is 20mins from anything you could need. We will be back for sure.

Everything we hoped for in a weekend trip! The house smelled like cedar, was clean and very ample space. The hot tub was easy to operate; kitchen appliances helped cut down on eating out costs - would highly recommend and plan on making a reservation again!
