Walk out the door and you are on the beach!! Cottage is located on Locust Point Beach with beautiful views of West Sister Island. Anchor your boat or jet ski on the buoy out front or enjoy a campfire in the evening. There are plenty of activities in the area, including Cedar Point (35 minutes), Put-In-By (15 minutes to Jet Express), Hollywood Casino (30 minutes), Ottawa National Wildlife Refugee and Magee Marsh for the bird watching enthusiast (5 minutes). Also, in the spring this is a world class walleye fishing area!!!

Lakeside Cottage

This cottage is close to all the birding hotspots. It is clean and cozy, with the added benefit of being on the Lake Erie shore. Hope to return next year.

Absolutely wonderful

We fell in love the second we got there!! Beach was just a few feet away from us. The home was stocked and very clean. Owner replied with in seconds to any questions we had. Loved sitting down to eat and seeing the beautiful lake view. We had a wonderful 3 days. WE WILL RETURN AND WE WILL RECOMMEND TO OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS.. Thank you Mark for the wonderful memories me and my friends made there.

You can't get any closer to the lake!

We enjoyed the view very much. The house itself was not fancy, but had all the basics. The only things we really disliked were the very noisy furnace (which ran quite a bit since it was quite cold while we were there) and the child sized toilet seat.

Great Location

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had family members coming and going all week. The cottage is comfortable and has great beach access. We were a little disappointed that there is no wi-fi even though it is listed online. Some supplies, such as toilet tissue and trash bags, were not furnished. But, overall, it is a very nice place to stay. We did have an interesting experience Friday evening when some fishermen rang the doorbell expecting to stay there for a weekend fishing charter. They had the lock box code and all the same information that I had. It was some kind of mixup in booking. I believe the owner found them another place to stay. Whew!!

Can’t get much closer to the beach! We loved being able to step out directly onto the beach from the cottage, and enjoyed the views! Everything was exactly as stated
