This gorgeous luxury home has a total of 4500 sq ft, which includes five screened-in porches and decks. With an elevator to all three floors, rooms include a huge eat-in gourmet kitchen, a game/coffee room for relaxing in recliners or working/playing at the table with ocean views which has a wet bar, mini-fridge dishwasher. Off the main living area is a separate sunroom, perfect for playing a board game or taking in an early morning sunrise with a relaxing cup of coffee. The massive 3rd floor great room features a fireplace and soaring cathedral ceilings, a dining room seating twelve which is adjacent to the kitchen island seating four more. Guests can also gather at tables and chairs for alfresco dining in all six outdoor areas. This incredible home s private back yard and large patio are ideal for gathering at the end of the day.

Choose which of the seven bedrooms you d like, each equipped with full custom private baths, TVs, USB ports, and overhead fans. In addition to TVs in all the bedrooms, there are three more in gathering areas, along with games, cards, puzzles and dozens of books and DVD movies! Plus, a pool table/ping pong combo is on the 18 x 20 1st floor porch.

The property was in excellent condition, just like the photos. Love the modern bathrooms in every bedroom, the extremely well stocked kitchen, the balconies with a view of the ocean, the lack of a giant list of rules. There was even a nice selection of books on hand. The personal welcome bag was a lovely touch. Would definitely like to stay here again, depending on the size of our group. It's also so nice that there is a smaller sitting room with a little kitchenette on the 2nd floor, which helped some remote workers in our group get their stuff done in peace. Couldn't ask for a better place.

the location is wonderful and the house is wonderful - the outdoor furniture is dirty and needs to be pressure washed- parts of the interior need to be cleaned and updated - the cleaning service could be better - in june we found a pill on the floor so wasn't vacuumed very well and our sept stay we found random things on the carpet as well - but we will back again next year - thank you

(WiFi is excellent.) We particularly enjoyed the third-floor decks, with views of the ocean, and being just steps from the beach. Agents and owners were very responsive to any questions/concerns. Favorite Dewey Beach House

We've spent our Dewey Beach vacation at 12 Chicago St. the last 3 summers. We take care of it just like it's our second home! It's such a lovely place and we really appreciate the privacy of all the bedroom/bathroom spaces. The many outdoor decks/ porch areas also give great options for morning coffee alone or time to do a quick call for work. We have 4 multi-generational families that share the house and we find it's perfect for all of us. The elevator is a great add-on. We love that all of the furnishings in the house are high quality and the kitchen is pretty well stocked for cooking. Proximity to the beach is great and the views are amazing day or night. The only issue we had this year was with the Happy Stays App. It processed the payment from the wrong account and I got charged a payment penalty. I was not able to get anyone from Happy Stays to return my calls to rectify the issue. Other than that, the house is amazing and our family loves it!

We took a vacation with extended family at 12 Chicago Street - my brother and I with our spouses and young adult children. Grandma was supposed to come to, but was sick and couldn't make it. The house was perfect for a multi-generation group - the elevator was a wonderful amenity! Great way to get supplies up to the kitchen. We were pleasantly surprised to find a new spare refrigerator adjacent to the kitchen - perfect for storing drinks so that we could keep the main fridge for food. Spaces were super comfortable and welcoming. Beds were very comfortable. The only thing that could be improved is a different washing machine - it was one that doesn't have an agitator, and it was very hard to get it to spin the water out of the laundry. Other than that - the location was perfect - we could see the ocean from several balconies, and we spent a lot of time outside - we ate dinner on the back deck almost every night. Thank you so much for sharing your family home with us! If we decide to do this next year, I just hope that Grandma will be able to come!

As one person put it “this place is built so you don’t want to leave”. The owners go out of their way to accommodate you and make you feel welcome, along with the rental agency. We come down to play cards and cook. Everything you need to do both are in the house. The owners greet us with champagne and fresh decks of cards. It’s a five star operation that not only they should be proud of but ther mom and dad have to be looking down and smiling at what they have accomplished! Dewey Beach for a Family Reunion

This house is even more beautiful than the pictures and had everything we could have wished for. We gathered family from 13 states and needed two houses. We called this The Over-Fifty House, and my kids and I loved the seven bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. We put THEIR kids and grandkids in what we named The Millenials House, just up the street. We had dinner teams who bonded over menus and meal prep in the completely stocked kitchen. We watched our old DVDs in the huge living room, congregated in smaller groups on the many porches, and, of course, spent days on the beach, starting with sunrise over the ocean each morning. Tricia took care of all the details and was always available to answer questions. The only suggestion I have is that linen service be included. The additional cost would be hardly noticed in the original contract. All in all, this was a perfect vacation home, and I am telling all my friends.

We have stayed at the house for 3 years but have been going down to Dewey for many years. The house needs a deep clean, very deep, including the outside shower. It also needs repairs throughout each bedroom and new mattresses. They are all soft and lumpy with a valley in the middle of each of them. Location is great and lots of room, but for the price it needs attention.

Nice house with some thoughtful amenities but it’s starting to show the effects of heavy use. Most mattresses are lumpy, misshapen and close to needing replacement, as are pillows. Bed comforters need washing but are too large for the washer. One mattress cover in the bunk room had fairly fresh urine stain and odor - we took it off and left it off and washed it on our last day. Dining chairs are getting rickety and most beach chairs were broken, but we are used to that and always bring our own beach chairs. Kitchen was unusually well-stocked, which was nice but the top oven will soon need maintenance. Flooring and bathrooms were more high-end than many other rentals.

We loved that everyone had a private bath and that there was enough space for private time away from chaos and kids! We loved the home’s location and the super easy jaunt to the beach every day. It was easy to make trips back for lunch and bathroom trips as needed during the day. We especially enjoyed that the beach seemed to be less crowded than our past locations which were closer to the heart of the Dewey mainstream. That’s exactly what we were looking for this year! Our family spent lots of time cooking, playing games, and enjoying the multiple decks and screened porches so there was a gathering space for any time of day or night! To the homeowners we say thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. We took good care of it while we were there and we hope to make it our annual Dewey vacation rental choice! We’ve been visiting Dewey for over 30 years and this was our best year yet! I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: the house is in a great location and big enough for everyone to be together but to still have their space. The house needs maintenance, it needed it last year when we stayed and it needs more this year. Half of freezer still wasn't fixed from last year a sink in one of the bathrooms was broken and the beds need to be replaced.

Everything was just as we remember except not as clean, dirty and missing mattress pads, mold/staining of the grout in the showers and a few dust bunnies in the corners at time of check in - the place has been much cleaner in years past. Another suggestion - there were no tongs in the kitchen, we would recommend added 1-2 sets.We look forward to visiting again next year!!!

Perfect Beach Property.

This house was absolutely stunning. It was steps away from the beach and the perfect size for my party of 12 which included 3 children. My whole family wanted to stay another week or longer. As soon as we walked in it felt like home and we noticed right away it was extremely clean. There are so many beautiful views of the ocean from this house including 3 amazing decks. It is steps away from the beach and is stocked with most beach necessities. The layout of the house is very unique with the kitchen upstairs. It's awesome to be able to see the ocean while preparing meals. The kitchen was stocked with an ample amount of plates, utensils, pots, pans, glassware, and any other piece of kitchen equipment you would need. This is the first house I've rented that I truly miss already and hope I can reserve again next year!!
