Comfortable family villa, with shaded garden and good size pool, located in La Font just outside charming town of Pollensa. 15 minutes from a number of good beaches. The villa is traditional in style but comfortable for our family of 8 with small children

Fabulous stay in Pollensa

We have just returned from a fabulous stay at Can Mena. The villa has everything you need, lots of character,,air con in all of the bedrooms, lovely outdoor living space and a fantastic pool. An easy 20 minute walk into the beautiful centre of Pollensa with a great choice of lovely restaurants and shops. Will definitively return soon, Thankyou Rosa for being a great host

Pollenca Heaven!

Lovely rustic property with fabulous garden and pool. Great outside space for relaxing and eating and the cherry on top was being within walking distance to the town. Properties are often described as being within walking distance (if you're prepared to walk for 30+ minutes) but this was genuinely easily accessible.

The villa was exceptional, clean and spacious. Pool big enough for family fun, sun loungers galore. The day bed a real hit for the sunbathers and those wanting a siesta. The hosts were brilliant, Rosa is just wonderful. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back again.

Very nice villa, well equipped and good location for exploring Pollenca town and the wonderful surroundings. Nice welcome from owner Rosa. We really enjoyed our week here and it is a great place to relax and have a nice holiday with friends and family. The garden, the pool, the outdoor kitchen, everything was over our expectations. The only minus is that the dubbelbeds are a little bit small for two people otherwise everything is perfect! We would really recommend this place to anyone and we will definetely come here again.

You would enjoy a stay here; we did.

Our family of five (mum, dad + three children) had a most-enjoyable one-week stay here Summer/22 and would recommend this accommodation to others. First-impressions upon arrival were that we had made a very good choice in this booking. The property is spacious as are the grounds, which have a most pleasant garden area in a lovely setting which is mainly surrounded by mountains. It's possible to walk into the centre of Pollencia in around 15-17 minutes (and we did for dinner some nights). We always hire a car and one is convenient to exploring and grabbing groceries from the two nearby supermarkets. Puerto Pollensa is just a ten-minute drive away if you want to visit the beach; of Cala St.Vincent’s small beaches are a similar distance also. We were lucky and were treated to a Firework-display directly in-front of the swimming pool, due to their being a festival on in Pollencia! A most relaxing setting with plenty of space. We would stay here again; recommended.

First class in all respects

We had a two week stay here in Can MENA. It was idyllic. Everything was catered for. Beautiful bed linen. Spotless house, plenty of space, perfect pool. Luxurious facilities. We highly recommend - and especially the owner Rosa - who was so friendly and courteous and answered all our questions promptly. 10 minute walk into Pollenca old town, five minute drive to Puerto pollenca and Formentor beaches. The only comment I would make is that the listing on VRbO says capacity of 7 but in fact it is 8. Three double beds and two single beds (four bedrooms). Loads of outdoor space, shady corners, deep terrace, spacious and cool sitting room. If you are mostly self catering , as we were, property could probably do with some more cutlery and serving spoons but not a deal breaker by any stretch of the imagination. Superb stay and worth every euro!

Beautiful Villa, lovely owner

We could not have been more delighted than we were with this gorgeous home from home. Rosa was so kind and helpful, so fast to respond to messages, for example we needed a taxi at one point. She is a gem. Left us fresh eggs, some wine and crisps, bless her. The villa is up a narrow lane, but our 5 seater taxi driver very very gingerly negotiated that. Our hire car wasn't so wide.. There were five of us. Hubby, me, our daughter and two teen grandkids 16&18, who adored the pool, being serious water babies and mariners. Our daughter was tempted to hide away at the end of our perfect week and not leave! There is a twin bedroom with a double bedroom separated by a bathroom then a bigger double bedroom closer to the kitchen, which is very well equipped, a joy to be in. outside from the living area is an outdoor, covered dining area overlooking the garden and pool, with stairs leading up to the fourth, large kingsize bedroom which has the comfiest bed, extra pillows were no problem and bedding was pristine, really pristine. All perfect. The twin beds are also softer incidentally if you life a softer bed as I do! The garden is very private and location is excellent for going into the old town, a 15-20 minute walk, with route straight across the main road into the town.. or for driving to the port for shopping at Lidl or Eroski, both side by side and very well stocked. About 5-10 minutes away,.We have hired villas before in Pollensa LOVED this one.

Wir haben eine wundervolle Woche hier verbracht. Das Haus ist geräumig und sehr gut ausgestattet und der Garten ist einfach großartig. Sehr praktisch ist, dass Pollenca fußläufig zu erreichen ist und auch Supermärkte nur ein paar Minuten entfernt sind. Die Besitzerin Rosa war bei Fragen schnell zur Stelle und sehr nett. Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit!

Una casa enclavada en una bonita zona de Mallorca lo tiene todo senderismo ,mar y el puerto de Pollensa.la casa es magnifica muy amplia con todo lo necesario para que tu estancia sea de lujo.Un gran jardín con una bonita piscina un porche magnifico donde comer cenar y pasar un buen rato,en general un de diez .gracias Rosa por dejarnos compartir tu propiedad.Amenazamos con repetir un saludo.

The grounds and exterior of the property were amazing. Lovely Mallorca style villa with good facilities lots of nice touches to give a really homely feel. Beatiful shady terrace with lots of comfy seating. Sunbeds very comfortable. We appreciated the milk,juice,water etc in the fridge on arrival.Beware the very narrow approach to the villa -very pleased we had a small hire car!

The most beautiful property I have ever stayed in

This is a very special villa. The grounds are large and peaceful, it is beautiful inside and out and the garden is tranquil and like a little paradise. We barely left the villa because it was so lovely. The scenery around the villa is also beautiful with the mountains and views of puig de maria. We enjoyed seeing the booted eagles flying overhead. The pictures on the website of this villa do not do it justice. There is a lovely outdoor kitchen, which has a BBQ, sink and outdoor fridge. There are two swings and a full size table tennis set, plus additional toys for outside and the pool (kept in the outdoor utility house). Alongside the driveway is a wonderful fruit garden/orchard, with an abundance of grapes, figs, limes, apples. The layout of the house was perfect for our extended family group. One couple had the upstairs room, accessible by the outside stairs and this worked well. We have stayed in quite a few villas before, but we all agreed that Can Mena is the most beautiful we have ever stayed in.

The villa was wonderful but we thought we had booked a 4 bedroom property. Upon arrival we were told the fourth bedroom which has an outside staircase was not included in the price and if we required it there would be an additional charge .Be aware of this as the description at the time of our booking did not mention this. We had to pay additional costs but at a reduced rate taking into consideration the lack of information we had recieved. The details on the website have now been updated but double check if you're looking for 4 bedrooms. Great location ,clean and well presented with lots of quirky art work, maybe time to replace mattresses and dishwasher but fabulous place to stay and within easy walking distance to the Pollensa town. Hammock was great, would recommend to friends and family.

Perfect family holiday

We booked this villa for 6 adults and one child and it was almost perfect! I would thoroughly recommend this property. The listing description is accurate. It is peaceful but within walking distance of the lovely town of Pollenca which has a huge variety of restaurants to try. The supermarkets are just a 3 minute drive away. The pool is perfect with the gentle steps and the depth at the other end. The weather was not good when we were there, so it was a little cold for soft Southerners and a Brazilian! Clean towels were provided but beach towels were not. Rosa was very welcoming and the property was well maintained with a gardener and a pool man arriving every couple of days. It would perhaps be helpful for this information to be written down in the house so that their arrival early in the morning is not a shock to the guests. This villa should be booked out all summer as it has a perfect location and options for all combinations of family/friends. Thank Rosa. Elaine & Mike

Entspannter Urlaub in sehr schönem Ferienhaus

Mit 4 Erwachsenen und 2 Kleinkindern hatten wir einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in dem schönen Ferienhaus. Das Haus selbst sehr sauber, gut eingerichtet/ausgestattet, das Grundstück weitläufig und ebenfalls sehr gepflegt. Toller Pool. Ideal zum Entspannen. Auch unsere Kinder haben sich sehr wohl gefühlt (es gab sogar zwei Schaukeln und ein paar Spielgeräte). Sehr ruhig gelegen, Ort in Laufweite, Supermärkte mit Auto oder Fahrrad gut zu erreichen. Netter und unkomplizierter Kontakt zur Vermieterin.
