Very nice villa with an extraordinarily friendly host. Neighbors underneath were very quiet and friendly, too. Great view from the balkony and proper beds, which was important to us. Could use an air con for hot days, but we were out in the beautiful surroundings, anyway.

Everything exceptional, the Villa, the hosts, the local area! The Villa was clean and comfortable, really felt like home! The outside dining area was superb and conducive to a number of great suppers and fine wine! The entire experience…relaxing! Simone and Angela were responsive and attentive, questions or concerns readily addressed. They provided recommendations and insights into the local area, things to see and places to dine! Overall, the Villa is a fantastic way to experience local culture and cuisine, to relax, and to truly experience Italy with great hosts!

Beautiful home and property

My family of six siblings thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Galeotti. Simone and Angela were excellent communicators and helped us with restaurant and wine tasting recommendations (and reservations). The walk into Camaiore was not too difficult and we enjoyed having coffee and pastries at Lorenzo Pasticceria & Caffè (if driving, you can access it from Via Bellosguardo, but if walking, it's a very busy road, so walk up Via Gugeliemo Oberdan and walk into the public parking lot and it's on your right about halfway through the lot). The town is small and charming and we enjoyed being out of the hubbub of bigger cities! And the beach is very close, as is beautiful Lucca.

Das Anwesen ist wunderschön und verfügt über einen großen Aufenthaltsbereich mit schattenspendenden Pavillons. Der Pool ist nicht groß, aber groß genug, um sich bei den hohen Temperaturen, bei denen wir vor Ort waren, zu erfrischen. Außerdem ist man in 20 Minuten am Meer. Das Haus ist innen (z. B. Küche) wie außen (Liegen, Stühle und Tische) perfekt ausgestattet. Das Frühstück mit Aussicht auf die italienische Landschaft ist ein absolutes Highlight (siehe Foto).

Aufenthalt war gut

Das Grundstück ist schön, allerdings war die Einfahrt für 2 von 3 Autos zu steil, da diese am Tor aufgesetzt haben. Der Pool ist ein Aufstellpool und in Ordnung, aber nichts Besonderes. Den Whirlpool sucht man vergeben es gibt eine Badewanne anscheinend mit der Funktion aber bei dem Wasserdruck wird das glaub nichts. Außerdem gibt es einen Mitbewohner – der Vater des Vermieters wohnt in der Wohnung darunter. Er ist zwar ein netter Typ, kann aber auch mal klingeln, wenn es etwas lauter wird. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter ließ leider zu wünschen übrig.

Sehr schöne Lage, großzügige Terrasse mit kleinem Pool, alle Geräte im Haus, ruhige Gegend, sehr nette und aufmerksame Vermieter. Das einzige zu bemängeln ist der Wasserdruck der Duschen:-)

Schönes Haus mit Mängeln

Sehr schönes Haus mit tollem Garten. Zum Stand mindestens 20 Minuten mit dem Auto zu fahren. Manche Möbel sollten ausgetauscht werden insbesondere einige Matratzen. Augenscheinlich war es sauber allerdings war in der Kaffeemaschine der Filter mit Kaffee verschimmelt noch drin. Manches Geschirr war ebenso nicht richtig gespült worden. Es waren 3 Rollen WC Papier vorhanden für 6 Erwachsene. Ebenso fehlten Spühlmaschinentabs. Hätte man evtl. Auf Nachfrage bekommen, wir haben welches gekauft. Handtücher für draußen waren nicht vorhanden obwohl in der Beschreibung vorgesehen. Diese Dinge waren ärgerlich aber nicht schlimm. Was gar nicht geht sind die Duschen. Eine ist wie auch auf dem Bild zu sehen ohne jegliche Abtrennung. Im anderen Bad ebenso keine Abtrennung in der Badewanne. War wiederum auch nicht schlimm da sowieso fast kein Wasser aus den Duschköpfen kam. Für 3 Frauen mit langem dichten Haar keine Chance diese zu waschen. Wurde dann am Strand gegen Gebühr erledigt. Fazit: ein tolles Haus in toller Lage, das einfach ein bisschen mehr Pflege bräuchte.

The visitors arrive at 1:00pm when the entry was ready for 5:00pm , and where cleaning. They want to entry the Villa anyway and we tell them that we most clean from a previous family that left that morning . But they tell me that they don’t care, that they will fixing the rest , because they were tired of the trip . We clean up the most Nevertheless from the time was in front of the Villa 1:00pm and the previous family left the property that morning 10:00 am and was a family with small kids. Everything else from this travel frustration is liars , we want to make it happen for them , it does not matter of his bad mood. and this is the result. We will continue to work hard, because we love the work we doing for the travelers.

Spggiorno con amici in campagna

Casa molto bella, soprattutto gli spazi esterni che abbiamo sfruttato per griglia e piscina. Unico neo: abbiamo trovato la pulizia della cucina poco approfondita. Buona la posizione anche per visitare città come Lucca e Pisa. Consigliata per godersi qualche giorno in relax. Segnalo che la casa è una bifamiliare e un piano è occupato dai genitori dei proprietari, assolutamente non invadenti.

Wunderschöner Urlaub in der Toskana sowohl kulturell als auch landschaftlich

Die Vermieter sind sehr lieb und haben sich immer sofort um unsere Belange gekümmert. Sehr schönes und gepflegtes Haus mit traumhaften Gartengrundstück - u.a. mit Obstbäumen, die einladen zum Naschen - ideal mit Kindern. Die Gegend selbst ist wunderschön und auch bei schlechtem Wetter kann man viel unternehmen. Supermarkt und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in unmittelbarer Nähe im Ortskern. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und freuen uns schon heute darauf! Gracie!

14 traumhafte Tage, geeignet um Corona fast zu vergessen

Super Gastgeber, sehr schöne Lage, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten in kurzer Entfernung. Strand 10 min, Golfplatz 20 min, viele Restaurants im Umkreis von 5 km. Haus, zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber super sauber und gepflegt.

Traumhafte Location

Die Lage der Villa ist der absolute Hammer. Wir haben dort 2 Wochen mit 2 Familien (incl. 5 Kinder zwischen 5 und 9 Jahren) verbracht. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Eltern der Vermieters wohnen im Untergeschoss des Hauses mit separatem Eingang und eigenem Garten. Sie kümmern sich um die Reinigung des Pools und stellten ab und an frisches Obst und Gemüse aus dem großen Garten für uns auf den Terassentisch. Der Vermieter hat uns jede Frage, die wir im Zusammenhang mit der Planung von Ausflügen, Essen etc. hatten, innerhalb kürzester Zeit beantwortet und stand immer zur Verfügung wenn an ihn brauchte. Zudem betreibt er eine Pizzaria im Ort mit sehr leckerer Pizza, wo wir auch abends ab und zu essen waren. Wir kommen wieder!!

Perfect place to stay!

Everything is close by -shops, the beach, great restaurants etc. Angelas house gives you the perfect surroundings. We loves the many small corners in the garden where we could enjoy the sjhade. Lots of space inside.

Traumhafte Ort

Es waren zwei traumhafte Wochen in Camaiore! Die schöne Willa und riesige Garten mit vielen Obstbäumen und Palmen hat unseren Aufenthalt dort unvergesslich gemacht. Die Schwiegereltern von Angela sind sehr nette und sehr hilfreiche Menschen. Es hat uns sehr viel Spaß gemacht und wir möchten auf jeden Fall wiederkommen)) P.S.: Vielen Dank für das Grillholz und für die Feigen am letzten Tag, die waren sehr lecker,,, habe grade die letzte gegessen😋 Beste Grüße von Bodensee Aleksandr und Marina

traumhafter Urlaub in einem traumhaften Haus

Wir verbrachten eine wundervolle Woche in dem sehr gut gepflegten Ferienhaus. Der Garten ist traumhaft angelegt & wir (4 Erwachsene & 4 Kinder) hatten eine schöne Zeit. Das Haus ist idealer Ausgangspunkt für Sightseeing und Strandurlaub.

Stunning location

Having recently spent a week at the villa, we had a wonderful time, the villa was well equipped and spacious, in a beautiful location with stunning views. Ideal for visiting the tourist highlights. A special thank you to the gentlemen living below the property as he was very helpful and obliging. Couple of things to point out - the electrics in the property were dated and sometimes not working. It would have been helpful to have an information folder pointing out the location of certain facilities, such as kitchen tea towels, hand towels, etc. Given that the villa can accommodate ten people we found the bathroom facilities a little restrictive, for example a downstairs W.C. would have been very welcome.

Amazing!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa. You feel like a royal when entering the gate and driving up the road to the villa. The view is amazing and the little pool is such a good way to cool down when the sun is burning too hot. Also, the host is very kind and just adds so much to this lovely place. Traumhafte Idylle

Unser Urlaub in Camaiore war Dank der wundervollen Villa traumhaft. Idyllisch gelegen an einem Berg hatte man einen schönen Blick auf das Tal und das Städtchen Camaiore. Selbst bei hohen Temperaturen wehte meistens ein Lüftchen, so dass man auch die Mittagssonne gut aushalten konnte. Wir waren 6 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder (5 und 7 Jahre) - durch die 4 Schlafzimmer und das großzügige Wohnzimmer mit der Terrasse und Balkon hatten wir ausreichend Platz. Aufgrund der Größe des Grundstücks war es angenehm ruhig - viele Bäume und Natur. Wer empfindlich auf Mücken reagiert, sollte um diese Jahreszeit in Italien allerdings Mückenspray dabei haben. Der Pool und der weitläufige Garten mit Obstbäumen luden zum Spielen ein, so dass wir nicht jeden Tag einen Ausflug planen mussten. Unsere Jungs haben in den zwei Wochen gut schwimmen gelernt :) Die Villa selbst ist sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Jeden Morgen saßen wir auf der Terrasse unter dem Pavillion aus Weinblättern und frühstückten in aller Ruhe - davon schwärmen wir noch heute. Der Strand ist ca. 10-15 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Nach Camaiore fährt man gut mit Fahrrad, Vespa oder Auto - im gemütlichen Stadtzentrum gibt es einen tollen Bäcker, kleine Lebensmittelläden und Freitag ist Markttag. Angela und ihre Schwiegereltern waren sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend - selbst als wir eine Autopanne hatten und nicht einkaufen fahren konnten, hat sie uns Essen und Getränke vorbei gebracht. Vielen Dank dafür!!! Wir kommen wieder.

Spacious typical Tuscan house with a fantastic view and an amazing garden

We enjoyed our stay in the house in August 2017 very much. There are several things that make this property THE place to guarantee an unforgettable holiday. The house has with wooden floors, very tidy and clean, with everything one may need in the kitchen, small balconies in 2 bedrooms and a big terrace overlooking the valley and other hills/mountains. The views are breathtaking whether you are looking from the house, if you are barbecuing or swimming in the pool. You would want to rent the house just for the views. The garden is big and very well tended. Lucky us, in August fruit was ripe and the owner regularly treated us to basketfuls during our stay which was very very nice of him. The pool is clean and fresh water is added daily but it is not huge, probably 5-6 meters long and about 4 meters wide. But it is definitely enough for kids to play in. During our stay the owners (elderly couple) sometimes stayed in the cellar part of the house too. However, this was not hindering at all. We could always address them in case of issues or questions (if our Italian was better). Angela and her husband were very helpful too. We had Angela's phone number in case of questions. We also received a discount at their restaurant when we went there at arrival. Last but not least, judge for yourself whether it is advantage or not but the WIFI was of a very good quality and there was a good connection from anywhere in the house and even from the terrace outside. All in all, definitely a great place to enjoy Tuscany.
