We enjoyed our stay here very much: beautiful cottage, well equipped, in a calm village. Some beaches, Cornwall attractions, shops and pubs are close-by. Plenty of space for 5 people (2 adults, 3 children) - nice kitchen and living room, cozy bedrooms. The bathrooms are particulary convenient, including a tub and a separate shower for the main bedroom. There is also a sitting area in the garden with a large table and a grill. Our host was really nice, helpful and responsive. Overall: highly recommendable.

Welch’s Cottage is a really lovely house. It has all the amenities you’d need and is a great location to explore lots of Cornwall’s beaches and towns. We had a lovely time.The steps to the upper garden have some rotting wood that could do with replacing - I was worried I might break the step.Even your dog is catered for with dog bowls and poo bags in case you forget yours.Thank you for a great holiday!

We spent a lovely Christmas as a family in Sharon’s cottage. It is in a quiet peaceful location with easy access to everything Cornwall has to offer. It is well equipped, cosy and comfortable.

A quaint and comfortable property in a good location for exploring the coast.

We enjoyed our stay at Welch's Cottage. It was well equipped and provided a good base for exploring the north Cornish coast. The furnishings were in areas a little dated but the garden and bright kitchen were highlights.

We considered ourselves lucky to have found such a lovely place to stay. A very comfortable and well furnished cottage in an ideal location for exploring this part of Cornwall. We would certainly like to book again.

Relaxing stay

Lovely cottage, as a dog owner would 100% recommend. Has all the facilities and amenities you need. One recommendation would be a handrail on the top of the stairs. Great location to explore North Cornwall. Thank you for the Prosecco and milk upon arrival.

Lovely cottage

Welch’s cottage is beautiful and in a rural quiet location. Perfectly situated to visit all the attractions of the North Cornwall coast. We loved Port Isaac. We had plenty of room as a family of six adults and a small dog. Lovely enclosed garden for the dog. Very helpful owners, would highly recommend.

Cornish holiday

Lovely cottage , great location . Really well equipped . Only suggestion possibly a small hand rail at top of stairs as my 79 yr old mother found them challenging . We would love to stay again and highly recomend .

Lovely characterful, well equipped cottage in very peaceful setting.

The cottage has everything you could possibly need. It is full of character and sympathetically modernised. The location is very convenient for the SW coastal path, beaches, Port Isaac, Boscastle Bodmin & Padstow but also in a very quiet village. We would definitely recommend it.

Cornish hideaway

Excellent property, as per description, all facilities worked, showers were great, host was prompt in replying to queries, nice welcome pack of essentials, milk, biscuits, proscecco.... nice secluded patio with furniture. Property in tiny hamlet well off the beaten track, but only 15 minutes to Port Isaac, and tintagel, 20 minutes to Rock.

A lovely week away

Great-sized cottage and very comfortable with 4 adults, 2 children and our dogs. Communication with the property owner was fantastic. Really lovely and peaceful. Well equipped. As in the property details, a car is definitely needed, but lots not far away. Highly recommend Polzeath beach. Would stay again.

Lovely cottage in rural setting

Lovely stay in lovely cottage. My only comment is the number of huge tractors which were thundering past the house. We didn’t feel safe walking the dog on the narrow lanes due to this although obviously this would be seasonal. The house is comfortable and well equipped and the back garden is a very pretty sun trap.. Overall enjoyed our visit.

Really enjoyed it. Peaceful location yet accessible for costal path walks and amenities.

We appreciated the hosts walking books, and for bottle of Prosecco, chocolate digestives and milk when we arrived. Also Netflix and sky catch up. Thanks very much

Lovely cottage to come home to after exploring!

A gorgeous cottage with really good sized bedrooms. My kids loved being there from the moment they woke up to when they went to sleep. The beds are super comfy!! Really felt like a home from home. Didn't need anything else. So thoughtful of Sharon to provide milk, tea, coffee, and best of all, cake!! Just what we needed after a long drive!
