Fantastic location away from the tourist traps

Lovely modern villa with a nice beach, beach bar and restaurants within walking distance. Really relaxed area with many nice properties. Kiron was an excellent host and very helpful.

Relaxing stay off the beaten track

Our whole family enjoyed our stay in this well appointed villa. Exactly as advertised with everything you need for a relaxing stay. We were able to get groceries delivered and the property managers were quick to respond to any issues we had. Would highly recommend.

most enjoyable.location of villa perfect for us. in addition the one or two problems at the villa ( nobodys fault ) were very fairly compensated for by the owners,and overall everyone had a very happy holiday

Excellent villa close to beach, local shop and restaurant.

4 decent sized double bedrooms with two en-suite and one family bathroom. The outside space is excellent for lounging around and swimming. The jacuzzi broke down halfway through our stay and it could not be fixed but a partial refund was given without hassle. The local beach is great for safe swimming and there is great beach bar/restaurant right on the edge of the beach.

Excellent villa

Just returned from a lovely holiday with the family in this beautiful villa. Pool and hot tub excellent. Facilities good. Enjoyed BBQ evenings on the patio. Ideal for a laid back, relaxing break. Shady, covered, flat walk to the beach, a little disappointed by the lack of cleanliness of the sea edge but could have been due to some stormy weather. Would highly recommend.

Great place to stay

Property is located in a quiet area and has 2 double rooms with ensuite shower rooms and 2 twin rooms with a shared separate bathroom & 1 toilet downstairs. All was clean and in order, any minor issues were quickly and efficiently dealt with by James. Restaurants, the beach and a small shop within short walk but I do recommend a car for your stay, for getting the most out of your stay. Would I book again? .... Yes

A wonderful stay - May 2023

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Espina. The villa itself is beautiful, well laid out, with all the mod-cons you could expect. James took great care of us, going that extra mile to bring us inflatables for the pool and toys for the beach. Cala Murada is certainly on the quieter side of the island, so if you’re looking for a relaxing location this place could fit the bill. There are a variety of decent restaurants in walking distance from the villa, as are 2 (smallish) supermarkets. The beach is also close by, 5-10mins on foot. Clean sand and calm, crystal blue sea - perfect for children. As our first beach holiday in 4 years, we were really looking for a week’s holiday to relax, unwind and re-charge – Casa Espina did not disappoint!

Cheeky getaways

The house was in a quiet residential location although there are other rentals nearby. You do need a car to get around Local small beach less than a 10 minute walk away with a great beach bar that serves great food and drinks from 10am until late. On the way you pass another restaurant (next to the Spar) which doesn't look much but serves fabulous food. The house itself had all mod cons and the pool was a godsend expecially given the temperatures. Some fruits wines were left as a welcome lovely touch. Spacious for families. You only have to drive 15/20 minutes and you come across very lively resorts.

Fabulous villa

This villa had the wow factor when we walked in. It was spotlessly clean, a comfortable seating area and a well equipped kitchen. There was one en suite bedroom on the ground floor, the others were upstairs. The pool was perfect for young children, but not if you wanted to show off your diving abilities. The hot tub was very popular and the bbq was used several times. The villa is on a very quiet residential road and it’s about a 5 minute walk to the beach along a tree lined pathway. You pass a great restaurant en route, alongside a very convenient Spar store. We didn’t initially hire a car as we thought we would use cabs, however, cabs are scarce in this area and Uber doesn’t exist. Halfway through our holiday we did hire a car to try the restaurants in neighbouring resorts, as well as looking at the beautiful beaches. There are approximately 6 restaurants in Cala Murada, but difficult to visit if you have mobility issues as they are up hills. Lastly the management company are very professional, thank you James

Disappointing in the extreme

On arrival we were shown around by Manager James, who drew our attention to various faults: the ensuite shower was unusable, as it leaked down the walls of the kitchen below, and the lock on a door to the pool was faulty. During our stay we identified over 20 other problems: Aircon/heating units in three bedrooms were faulty, the dishwasher didn't clean properly, the bidet leaked, the shower screen seal fell off repeatedly, there was mould around the bath and shower, slats under mattresses in two bedrooms broke and a nasty smell emanated from the downstairs toilet, etc, etc. Although mostly not serious, they were irritating as they showed a clear failure to proactively maintain the property, which was clearly in need of upgrading and refurbishing. All signs of neglect in what should have been a smart and well presented property. Some of these problems were dealt with, although waiting for workmen to arrive did not feature in our holiday planning. After nearly two weeks of our four week stay, James offered to move us to a nearby villa, but this was too little too late and should have been offered on arrival. We declined, as, by then we couldn't face the effort of resettling, with no guarantee that the other villa would be any better. Although apologies and compensation were given, these were sadly inadequate recompense for our worst rental experience in 14 years.

Het huis is netjes en mooi en zoals de beschrijving. In een week met wat meer wisselvallig weer was de veranda ontzettend prettig met als extra pluspunt de warme jacuzzi. Strand en basis winkeltje op loopafstand.

Schöne Unterkunft

Tolles Haus. Schöner Pool, jedoch würde ein Geländer das Betreten noch sicherer machen. Die Aussendusche könnte erneuert werden. Das Highlight ist der Whirlpool.

Cala murada

Der Aufenthalt war schön, die Umgebung spitze, aber eine Luxusvilla ist es nicht. Es fehlt Bettwäsche und Handtücher und Auflagen für die Liegen. Aber die Betreuung durch den James war hervorragend. Und leider ist der Pool nicht beheizt. Das ist ein großes Mango, weil man ihn gar nicht nutzen kann. Wir würden trotzdem wieder hinfahren. Im Großen und Ganzen war es toll und ein Badezimmer war nicht benutzbar. Das ist natürlich schlecht.

Un super séjour !

Très belle maison, très fonctionnelle, confortable et propre! Piscine et jacuzzi très appréciés! Les hôtes sont au top, très a l'écoute et réactif si il y a un besoin dans la maison. Joli panier de fruits pour nous accueillir ! Café, serviette de plage... Très pratique quand on voyage. Un super séjour dans cette maison que je recommande vivement !

Lovely villa in quite location close to beach

Casa Espina is a lovely spacious villa (we were a party of 6 adults and 2 teenagers), close to pretty beach and within walking distance of bars and small local supermarkets. Villa is very well equipped for all your needs and James was very helpful with any queries I had prior to arrival. Would definitely consider going there again. Just be aware there were quite a few mosquitoes when we visited in October, although mosquito devices in all rooms, so not a problem indoors.

Villa liegt gut in der Nähe des Strandes. Einkaufsmöglichkeit "Spar" in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Wir konnten die für 2019 gebuchte Villa pandemiebedingt erst in 2022 nutzen, wofür wir uns für das Entgegekommen der Agentur recht hetzlich bedsnken! Lattenrost im EG-Schlafzimmer war defekt. Elekrosicherungen durch starken Regen am Anreisetag teilweise ausgefallen, wurde aber von Agentur am nächsten Tag behoben! Pool musste nahezu täglich nachgefüllt werden da er anscheinend undicht ist. Somit lies die Temperatur zu wünschen übrig. Sehr angenehm war der Whirlpool den wir fsst täglich nutzten. Waren das 2.Mal in dieser schönen Gegend. Würden gerne wieder kommen, aber nicht für fast den doppelten Preis ab 2023, was schon an eine Frechheit grenzt ( fast 4.100 € für 9 Nächte )

Abseits von Trubel und Hektik Zeit zum Entspannen

Wir waren für eine Woche mit der Familie in der Villa. Der Ort Cala Murada ist nichts für Leute die das Bummeln und Nachtleben lieben, denn dort sind bis auf eine Hand voll Restaurants oberhalb im Ort nichts zu entdecken. Wer ein Mietwagen hat ist sehr flexibel und schnell unterwegs. In 7 Minuten ist man von der Villa in Cales de Mallorca. Hier gibt es deutlich mehr Nachtleben und Shoppingmöglichkeiten. Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen und würden sicherlich wieder kommen. Zum Abschalten und Entspannen genau das richtige.

Schön mit kleinen Mängeln

Vorne weg, die Betreuung von James ist mehr als 5 Sterne! Ein absolut perfekter Gastgeber der stets bemüht ist es den Gästen so angenehm wie möglich zu machen! Das Haus leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen! Sehr ungepflegt und auch nicht sauber! Der Pool ist leider nicht sauber und wird mangelhaft gewartet! Abdeckung im Boden offen so das man sich in den Fuß Schneidet! Leider passiert! Betten und Matratze sind eine Katastrophe! Leider!

Lovely property

Villa exactly as described with a lovely garden area for relaxing in. Hot tub is a nice addition. Pool isn't the deepest so no good for jumping in but fine for a refreshing dip. Air conditioning was wonderful. Nice quiet neighbourhood and close to the beach. Cala Murada is a small resort but has a couple of supermarkets, several restaurants and bars. Beach was nice and clean and very popular.

Schönes Gaus, aber keine Luxusvilla

Wir (2 E, 2-5 Teens) waren ca. 11 Tage in dem Haus, das sehr geräumig ist und daher für unsere Zwecke ideal war. Das Inventar ist hier und da ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen und dürfte mal ersetzt werden. Die Elektrifizierung hat sich im Laufe der Jahre entwickelt, so dass Schalter ins Leere gingen oder zusätzlich eine Fernbedienung für Lampen des Aussenbereichs erforderlich waren. Die Pooltechnik war während unseres Aufenthalts defekt und funktionierte nur manuell, so dass das Wasser zum Ende trüb war und sich Ablagerungen am Poolrand bildeten. Die Lage des Hauses zu einem Strand ist sehr gut. Wer schönere Strände wünscht, braucht auf jeden Fall ein Auto. Der Service von James war 24/7 vorbildlich. Wiederkommen würden wir allerdings nicht, da Luxus zwar in der Beschreibung steht, aber nur Standard im Haus zu finden war. Dennoch ist das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis gut bis sehr gut.

Wieder dort und wieder gut !

Wir waren wieder SEHR zufrieden in der Casa Espina. Diesmal waren wir mit vier Erwachsenen und drei kleinen Kinder dort. Alles wunderbar. Lage ist super. Whirlpool ist sehr komfortabel wenn der Pool noch für die Erwachsenen etwas kalt ist. Sicherlich kommen wir wieder.

Urlaub im Herbst

Sehr gepflegtes Haus mit sehr viel Platz und Licht. Wir waren zu viert und jeder hätte ein Zimmer für sich haben können. Die Nähe zum Strand und zum Spar ist besonders hervorzuheben - Herrlicher, kurzer Spaziergang am Morgen zum Brötchen holen. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder buchen.

Fint sted og fin beliggenhed - dog var stedet meget slidt

Det kunne trænge til en renovering af Pool og møbler Poolen var utæt og møblerne virkelig slidte. Dog vil jeg gerne rose James rigtig meget, vores vaskemaskine duede ikke - han kom med ny med det samme. Stolene var slidte og gik istykker når vi satte os i dem - der kom nye med det samme. James svarede på beskeder med det samme, han får top karakter herfra, men selve huset får ikke så mange
